Babylon Berlin is amazing. That is all.
Have heard a couple of mentions of Babylon Berlin being good, but haven’t heard or read an actual review. Curious, but don’t have the time to invest in finding out if it’s just “good” or if it’s “GOOD!”
I binged Frankenstein Chronicles. One of the better reworking in the steampunk genre that takes modern science tech and examins its themes. I liked this series because it takes time to develop characters, introduce the world of Georgian England and develop ideas. The second season moves faster with lots of twists. This show and Altered Carbon are both examples of how genre fiction can come to video with a quality production. Neither show is perfect but snaps to Nutflakes for the sponsoring and recognizing genre. Let’s see if they can go for more series. The Ancillary Justice series is the next challenges.
