Trump can have my $ . Canadians are being ripped off by ICBC and gas tax.

It's the same in ontario, gas is 1.20 and it's cheaper to buy in NY

I live in Maple Ridge and can save over 10 cents a litre by filling in Mission.

Too many NDP hippies in BC. Of course I would buy gas in the US. The government can have my income tax, but the majority of my spending is done through the US. I save $100's each month.

I not only get my gas across the border, I buy my groceries and clothing for my kids, etc. Even with the exchange rate, the prices are better across the border. I take $180 to $200 Cdn. and I am able to get a full tank of gas (truck), groceries for the week and I even have money left over to buy lunch for my kids and a few items at Macy's or Kohls and I still have money left in my pocket. I am not that close to the border but I have to stretch my dollar just to get by. I wish BC would have better prices. If they did, I would not drive across. $180 here will only get me just enough groceries for the week and nothing extra, not even a full tank of gas.

People must buy vehicles and fuel or big business is finished. The countries policies architects are aware of the dichotomy.
    Chaos is a robust economy.

People have been using Canadian and American currency interchangeably for more than 100 years. Probably trillions in laundered money. Try spending Chinese currency anywhere without the banks or casinos finding out.

And give Donald Trump my hard earned money. NEVER. Support Canada. The savings go to exchange and travelling anyway.

Of course I fill up in the U.S. whenever I have the chance .... Canadian citizens and businesses are being taxed to death!

If I was close enough to the American border I would definitely cross to fill with fuel. We are being taxed to death, I have to commute from the west coast of Vancouver Island to Vancouver to work and between ferries and fuel it is very expensive.I can’t afford to live in the mainland so I have to commute.

Enough taxes already!!! Tired of being ripped off. Government lets oil companies keep prices high to keep those tax dollars coming in!!! It's a total scam exactly where do the carbon tax dollars go? Pay higher taxes on fuel then sit in traffic burning fuel so they can collect a carbon tax? How about building a decent hyway system to move traffic and goods through rather than sitting in traffic burning over priced fuel so the government can collect more money. Being polite Canadians we just take it and never stand up for ourselves.

I’m not close to the border so a special trip isn’t worth while. If I was closer I definitely would. I hope that all the anti pipelines buy gas in BC as these prices are a taste of the future if Horgan/Weaver get their way. Or perhaps these hipocrits don’t use petroleum products.

As if we as British Columbian's are not taxed enough. Gas is a necessity just like food, for people to move around. We end up burning more gas because we search for other options.
