It is tough choice as seeing two CEO of leader companies in their sectors (ERIC being Telco backend and APPL Telco consumer) that are struggling against their emerging competitors (Huawei and Nokia for former while Samsung and Google for the latter). I would give the vote to Tim Cook to the more innovative R&D approach that Apple has been trying in different market areas, while Ericsson in my opinion appear as just trying to survive until the next 5G rollout to start being successful which is more passive action to take than aggressive and profit seeking than it should be for a company in the US market.
Broje is Highly Driven and his quest For Finding Value in his Actions , finding correct blend and mix , I see a leader with cause and Purpose thats an essentials for all leaders but to carry it on and steering the ship in right direction needs steely will and he has it .
I've started understanding the CEO letters after having Börje onboarded. He explains the company program very crisp&clear that everyone understands. He gives very simple examples from real life.
This keeps me motivated to contribute to the company success.

When it comes to the most powerful personality in Telecom, its has to be Borje, because of his vision to make Ericsson again the most active change-element in furthering of the Telecom as an enabler of society for next generation, with a focus on simplifying the Solutions, thereby empowering the Telecom Operators globally to give the solutions to their customers which they have not yet seen or thought about. This approach of simplification along with poineering 5G innovation and deployment, and empowering Telecom Operators will create the most powerful impact in giving the society the solutions of next level, like IoT. It is worhtwhile to recall here what S. Jobs once said, " people don't know what they want until you show it to them". When one company thinking on these lines could change the humanity so greatly, just imagine the impact that could result from thousands of empowered Telecom Operators across the Globe providing their customers the solutions which they don't even know that they need, which does not even exist in their imaginations.
