For the week, he batted at a .615 clip (8-for-13), with five of his eight hits going for extra-bases (three doubles, two triples). Minton drove in 10 for the week, scored seven times, drew five walks and stole two bases. He also pitched two innings of scoreless relief, striking out four.

For the week, Mitchell had six assists from right field, one more in the first game with Fairfield and on a play at the plate Thursday against Little Miami.

  • Mo Schaffer, Moeller – He threw the 24th no-hitter in Moeller history April 30 in a 10-0 win over Elder. On May 4, he hit a three-run double in the top of the 10th against Covington Catholic that led to a Crusaders’ win.
