If Nadal and Federer are not 'expected' to be the 2018 year-end No. 1 (as per previous poll here), who do you think will be?

If Nadal and Federer are No. 1 and 2 today and they won't, then isn't it logical (obvious?) that whoever is No. 3 today will get there? Am I missing something? Or someone else is - tad more than this logic? It's basic freaking math. Geeezzz!!!!!
