Now that Mike Richards is out, who should host 'Jeopardy!'?

  • Mayris Woods - 3 years ago

Definitely not Levar Burton!! We love Mayim. Also like Buzzy and Ken.

We are huge fans of Jeopardy, but if Levar is chosen, “good-bye” from our family.

  • Ellen densch - 3 years ago

My vote goes to mike Richards. He can always be rehired. Bring him back.

If he won’t consider coming back then bring in a new person. No one met the challenge as host. Okay, Buzzy would do, but keep looking. We all deserve a good host.

What about a local newscaster? Or an actor from a pool of city actors.

  • Sharon Johnson - 3 years ago

After watching them all I had Richards as favorite make and Bualik as favorite female. I disagree with many as I thought Rodgers was horrible. Burton was nowhere near as good as he has been in other roles. I think a new face, one not associated with and previous positions would be best.

  • Mike N - 3 years ago

Buzzy Cohen was the best guest host period. I love Lavar Burton but he never looked comfortable after a week on the show. Hosting Jeopardy is not the same as hosting Reading Rainbow or staring in any number of shows I've loved him in most of my life. Ken Jennings was good, but Buzzy and Mike Richards were both much better than either of those.

I understand why Mike RIchards is out and don't argue about that. Mayim Bialik is out due to other commitments but she would have been a good permanent choice as well. I don't see any of the other guest hosts, besides Buzzy, Ken and Mayim, being legitimate candidates for the full time gig. I will admit that I was surprised at how well Aaron Rogers did.

  • Teri - 3 years ago

I really liked mayim bialek… thought lavatory burton did a terrible job and am not a fan of ken Jennings

  • Olga Khan - 3 years ago

Mike Richards was the best. You're idolizing some fake angels like Jennings or Bialik, they are not fitt for this job.
The criteria of selection is some other thing than the real qualifications. Trebek wasn't a God, keep in mind, putting hands together doesn't look good or professional, nor imitating Alex, people have personality, are not the carbon copy of a past person.

  • Georgia - 3 years ago

Buzzy is my favorite. He has the personality, always appears happy, knows how to make the show about the contestants, Please don't make choosing the host political, your ratings will go down as people are tired of everything being political. Let's just have an interesting and knowledgeable fun show. Alex would want that.

  • Judy - 3 years ago

Buzzy is great. He's not a celebrity, just a brilliant well prepared gentleman.

  • Marqueeta - 3 years ago

NO TO KEN JENNINGS He thinks to much of himself. Since Mayim was given the 2nd best she should have the host position if she wants it, otherwise you should pick Laura Coates as Alex wanted her to take over. I think both would be a good choice

  • Jan - 3 years ago

David Faber was my favorite, He has a nice voice and fits Alex place just right I also liked Buzzy C. ] David will be a wonderful host ....... Please not Ken Kennngs No

  • Cindy Schlaffman - 3 years ago

I think Ken Jennings is a great choice as is Buzzy Cohen or Aaron Rodgers. All three were confident in there presentation and interacted well with the contestants. Levar Burton is a grest actor and good on his PBS shows but stumbled all over the place during his hist time. I will not watch Jeopardy if he is selected.

  • Chris V - 3 years ago

I think Myiam or Buzzy were the best but to each their own.

  • Darrell Green - 3 years ago

    How about David Letterman?
    I’ll bet he’s available

  • joan - 3 years ago

David Faber would be the best host as he most resembles Alex in his mannerisms and speech. Not a woman, please!

  • Anonymous - 3 years ago

So sorry Mike Richards had to go. Why hasn't BRAD RUTTER had a go as host? Nice voice and seems pleasant.
David Faber and Aaron Rogers both displayed a good sense of humor and good interactions with the contestants. (Rogers said he could do "both jobs"!) Buzzy Cohen did well and you could do worse than Jennings.
Ditto on all the negative comments about LaVar. He really was awful.

