I was initially disappointed in Shea Moisture but I had so much product in my cupboard that by the time I had to re-up, I had reconciled my feelings. The one thing I've always admired about the company is how they support women of color with their profits. Rod says no one is ever canceled but Shea Moisture took a hit from Black women. Some of the same Black women on my FB feed that were quick to defend Dove after their ads are still mad at Shea Moisture.
