Shaq without a doubt. I agree with Dan. No one could guard Shaq in this era. Heck, Shaq could be barely contained in his era. Who would defend Shaq? I could think of several that could match up on Kobe. Shaq had rules changes because of his dominance. There are several Kobe type's out there but Shaq is rare.

Dan, you are good at stirring the pot, but Shaq is a far more dominant, ANCHOR to a team. There are 5,000 slashing #2 guards in the world, but you can not coach size. duh! 6'4" 210lbs.
