Mitch Mierke, Milford – He received the Reds MVP Award for the Eagles’ win over Lakota West in the Reds High School Showcase game. He was 2-for-5 with 1 double and 2 RBIs. This past week, he was 8-for-14 with 3 doubles and 7 RBI.
Dylan Whisman, Bethel-Tate – He had 14 strikeouts against Georgetown April 18 in six innings. He had a one-hitter and no walks in the 10-0 win. He was 2-for-3 with a sacrifice fly and 3 RBI.
Will Pfennig, Mason – Pfennig got the win April 17 that gave his coach Curt Bly his 100th career win. In four starts this season, Pfennig, who’s signed with Ohio State, is 4-0 with a 0.29 ERA (0.58 WHIP) and 48 strikeouts in 24 innings.
Lane Flamm, New Richmond – He had a no-hitter against Taylor April 21 to help improve his record to 7-0.
Ty Dellerman, St. Xavier – The catcher was 1-for-2 with an RBI, a walk and seven putouts in a 3-2 win over Centerville. He was also 1-for-3 with a run, an RBI, 11 putouts and two assists in the 12-6 win over Edgewood April 22.
Dan Sewak, Lakota East – The senior catcher, who is second in the Greater Miami Conference with a .488 batting average and leads the league in RBI, went 2-for-3 to help coach Ray Hamilton earn his 300th win for his Lakota East coaching career. They won 14-5 over Hamilton April 19.
