It is the same issue with standardized testing. Yes, we know it isn't the best method to determine someone's intelligence, but we really don't have another solution.

My thoughts on these scandals/FBI tapes. I think Coaches will be fired, programs will be put on suspension and lose scholarships to begin with. I would like to see the NCAA as a whole add a bigger regulation division, possibly push it out to each conference with emphasis on basketball and basketball as a start, expand later.
Should players get paid, yes and no. Yes they should receive something for playing, it's full time, almost year round job. I'd like to see an allowance for them to use for family members to travel to games. No, they shouldn't use it to buy cars, jewelry and other non-essential items and services.