  • Woody - 3 years ago

The disgusting cancel culture and shameless campaigning for and by LaVar Burton is divisive and has gotten to the point that it should disqualify Burton from consideration. Now, Burton supporters have gone past Richards and are after Bialik. I would never watch a host who doesn't have the courtesy to graciously accept results and does nothing to ask his fans to stop attacks on others.

  • Sharon - 3 years ago

I was sorry to hear about Mike's missteps in earlier years because he did a great job hosting. Ken has become overexposed and doesn't need another show. Aaron did a pretty good job and would do justice to the show. Lavar would be a terrible choice. When he hosted I couldn't wait for the end of the show each day. His total surprise when contestants answered correctly was infuriating. These are smart people and its expected they would know the answers. He tried too hard and never showed the skill, finesse, and steadiness needed for a jeopardy host. Jeopardy is NOT the show for him, despite what he thought.

  • Riley - 3 years ago

    Anderson Cooper
    Aaron Rodgers
    Joe Buck
    David Faber

Please not Ken or LeVar, They were horrible. And not sure why Mayim was chosen.

  • Tonya Monroe - 3 years ago

    1. Joe Buck was amazing ! 2. David Faber 3. Sanjay Gupta.
I did not like Ken Jennings as he was cold and had also said controversial comments. And Lavar Burton was over zealous, he tried to hard and made it sound to rules base.

  • Sara - 3 years ago

I have a concern that Mayim Bialik said the "n" word on Jeopardy!, it's racist to say the "n" word. Therefore, she cannot be the host of Jeopardy! Levar did an excellent job hosting Jeopardy!, compared to Mayim Bialik. I expect Levar to be the host of Jeopardy! Inshallah (God willing) that Levar will be the host of Jeopardy!

  • Heidi - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings would be my #1 pick followed by Mayim Bialik. She was a good host, seemed to really enjoy the game and was very personable in the guest interviews.
I like Levar Burton as an actor, but he was one of the worst hosts during this trial period. Very boring.

  • Nancy Buck - 3 years ago

After watching 60 Minutes I'd vote for Scott Pelly... he's the most like Alex Trebek .

  • Diana - 3 years ago

Look at all the comments for Aaron Rogers! He was a pleasant surprise. He did great with the questions and his interaction with the contestants was something closer to Alex. I loved the natural talent of Maylm and her desire for all contestants to do well. If LaVar is chosen, your fans will leave. He was horrible. If you have to make excuses for their poor performance, they are not the one!

  • Robert Young - 3 years ago

Mike Richards did a great job hosting and should have stayed. Instead, he got taken down by Social Justice Warrior LibPropaganda.

As for the new host, NOT Levar Burton. He was terrible, disrespectful, wants it too t, and played the race card. Martin Luther King Jr said to judge people by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. So NO Levar.

Who should be picked? Ken Jennings.

But if he's damaged goods, too, and so is Mayim Biallik, how about trying someone who Alex Trebek wanted such as Alex Faust.

  • Dee - 3 years ago

    Grace Jones.

  • Maggie - 3 years ago

Arron Rodgers, without a doubt or Mayim, ANYONE beside Lavar Burton, he was just plan awful, ask his wife who when he asked how he did she said eeh..

  • Suzanna - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings or Buzzy Cohen would have been Trebecks pick and should be honored. Levar Burton was terrible, but he's a person if color and I honestly think that is why so many people want him. He was not good and my husband and I would quit watching. Don't make this political which appears to be happening. Matin would be good. No Oz. And make a decision soon. The way this is being done is rediculous.

  • Lynn - 3 years ago

I thought David Farber was by far the best but not sure he would want to do it. LaVar Burton was one of the worst. Aaron Rogers really improved as he went along and was pleasant to watch.
I also think that Mike Richards should be negotiated with to leave as executive producer. He is a stain on jeopardy and I’m sure another executive producer can be found.

