So disappointing!! I loved seasons 2-5 & Roanoke (6) was HORRIBLE! I hoped that season was a fluke, but it looks like AHS has ran it's course & is done for good. When I saw the season was called "Cult" I had high hopes, because there's sooo much potential for creepy horror there. Unfortunately, it took a major nose dive with corny clown masks, repetitive election nonsense & a cast devoid my favorite people from previous seasons. I read that the season isn't actually about politics & that was just a jumping off point. That might have restored hope if it weren't for the season trailer at the end of the episode showing nothing even REMOTELY interesting in episodes to come. SMH. Big fail AHS!! So sad :(

Please get better!! Love the clown idea but really leave the politics for the news. Very disappointed, and I was so excited for the opening night. This just stirs up more trouble than necessary on many fronts. The nation doesn't need to be fed more poison. Hope y'all are still taping and can fix this somehow. Your losing me and I'm a diehard fan.

What in the world is the matter with AHS???? Hated the entire Season 6, Roanoke, and this first episode of AHS Cult has prompted me to delete any future episode recordings!! Wise up you whining losers-not everybody considers Trump/ridicule entertainment! Bye bye!!!!

I feel like it is kind of lame, but also unbiased. It's not equating trump to mass murderers. It's expressing the negatives expressed on both sides. The encited fear brought upon by trumps stances it's expressed into power for radical rights and unrealistic vitcimisms for radical lefts. Both are insane and ridiculous.

Not watching this season since they went and made it political. Are we not bombarded enough on social media & tv with politics day in & day out? I watch fictional tv shows to get AWAY from all of the crap! I think it's time people start moving forward with their lives - it's been almost a year! Get a damn grip already! AHS has done nothing but shot itself in the foot with this season. Big disappointment.

The first 4 seasons were awesome, hotel was ok. Roanoke was so lame I couldnt get thru the 1st episode and never attempted to watch any more episodes. I was looking forward to this new season, yet again I have been let down. This season is also a bomb, and the acting this year wow, are the actors back in drama school? Too bad, was looking forward to an amazing season of AHS.

If I wanted political commentary I would watch CNN, especially since the new season is basically left wing liberal cry baby vomit! So now we are equating Trump with mass murders? Give me a freaking break! I will give it a few more episodes, but not liking what I have seen. I have watched all the previous seasons and they were very entertaining, but this season it just looks like the writers had an ax to grind, no pun intended, toward the current political state of affairs and are desperately trying to weave it into a horror show! They have failed on every level.

Disappointed- even though I knew politics would be a factor this season, I had hoped it would hopefully be unbiased and be relevant to the plot. I'm willing to give it a few more episodes. But I'm not liking what I've seen so far. I have a feeling that the murderous clowns, the psychologist and police are all in on it...
