Last July I rented a car from Idealrent. Having no direct flights to from my country to Slovenia, we opted to travel from Treviso Airport to Slovenia and Croatia and back to Italy. So naturally, we needed a reliable car service. At first, my enquiries were at Treviso Airport companies but were set back by the negative feedback from past clients. Moreover, their opening times were not convenient for our early departure. I started wondering what was the best option for our travel plans.
Searching the internet on Trip advisor a Slovenian company namely Idealrent cropped out with a 100% positive reviews. I contacted them and the owner Mr Dejan Ipavec replied sending us a tailored deal for our travel plans. At first, I was a bit hesitant because it was not a big company, however after reading other clients positive reviews like picking the car from one country and dropping in another without any excessive fees we agreed and booked with Idealrent. Mr Dejan speaks perfect English so there were no language problems
On our arrival at Airport, we were picked up by Gaspare who is a very amicable person. He drove us to Ljubljana to pick our car. The drive was filled with historical information and suggestions for places to visit. We were driven at a hotel and offered some drink refreshments free of charge. Dejan came with the hired car, which to our surprise was better than the one agreed. It was a brand new car with just seven km on the dial and had an enormous boot for all our luggage to fit inside, this was an upgrade at no extra costs. We were three adults all with separate luggage and hand luggage. Whilst in our past rentals we couldn't put all our luggage inside the boot. Thanks to this upgrade from Idealrent we managed to stop and add other places on the way with all our luggage hidden safely inside.
Returning the car was easy without any problems. The service given by Idealrent was the best possible solution for our travel plans. This was available with no hidden costs. We recommend Idealrent rent to any other costumer and will be renting again if in the area. To end this review, we were treated more like a family than just another customer.