  • Lynne Reed - 3 years ago

Please, please, please not Ken Jennings or James Holzhauer, while they are both quick on the signaling button, they are both extremely cocky and too full of themselves. If either of them are the new host,Jeopardy will lose a 30 year plus viewer.

  • Kevin M Vayo - 3 years ago

Lavar Burton was one of the two or three worst guest hosts. The best? David Faber but I don’t see him accepting. Aaron Rogers improved the most from start to finish. Hard for me to say because I wanted Ken Jennings to follow Alex. But, his voice just does not inspire continued viewing. Buzzy was better. That is why I voted to start the search over.

  • Barbara Weglarz - 3 years ago

David Faber outshined everyone else, although Aaron and Buzzy were quite good. If Levar Burton is chosen, as many have stated, it is over. He may be good at what he does, he may be a good soul, however, he is NOT who we - the loyal fans - want. If chosen, unfortunately, it would be so obvious and so controversial and that is exactly what you do not need. Also, two hosts - two hosts? Not a good idea either.

  • Margaret - 3 years ago

Aaron Rodgers was prepared for his hosting stint. He was natural, humble and very pleasant. He was not stiff and didn't take himself so seriously, as did many of the others. Aaron related so well to the contestants. We will continue to be every night viewers if he is chosen. That may not be true if Ken Jennings or LeVar Burton is the final choice. They are both too serious and seem to want to be the star of the show. As Alex said, the contestants are the stars. Still rooting for Aaron, as we have since his first night as host. Additionally, we don't follow football and didn't even know who he was until his appearance as host.

  • Joe - 3 years ago

Aaron Rogers! He studied. He put effort into it and it showed! He was all-around best. Buzzy was surprisingly good also. Ken Jennings has supposedly said he does not want the job full-time. Mike Richards….did no one notice his lisp?! So annoying! Additionally, it’s not the remarks he made on the podcast that made me glad he quit. People say things like that, especially on a comedy show. No, this guy was a real arrogant jerk off camera. His coworkers don’t like him. Long-time employees quit rather than work with him. He inserted himself into this search and lied to the camera stating no one could fill in for Ken due to COVID, so as shucks, he’ll do it. Ken was told they would work around his shooting his other show until Richards saw his golden opportunity and overruled production. Still like him now? Go read the article from the Ringer. Cancel culture is one thing, but this guy is a conniving narcissist who got his comeuppance. If Rogers doesn’t get it, try Brad Rutter out!

  • Kathleen Ashby - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings is the absolute very very very best!!! He has excellent experience!
    Thank you, Kathleen Ashby
    Long time fan of Jeopardy

  • Dawn - 3 years ago

    Absolutely NOT Lavar Burton.
He gets the job I quit watching.

  • Simon - 3 years ago

They should honor Alex Trebek's wish and get Betty White as a host for at least one show.

  • Lori - 3 years ago

Anyone BUT Lavar Burtan. They will loose a long time viewer.

  • Barb Engle - 3 years ago

Definitely NOT LaVar Burton. He was the worst as far as I am concerned. He would turn me away from the show.

  • Gail Frazier - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings has my vote. Lavar made so many mistakes while hosting. He would yes, then no, wrong answer. I can't remember any host doing that and please don't say he was nervous. Pick a host that is qualified!

  • Sharon - 3 years ago

First of all, for those of you who are in the belief Mike should step down from producer due to past comments, shame. I doubt there is one of us who has not made a gaff in our lives. Lets be real and not go on the race card. Levar was terrible!!!!!! I suffered through his hosting and it was just terrible. Agonizing. I loved Buzzy and Robin!!!!

  • Kathy Brown - 3 years ago

My choice for a new face would be Bill Engvall, the comedian and former host of Smarter Than a 5th Grader. If I had to select from the list of guest hosts, I would pick Buzzy Cohen, Aaron Rodgers or David Faber. They all had a natural rhythm for delivery of the game board and natural rapport with the contests, both during the game and at the introductions. Levar Burton was too overzealous.

