Yes, have watched every season. I am in total agreement with the winner. And basically, coral was 2nd place, also agreed. Chasity? No way, she's a red carpet designer and will do well, she already has a brand, she will go far, she doesn't need the project runway win. What some of you are missing, is that the producers & editors chop up the show, so you only think Christian gave her the most advice, you only think chasity dissed Christian, etc etc. Aaron? Nope, not good enough sorry.

Chastity or Coral should’ve won, their collection was wearable I can’t see anybody wearing anything that Chantel made to any place the only thing she did nice was that black sheath dress

I am 77 and have never missed the main Project Runway since it began. I didn't record the after hrs and accessories etc spinoffs. I did not care for Shantall's work (not Chantal as some above would spell it)..The Hovercraft "risk" was stupid...so what? I liked the Mexican themed work by Coral...yes, a lot of Macrame but also the zipper items were well made and unique.... Tommy Hilfiger was a poor choice of guest judge---He ran his mouth incessantly and I agree with commenters above that sheer commerciality was not the key--a key but not THE key...It was funny when Brandon suggested that he, Tommy, kick in 3/4 of a mill so all could develop their lines--his face fell..ha ha...me? Wait, you never said I would be asked for a donation...pretty funny.
So another year rolls by...I am sure all of these women will be able to leverage this appearance into something great for themselves...you can do it! And Chastity--get on it with creating the red carpet looks--Tommy might have been on to something there.

Christian gave Chantal too much advice. She is a good designer but without his constant mentoring, I doubt she would’ve won!

The judges got it right - Shantall was my favorite from about 2/3 through the season. It seemed like the other designers turned against her, possibly due to her success. Kristina was especially unkind, especially since it was her fault Shantall was eliminated by the judges (Kristina’s awful design put their team in the bottom but Kristina had immunity). Coral would have been my second choice! I did not like Kristina’s big flower at all.
Lillly .B - 3 years ago
Shantal was amazing ! Great eye for design and style and much class .. Chasity was great ! For costume wear only ..she let the sequins go to her head . And that vibe was so 2000s . Coral was great as well I just wish she would had NOT made evey piece in her macrame .. And Kristina was hot in the beginning of the competition . She had great pieces but I agree with judges 100 percent her clothes are not for everyone ..And I was not happy of the flower print at all ...They are all talented women and should be very proud of themselves ! And the judges ROCK .

I think the judges got it right...Shantall should and did win...and to think that she was eliminated and saved by Christian, he could see she was a great designer...Coral was a close second for me...and I was pleased to see four women in the finale...all four designers were worthy...Nina did say she wished she could split the prize among them...really great season...

Wrong winner! no offense but I could see Rose and Blanche in thaws from the Golden Girls…nobody today..she was to stick from her heritage..Coral or chasity should have won..The other girls clothes reminded me of ole stiff neck housewives.

While I believe all were good designers, I think Shantall's garments were ill fitting and I wondered what real woman would ever wear them. I felt that her black dress that the judges made such a big deL about looked like a pattern that anyone could have bought from a Vogue catalog a Joann Fabrics. Granted some of her techniques were interesting most women aren't 6 Ft. Tall. Chastity made lovely pieces but didn't show enough diversity. I loved most of Coral's work until it was too much of an arts and crafts project. I wasn't a huge fan of Christina until the finale when I think she really came through with soft and hard edges and beautiful finishes. I'm with many of you about the judges. Last year I said I wouldn't watch this year because of who won and yet my love of being a seamstress and fashion won out and I watched anyway. Leave Tommy Hilfinger off next year. Bring back Tom and Heidi

IMO the judges were not fair. If the decision is based on the overall best designs presented in that specific fashion show (as they did all season long when deciding who stays and who goes), then Coral was the clear forerunner for her fresh ideas, quality of clothing, relatable, and wearable options for a variety of occasions. I loved Kristina's florals and the flow of her clothes. Very wearable and comfortable regardless of your size. What is more commercially viable than appealing to women of all shapes and sizes? And Chasity's clothes were beautiful though she would have benefited from mixing in wearable day and evening options vs. all special occasion looks. While I agree that Shantall is an amazing designer, the collection she showed in the finale was not the most appealing of the four presented. I loved her black and white pieces but everything else came off too boxy, stiff and uncomfortable. And what was all the fuss over Shantall's one seam black dress? It looked like your average night gown only with one back strap instead of two. Definitely don't agree with Tommy Hilfiger's comments about the cut outs and snake motif being repeatable for years and years to come. Personally, I don't know a lot of women who are fans of snakes. As Nina said, I would buy Coral's white and red outfit, her black leather jacket and several of her other pieces and look fabulous doing so. Too bad Elaine voice and vote was missing. Perhaps we would have seen a more just outcome.

