Hannity ALONE!!! I don't enjoy the DUMBOCRATS ungodly views and turn the channel anyway when they are given time. A good Republican KNOWS their view already, homosexuals, baby killers,!! I had rather Hannity use the next 4 years to EDUCATE the wayward Independents and Republicans on the RIGHT VIEW*** and build on it so we can WIN in 2012! And good riddance Colmes!!!

  • Nutty - 15 years ago

    Seriously, I like Carvelle.

  • Nutty - 15 years ago

    How 'bout Rosie O'Donald?

  • Matt - 15 years ago

It doesn't matter who fills Colmes role. Hannity will continue to try to talk over them and spout nonsense until commercial so that he appears like he is correct or that he won't back down. Hannity cannot accept reality. What a joke.

  • rodlang - 15 years ago

Kirsten Powers is a moderate democrat and so is Harold Ford, Jr. Not sure they would contrast enough with Hannity but I respect both of them. If they want more fireworks, go with someone like Estrich, a true liberal. Maybe Juan Williams, if he wants the gig.

  • Matt - 15 years ago

It should be Bill Ayers and Hannity. It would be great to see Hannity eviscerated by a man who towers over him intellectually. The irony would be too much.

  • Workin' Now - 15 years ago

Would love the show to be named "Hannity 'n Powers". But I like Juan Williams as a replacement.

  • frances williams - 15 years ago

Thank goodness Alan is GONE!!!!!!!!!!!! How about just having a liberal guest. I have mute on my TV and that is what I did when Alan talked and that is wonderful......

  • Sarah - 15 years ago

I think Juan Williams would be great with Hannity.

  • Ed - 15 years ago

I am a conservative and enjoy Sean taking on the debate against the left, so no solo for me. A strong woman would give the show a new dynamic. Colmes became too whinny for me. I vote Estrich with her annoying voice and all. Both have good chemistry together. I see her bringing the best out of Sean and there will be lots of material as Obama/Hillary increase in power.

  • Bill - 15 years ago

Susan Estrich would add a level of excitement to the debate that was sadly missing from Alan. She would have no problem taking on Sean. I vote for Susan

  • Lurker - 15 years ago

I want a real lefty loudmouth co-hosting with Hannity so I don't have to hear anymore liberal whining about the person being a lightweight DINO compared to Hannity.

    I vote Donahue

  • Robert Johnson - 15 years ago

    Hannity and Who Cares!!!!!

    Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

    I don't watch the crybaby's show anyway!

More Power to a real President. Mr. Obama!!!

  • ED - 15 years ago

    James Carvelle hands down, Hannity&Carvelle?

  • ED - 15 years ago

    James Carvelle hands down, Hannity&Carvelle?

  • ED - 15 years ago

    James Carvelle hands down, Hannity&Carvelle?

  • Big Al - 15 years ago

Make it an all conservative show: Hannity & Levin. 2 conservative hosts taking on liberal guests. Mark Levin can personally throw them out of the studio.

Get Off The Phone, You Big Dope!!!!

    LEVIN RULES!!!

  • T. Jones - 15 years ago

James Carville!!! What a ratings upset for all of tv! Would push each other's buttons and he would challenge Hannity to be even better the next 4 years. Think about the Carville's connection to the Clinton adminstration. What change? Lot's of laughs too! Go Sean!

  • Chris - 15 years ago

Hannity & Boortz, would the be a better show to infuriate the liberals?

  • Jimmie - 15 years ago

John McCain He is the left biggest fan

  • JOhn - 15 years ago

Ellis Henican would be an amazing choice!!

I almost never agree with him, but he always has firm reasoning and facts to back up his opinions. He'd be a great choice.

One issues: he might make hannity look an idiot - Ellis has a tendancy to get under people's skin :/

Definitely need more choices that what this list shows...

PS - Alan is one of the most reasonable people on fox - it really sucks Fox News is losing people capable of rational thought... Everything seems to be becoming very much emotional based. Britt Hume for Glenn Beck?! Hardcore news for cometary?!

  • Brad - 15 years ago

I'm no liberal, but I'd like to see Kirsten replace Colmes... she's pretty smart, isn't full of Reid/Pelosi rhetoric and she's HOT! I'd actually have a reason to watch the show EVERY night.

  • Debra Fitzwater - 15 years ago

You cant get back what was original. So dont try it. Let Sean go the show alone. HECK, everyone knows hes the best on the show anyway. Create a new and improved show. For instance. Explain wha ta Liberal really is, a true and realiztic view. Give a fair balanced view of who they really are and what shaped their lives. What made them the liberal individuals they are and then then explain to the American people why in the world these liberal thinkers would have come to some of the non rational conclusions they do. It would make for a interesting show. Educate our public and give the other networks something the expand their programming on.

  • Brian - 15 years ago

Kirsten Powers!?!?!? pleeeeease... she is ice cold! An empty chair has more personality. lol I'd like to see Hannity just by himself. This way, if the dems put the "fairness doctrine" in place, he will still have a forum to himself to get the conservative viewpoint across.

  • Marcus - 15 years ago

Harold Ford, Jr.! Harold Ford, Jr.! Harold Ford, Jr.!

He's too good for Sean though. He'll pwn Sean in every debate!

  • dolan - 15 years ago

Powers would be best choice. Worse would be Beckels.

  • Lupus - 15 years ago

    Randi Rhodes

  • Rick - 15 years ago

Sean should host the program by himself. He has proven his worthiness & accountability and can debate any liberal admirably. He will do well in the ratings & remain at the top of Fox News. Please DO NOT put Susan Estridge on the program! She is shrill & obnoxious, grates on people, and is not at all professional like Alan Colmes. The bottom line is she would bring the ratings way down & ruin the show. I know many people who feel this way, and cannot stand to watch or listen to her. Kirsten would be 100 times better. Anyway, go Sean! It will be great, regardless!