  • Eileen - 3 years ago

If Levar Burton is selected we all know why. And I won’t be watching anymore. It is all political. Mayim is my choice. Funny how so many people liked her and now all of a sudden she is the villain and horrible. Just make it Ken Jennings and be done with it. This whole thing is a bunch of garbage

  • Joe Valente - 3 years ago

Balick is just the worst. Burton is not much better. They might want to try Laura Coates, as Alex Trebek suggested.

  • Marie - 3 years ago

I do not like Mayim Balik and will stop watching an segment she is on. I like Buzzy Cohen to replace Mike Richard's but you should keep Mike Richard's on.

  • Ron and Barbara - 3 years ago

Myaim, Roger's, David, Joe and Mike are fine with us as host choices

    Not LeVar. reasons already stated

  • Ivy Norwood - 3 years ago

I think Ken Jennings would make a great host and really had Alex's vote.
Ken is a gentlemen and would honor the Jeopardy tradition which needs to continue .
Aaron Rodgers is also a natural and very comfortable in the position.
Forget the Social media uproar and choose someone who will continue to host the show with dignity!!!!

  • Ivy Norwood - 3 years ago

I think Ken Jennings would make a great host and really had Alex's vote.
Ken is a gentlemen and would honor the Jeopardy tradition which needs to continue .
Aaron Roberts is also a natural and very comfortable in the position.
Forget the Social media uproar and choose someone who will continue to host the show with dignity!!!!

  • Virginia Richardson - 3 years ago

Maybe there is a fan of the show that would make a good replacement. A former contestant that knows the game has a good speaking voice that all can understand. Maybe there should be auditions online for Jeopardy Host like the auditions to get on Jeopardy for contestants. Maybe there should be a few weeks of small market tv or radio personalities. Just a few thoughts.
    Otherwise...
I was thrilled Mike Richards was picked to host Jeopardy and sad to hear why he stepped away. Not everyone is perfect, people do change. I was NOT impressed with Lavar Burton. Burton is NOT the right fit for Jeopardy. Joe Buck did an excellent job hosting. I think he would make a great host. I like Mayim Bialik and was glad to see her offered a hosting position. She is smart, easy going and spoke well.

  • Janet Sommer - 3 years ago

Not Mayim. Aaron Rogers or Ken Jennings.

  • Michael Melling - 3 years ago

Please, NOT the dude that loaded a bunch of racial garbage into the whole thing ... and went on a campaign to get loud-mouths to lie and say "everyone wants Lavar Burton to have the job so just give it to him"!
Give it to Jennings or Mayim B.

  • Molly Davis - 3 years ago

Alex recommended the LA Kings announcer Alex Faust, and the NPR legal analyst Laura Coates, as potential successors. I'd like to know if they've been vetted by Jeopardy! producers.

  • Anonymous - 3 years ago

No to both Mayim and Lavar. They both need a storyline and a script. No to Whittaker and Ken, both too soft spoken and dull. The show needs a host who can read the answers, correctly pronounce the words, and be personable with the contestants and audiences. Buzzy, Robin, Sanjay, Joe, and Aaron all meet those requirements. Choose one of these qualified people and let's play Jeopardy.

  • Anonymous - 3 years ago

We are surely "Divided" in this poll. (If you're a game show nerd, then you'll get that joke.) We have to take into the account that all candidates were qualified to host "Jeopardy!", but only a few caught people's attention as extraordinary. Because the appearance, voice and personality of each guest host is different, we have to determine who made the game show worth watching and who helped things go by as smooth as possible. One thing to note is that many guest hosts are news anchors, journalists or correspondents; a few of them are actors; a few are doctors; and only a couple were "Jeopardy!" champions. Whoever gets to be the actual host has to take hours every week to film episodes, meaning that they current positions will have to be prioritized around their filming. Only a few of these people can actually do this full-time. And from that it's either LeVar Burton, Mayim Bialik or Buzzy Cohen. Everyone else, who regularly appear on media platforms like TV, will have to do their full-time job part-time, since their faces and voices are better suited for their actual job.

