Greg's work to bridge the digital divide for all rural communities is going to revolutionize the telecommunications industry in a way we have never seen before. His tireless effort to find new ways of connecting the world has been inspiring, and with his newest venture into space he has gained my vote for the most powerful/important man of the telecommunications industry for 2017, however, I feel his impact will be known to all even more so come 2018 and beyond.

Please take a moment today and vote for my friend Greg Wyler, an inspiring pioneer leading the world in the mission of ubiquitous broadband coverage for all. ❤️???????? Alaska will be the first area covered by the constellation of satellites he and his team are launching into low earth orbit. Leaders like this are rare and a true blessing.

Greg Wyler is brilliant and a visionary whose company OneWeb has the chance of making the world a better place. Greg has my vote

OneWeb's Greg Wyler is a brilliant telecom visionary AND a humanitarian. He is going to bridge the digital divide and change millions of people's lives for the better (if not billions). This is the kind of power that deserves recognition. Greg gets my vote!

John wins pants down! Maverick, a marketing machine! Totally changed the telecom space; can bet on him to deliver. He doesn't stop, while the other telecom stocks are struggling in negative territory this year, $TMUS is the only major wireless stock up 9% ytd! Sprint is now a train wreck disappearing into abyss of no where at a whopping negative 36% ytd, ouch!
Greg is onto something big thanks to help from SoftBank ( although they've ruined sprint) which would eventually benefit the entire wireless space -but better luck next year.
J. E. R. R. Y. - 7 years ago
John for sure AGAIN this year. T-Mobile, under his continung leadership and with the team he's put together CONTINUES to change wireless. Best example I can think of is the monthly bill. What you were told at the store is EXACTLY what you get. The service costs this, the phone costs that. FIN. No surprise hidden fees, charges, sur-charges, and no non-understandable items. Compare to any (EVERY) other carrier. Don't even get me started on T-Mobile Tuesday's and slow cooker Sunday's. Greg.. I think you'll get there. I hope so too, cause we need ALL CEO's to be like John. When you do you WILL have my vote. I'm looking for the day. - Jer

On my forecast and actual understanding, JL believes and set to reality the consumer needs in Telecom Industry. Of course, his flexibility goes beyond not limited to telecom but he perceived goes beyond other product as well. T-Mobile connects and reaches out to other products and consumers. Awesome moves!!!

Greg is a phenomenal genius, if you ever want to know how revolutionary minds work have a chat with Greg. Did great things in Rwanda and continues to create access for all. OneWeb is on an incredible trajectory. VOTE @greg_wyler he’s simply GOOD and on track to change the world!!!

Endorsements mean squat. Changing an industry means everything and IS true power. It's all Ledger, regardless of who wins this.

Even though Greg looks to be an outstanding addition to the telecom works he is hardly the most powerful. I'm not even sure JL is the most powerful but he has moved cellular mountains. He has completely changed the telecom industry forcing all other carriers to follow suit regardless of big and powerful they were. Between these two JL is the most powerful hands down. Even if he doesn't win this competition.

Greg Wyler has been the favored underdog in every arena of the Telecommunications community and continues to surprise us. This is going to be no different. The fact a startup founder has made it this far against such opponents speaks volumes.
Alex - 7 years ago
Although John Legere is an OUTSTANDING CEO, and has single-handedly turned around T-Mobile - Greg Wyler is on an entirely separate plane, attempting something that has only been contemplated before. He started from his own home, in his garage, with a very small, dedicated group of like-minded individuals on a very ambitious mission. He personally dug holes in Africa to assist with laying fiber lines to provide them with connectivity. Through OneWeb, he's going to provide global internet access. GLOBAL. INTERNET. ACCESS. He's changing policy, rules, and expectations. Greg has gone one up against Google, Facebook, SpaceX, and many other established enterprise conglomerates without hesitation. Doesn't matter where you'll be, why you're there, or how you got there - you'll have Internet Access. The mission is MUCH bigger than a wireless carrier. It will connect every school, hospital, and everything in between. I love John, but Greg is on a much more critical mission and deserves massive kudos for having made it this far with such resources. A vote for Greg is a vote for humanity's next largest advancement.
CrisV - 7 years ago
John Legere is not the typical CEO in the Wireless Industry! He said “We are going to rewrite the rules of wireless for our customers.” and we continue to deliver. We are in a revolution to transform the wireless industry and be famous for Care.

Greg Wyler is completely disrupting telecommunications - OneWeb is filling in the gaps these MNOs and ISPs can't cover - over half the world, by the way. Not only has he championed information access as a human right before it was "cool" to do so, but his company's primary mission is to connect every school on the planet! A vote for Greg Wyler is a vote for a level playing field for all humans.
Benji - 7 years ago
John Legere is the most powerful person in telecom. He turned around T-mobile and is taking customers away from Verizon and AT&T. He fights for consumers and he speaks his mind like no other CEO does. Happy that Sprint/T-mobile merger didn't happen. Would've been bad for consumers.