Can't understand WHY? Shantel kept getting a lot of help & directions, ideas, & over abundance guidance from Sariano...
He was going out of his way to help her!! She even thanked him for "making it happen "...the judges Lit Up!!..every time!! When asking Shantel about her designs!!..they're not good judges..
Chasity..should have won!!

Coral should of won!!!! Shantell’s designs were ok if you were built like a box or maybe was going to appear on a old episode of Golden Girls

That were all worthy in my opinion. It’s great to see fashion really becoming global.

Shantall for the win.
The most commercial and Beautiful collection out of all of them. The judges got it right.

Shantall was the correct choice to win this season. IMO she won the season with her black cocktail stirrer creation. That was incredible. I liked the floral prints and the feel of Kristinas show, a few of Corals clothes ( not the macrame pieces ) but I was never a fan of Chastity’s clothing, except for the one early in the season with the blk and white floral and pleated collar, which at that time made me want to see more of her work. She has talent but needs to grow. I’m glad I watched this season after having taken a break from it for a few. Loved Tim Gunn, but Christian is a much better mentor and he gives the designers excellent advice.

Bones should have won.

The best moment of the show in my opinion was the Coco R. episode when Chastity was being interviewed and she said, “Thank you, exit.” Priceless call back to the scene with Anna in the unconventional challenge.
Priscilla - 3 years ago
I chose Chantal before the announcement. I liked her designs several episodes before today’s finale.
I was hoping she would be the winner. Good luck to her

It was a competition between Shantall and Coral. Chastity and Kristina were also good, and deserved to be in the finale, but they weren't as accomplished as the other two. Shantall, from her first challenge, was the clear winner. Yet , I feel that all four talented women will achieve success in their fashion journey. Congratulations to all of them. P. S. Coral's mother looked truly shocked by the beautiful designs created by her daughter. She didn't realize her talent.
Sandi - 3 years ago
Tommy Hilfiger's comments were absurd, totally focused on commerciality, as if a designer is going to keep showing the same collection year after year. He knows better than anyone that runway shows are meant to be aspirational, and often the product that follows in the stores, and what sells, has a limited relationship to what came down the runway.
Queen - 3 years ago
Chastity won many challenges, why would she not deserve to be there?
She made some beautiful pieces and I hope the celebs reach out to her.
Shantell did great
Amber - 3 years ago
Coral’s collection was amazing!!! Most cohesive, current, creative, & innovative. Even the contestants gave her a standing ovation. She should have won! Tommy Hilfiger was the wrong judge. I respect his legacy, but his fashion is out of date and in discount stores. He was not the right fit
Ome Bee - 3 years ago
The correct winner was chosen! Coral will get a deal with Michael's, Home Depot or Lowe's, OVER USED CRAFT DESIGNS, ARE NOT FASHION, she designs plant holders for the porch. Chasity should have never made it to final "3" but Bravo was afraid of backlash for not being woke. Kristina's prints were great but she got lost in them. Shantal was the correct choice.

Chasity didn’t win because she is slated to be a designer for celebs & big events! Let’s be honest Project Runway doesn’t want to see a person of color let alone a female person of color go down the same path as Christian who oh wait designs for A list Celebs & oh yeah Red Carpet Events!!! The only thing Project Runway did right this season was have more diversity regarding the designers! I personally wish Heidi Klum & Tim Gunn would come back! The show has gone downhill ever since those 2 left!!
Carbar - 3 years ago
I thought Chasity was good, but her indecisiveness & lack of confidence got on my nerves. She was my 2nd favorite, but her designs weren't for everyday wear. ITA with Hilfiger in that she's more slated for celebs & big events. Overralll I think the Judges got it right winner w/ Chasity 2nd.