  • Martha M Micuda - 3 years ago

I have been a viewer of Jeopardy for a long time. No one can truly replace Alex Trebek, so it seems rather useless to continue auditioning people for the job. Jeopardy fans may never reach an actual consensus. However, since others are weighing in on the subject, I saw very little difference between Mike Richards and David Faber. I have to admit to not liking either one of them. Ken Jennings is an obvious choice and fit for Jeopardy. Whether Jeopardy fans like or dislike his personality, I would be surprised if most do not respect him or realize his important association with the success and evolution of the show. In choosing other of my favorites, I tried to be realistic about whether I thought individuals would "quit their day (or night) jobs" or adjust their work schedules to take the Jeopardy host position. After that thought process, I arrived at my other personal favorites, Mayim Bialik and Aaron Rodgers. I was surprised that Aaron Rodgers made my list of favorites, but there he was!

  • Ann - 3 years ago

Brad Ritter or Jeopardy James hands down

  • PAT - 3 years ago

I’m sorry I forgot about Buzzy, smart dresser quick talented funny, he is the one who deserves the spot

  • Theresa Jackson - 3 years ago

David Faber is the Best choice. If he's Not available then Ken Jennings. Please don't put others in there. Burton sounded like he was taking to children.

  • Dj - 3 years ago

It's beyond disappointing that social media has so much clout. May he without sin cast the first stone. In my opinion, the best one by far was Mike Richards. (I don't get the hype over LeVar Burton & wouldn't vote for Jennings or Rodgers). Good luck on choosing a replacement. It's obvious you're not going to please everyone. ????

  • Lorrie - 3 years ago

I thought Levar was the worst of all the guest hosts..if he gets it..I won't watch..I have watched for years..love the show
    I really liked Buzzy Cohen..he was witty...animated..personal..
    I also liked Dr Gupta...

  • Anonymous - 3 years ago

    Not Levar...

  • Lora - 3 years ago

I'm sorry but I watched it when Lavar Burton hosted and he wasn't good. He made mistakes and just don't think he's right for the job. Mayim or Robin would be great choices because they were both fantastic!

  • Unknown - 3 years ago

    Definitely not Levar Burton

  • Amy - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings is the best. He’s knowledgeable & chalk to watch. Alex really likes him.

  • Beth - 3 years ago

I liked Buzzy. He was funny and a joy to watch. I am tired of hearing about Lavar. Just because he thinks he was born for the job, doesn't mean he should get it. I would stop watching of he did.

  • Greg Szalony - 3 years ago

Ann Curry. Why was she never considered? If she is available she would be the perfect choice. She's intelligent, personable and attractive. If not her then Alex Trebec's choice Laura Coates. I don't understand why his wishes weren't considered. Levar Burton was a disaster. He tried to be over exuberant and it was painful to watch.

  • Greg Szalony - 3 years ago

  • Rob - 3 years ago

My number one choice would be mayim bialik or LeVar Burton no Ken Jennings please it looks like a robot up there not a good choice

  • Barbara Fici - 3 years ago

I like Joe Buck & David Faber as they were more soft spoken and gentile. You also need someone who is a little laid back and makes the contestants at ease even if they do not have the correct answers. He or she should be respectful, polite and have a sense of Humor. He or she should have a voice that draws people in & makes them want to listen. Thank You, for hearing my comments, hope they help.

  • Marsha - 3 years ago

I never heard of Aaron Rogers before the tryout but thought he was charming, smart, quick witted and personable. He was clearly the best in my opinion. Had the same positives that I always saw in Alex!

Jennings was too fast in speech and had little personality. Ditto for many of the others. My second choice was Mayim and was happy that she got the secondary job. I also am glad that a woman got the job and thought she was clearly the best. The new men and women ask left me bored!

I would have loved to see James H and Austin, the NY bartender, try out to see how would have come across on the other side of the podium! they both demonstrated more personality and humor than the others, save Rogers and Mayim, in my opinion.

BTW, I think the current show, THE CHASE, is dismal and boring and reflects poorly on Jennings, James H and Brad! But I’d like to see how James would come across as MC and I don’t see how you could go wrong with a NY bartender like Austin, who I think stole every jeopardy episode he was on!

  • Joyce - 3 years ago

Joe Buck did an excellent job! Buzzy Cohen and Aaron Rodgers we’re good too. ANYONE but Levar! We changed the channel when he was hosting and won’t watch in the future if he’s part of it. Maybe Keep looking if Joe or Buzzy or Aaron aren’t available?

  • Debbie - 3 years ago

I would like Robin Robert's or someone use to talking on TV. What about the person Alex said the female reporter.
Not Levar Burton. He does not keep my attention nor does his comments of that's right nor his excitement of being there does not make him relatable. He is not proper choice.

  • Suzann - 3 years ago

I liked several of the guests I know Ken Jennings is a favorite but I find him somewhat arrogant, maybe because he's so smart and knows it. I liked Buzzy Cohen and David Faber. Whoever you choose should be younger and down to earth. ALEX grew into his role and evolved over time you need someone with his values and dedication to the job.

  • Kathy S - 3 years ago

Why do people keep saying pick someone that's most like Alex? Alex is gone. Although everyone loved him, the new host should have their own personality while still being a good fit. The person who did that best was Aaron Rogers. He's intelligent, has a great sense of humor, reacts very well with the contestants and in my humble opinion had no negatives at all when he guest-hosted. From what I read, he worked very hard in preparing for the guest hosting job. I think he's the perfect choice. Also, the voice is so important. We hear this person's voice throughout the entire show reading every answer on the board which is why Ken Jennings is a terrible pick. I cannot listen to Ken Jennings voice for more than 1 minute. Go back and listen to Aaron Rodgers voice. It's perfect. He was laid-back enough to not make the show be about him. He let it be about the contestants and had great interaction with all of them. I think he was exceptional during his two-week hosting gig. Please consider him again.

  • JM - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings from the git go.

  • Ricardo Bautista - 3 years ago

Who among all the candidates are spotlessly clean ???...why was the name of Mike Richards off the list when he is the only one who makes you feel the presence of Alex T still on the show. Regardless of Mike resigning the public should be allowed the clamor as to who they prefer is BEST without limits of choice. Mike is not Barabas !!!!!

  • Richard Leong - 3 years ago

    I nominate Neil Degrassi Tyson!

  • DeDeR - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings! I like LeVar Burton as host of Reading Rainbow and in Star Trek, but he just isn’t cut out to be the Jeopardy host.

  • Karen Porcello - 3 years ago

    Brooke Burns would be awesome!!!!

  • Rudy - 3 years ago

Mike Richards definitely had the ability to maintain the show. Lavar just didn't have the right personality for hosting, if I had to listen to him say, yes! Again and again, I wouldn't watch my favorite show.

  • Randy - 3 years ago

    Brook Burns

  • Patricia B Thomas - 3 years ago

Arron Rogers!!!! He , in my opinion, was a great host. He has personality, can interact very well with the contests and keep the audience interested

  • MMH - 3 years ago

I was really hoping Lavar would do well but he was a disaster! Way too many mistakes and he hesitated too many times. He talked to the adults as if he were talking to children. Couldn't watch after two shows. I loved Dr. Gupta!! He was great. I like Ken Jennings but I think he needs to slow down a wee bit when talking. Other than that,
he would be great. Aaron Rodgers was totally boring and I don't think I watched more than two shows with him. Mayim was good but I don't know, something about her that I don't think she would hold my interest enough to keep watching.
Buzzy Cohen was very good. Not sure who gets my vote other than Dr. Gupta but please NO to Lavar and Aaron.

  • J.M. - 3 years ago

NOT Levar Burton. I will stop watching if he hosts. He was terrible at the role.

  • Carolyn Curtis - 3 years ago

Please, no more guest hosts. Not all over again. Pick from those already viewed. Ken Jennings is the logical choice. Buzzy was good as well. No already established personalities, such as Mayim. The specials were a good part of the original. Like Price is Right they just went from Bob to Drew. No guest hosts. Tired of guest hosts. Need to get back to continuity. I've watched since Art Fleming. You are degrading Jeopardy with this guest host side show. Ken or Buzzy are my choices. Let's get this show moving. Poor Alex, he must be appalled at this disarray.

  • Joe Dakota - 3 years ago

Anybody but Mayim Bialik or Lavar Burton. Both tried so very hard, but were terrible hosts. Both put on plastic smiles and acted like they were a shoo in.

Alex suggested two replacements. Since he knew the position better than anyone, maybe his suggestions should be considered.

  • Christina - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings all the way! Alex gave him hosting advice which suggests he had Alex’s blessing therefore he has my blessing and he did a great job hosting! LaVar was not a good host and made several mistakes.

  • Marietta Womack - 3 years ago

No! To Lavar Burton. His style worked great for kids shows. Did not like him at all for Jeopardy!

  • Marla D - 3 years ago

On the sad withdrawal of Mike Richards:” Let him who is without sin cast the first stone”

  • Nate Jablonski - 3 years ago

Honestly, most of them would be fine.
My objections are Oz and Couric (both did poorly), and anyone over 65 (even if they're otherwise great, I don't want to go through this again too soon).
My preference is Aaron Rodgers, but that's the Vikings fan in me hoping he leaves Green Bay.

  • Mark Brown - 3 years ago

Never heard of this David Faber guy, but he's perfect. He's got the timing down pat, and doesn't waste time explaining every answer. Good conversation with the contestants during the meet you segment. I can't believe he's only at 6% on this poll. I thought LeVar Burton was one of the worst guest hosts, but that's just me. Another great host was Robin, unfortunately she already has a job. But bottom line, I really hope Ken Jennings gets it. Obviously the best choice of all.

  • Jeff Feller - 3 years ago

Mayim Bialik or David Faber....wonderful hosts..
1st choice 2nd choice Gupta or Robert's. Can't imagine them having time but wow they're genuine classy smoothness was a pleasure.

  • Jeff Feller - 3 years ago

David Faber seemed on point. Sincere and in the back round .Gave all contestants space to shine..
Gupta or Robin Robert's were point perfect. If only they would take the job. THE woman M Byolistock( I can't spell) was a joy. Mr Burton was trying too hard. .nooo thank you. I feel bad for him because he wants it so badly but nooo.oh BTW Ken J he's great for napping.sorry

I'm sick of the comments, "I'll stop watching if Levar Burton is chosen." No one exhibited Alex Trebek's style and grace. Keep that in mine. I like Dr. Gupta, but don't think he'll leave his day job. At the end of the day long time Jeopardy fans will continue to watch the show!

LEVAR BURTON ! Please pick LeVar.

Alex Trebek picked Betty White, to succeed him, she's too old, Mayim Bialik did a fantastic job, intelligent, professional, Neuroscientist, advocate of mentally ill, actor, director, author, IQ 140+, pleasant personality, esp toward contestants, kept game on focus, pronunciation well versed, dressed professional, not anti- feminism, which Alex would have wanted. She is attractive, but not flirty, She was chosen 2nd to host prime time specials & College tournaments, would do very well. She gets my VOTE!!!

Buzzy Cohen and Ken Jennings did the best. I can't believe that people actually think that LeVar Burton did so well when he actually did so bad. We don't need any more guest hosts. Even Joe Buck did a great job. Super friendly.

Now lets all keep rooting for Matt Amodio who has to experience all these guest hosts. I hope he has kept winning in the first two weeks into Season 38....which would end up being two weeks worth of Mike Richards hosting Jeopardy!