  • Chris - 15 years ago

haha.. the only way this show will be interesting and not totally one sided is if franken gets the spot. but hopefully he's in the senate instead

  • Yelena - 15 years ago

I hope its not Bob Beckel,he is anoying.

  • Karen - 15 years ago

I'm just really glad that Allen is going!!!!!!!!! I often decided not to watch because he is a light-weight in debating and really was obnoxious much of the time.

  • Joe - 15 years ago

It has come that Alan can go be with Keith Oberman. They would make a good couple.

  • lINDA sLAVJK - 15 years ago

Forget about Kirsten Powers and DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT BOB BECKEL!! I can hardly stand him once in a while. Just leave shawn on the show by himself, he is the greatest!! He can pick his own libral gust and then demolish them!!!

    Linda

  • David - 15 years ago

Since it won't be Franken, Ed Schultz is the best choice.

***This poll really needs to include Ed Schultz.***

Franken would never do it unless he was guaranteed equal time and equal guest booking rights. Hannity is WAY too insecure to ever allow the liberal side to have equal time or guests. Colmes was never permitted equal time or guest booking equality, nor would any new liberal foil.

I very much doubt Fox will choose anyone. I just can't see them risking a non-pushover in that role. If they do decide to actually replace Colmes, they'll only do so if then can find another weak willed, milquetoast "liberal" like Colmes.

Hannity doesn't have the stones to up go against an Ed Schultz or Al Franken, night after night. They'd call his lies too often and too strenuously. Only Hannity is allowed to do that on his show.

  • Matt - 15 years ago

I agree that Henican is the best choice. He's a left wing loon who will spark more intense debate and allow Sean to shine even more brightly. The Far Left may be drawn to the show and actually learn something, other than the price of Palin's clothes or Obama's visits to all '57' states.

  • jack fisherkeller - 15 years ago

he should have a series of liberal commentators ... doing 1 or two week stints ...It would also tick off MSNBC and their goofs to no end when Sean and any Lib creams them

  • Mary Boni - 15 years ago

Ellis Henican is a reptile. He's all for the PC crowd that wants to liberalize the whole country and obliterate traditional values. He's strident, confrontational and obnoxious. In short, he would be an excellent replacement for the milque-toast Alan Colmes, who didn't have the constitution to match
Sean Hannity's expressive debate skills. Beckel's a dinosaur and Powers belongs on E! Network. Hannity needs a left-wing equal to make the debate more interesting. Henican's your man and it really hurts to say that.

    Mary Boni

  • Kelly - 15 years ago

If Kristin was Sean's co-host I would quit watching the show. I am so sick of Liberal rhetoric...I would like to see Sean with limited Liberal guests and I would love it if used a portion of his time keeping us updated on the troops and all the good things they do that we never hear about!!!

  • mr bad example - 15 years ago

i'd like to see james carville replace colmes.

  • SweetPea_USA - 15 years ago

Al Franken - PLEASE NO! He needs no publicity or airtime; he's on the Sorros agenda to seize America.

Susan Estrich? Please -- her voice...I realize she can't help how she sounds but neither can I keep my ears from bleeding when she talks...

How about David Carvell? (sp?) But he's pretty obnoxious. Hmm..most the liberal pundits are obnoxious...

Don't cave in for a woman just cuz she's pretty (as one of the previous posters infers)...go for content please

...that is...if you MUST choose a side kick...You'd do better in my book if you went solo but featured guests of differing sides. Perhaps you can inject some VIGOR into the format: don't do the same old same old trite format...do something DIFFERENT so you can CATCH the attention of a somewhat younger audience....you already got we middle-agers, baby boomers, and seniors...

    Love ya Hann the Man...

  • Charles - 15 years ago

After thinking about it would be nice to see a nice looking lady on the show.
SHE CAN STAND UP TO HANNITY, but be fair as well.

  • dean toney - 15 years ago

Sean you suffer from alan colminituss, you have 2 ears but 1 mouth... listen and respond in kind. I have always thougth Kirsten would be benefitial in helping a meaningful dialogue, providing an honest and earneat exchange. Jaun would be meaningful also but you need to shut the hedoublehockysticks up, listen and respond to what is said. That was Alans biggest problem... he ask but never listened!

  • dean toney - 15 years ago

  • Jim - 15 years ago

I'd like to see Kirsten Powers. I don't agree with her politically, but she's not hard to look at!

  • freeb - 15 years ago

Kirsten is exceptionally smart, defends the liberal viewpoint, but with common sense. I found myself agreeing with her almost as much as I disagree with her.

  • ADRIAN - 15 years ago

WHY NOT JUAN WILLIAMS. HE IS LIBERAL ENOUGH YET HE AND SEAN SEEM TO HAVE A MUTUAL RESPECT FOR EACH OTHER. I THINK IT WOULD BE GREAT!!

  • JuanPablo - 15 years ago

You gotta get Neal Boortz. Really! I'm serious!! Neal Boortz is not only entertaining but he has this 'gift' of being able to tear-up the Democrats and other Libs, PLUS a no-holds-barred ripping apart those wayward so-called Republicans such as the RINOs.
The DemocRATS and those RINO-type 'Republicans' absolutely despise Neal Boortz because of the unrelenting way he verbally rakes them over the coals.
Heck -- even some of his fellow Libertarians get raked-over by him, for many good Right-leaning reasons! Neal Boortz is NOT a shill for, nor beholden to ANY political party. Get Neal Boortz NOW!!!

  • APPMAN - 15 years ago

    Why not unembalm Algore?

He'd make a terrific host as, after all, he invented "Talk Radio" back in 1966!

  • joe jesionowski - 15 years ago

shawn pick someone you think you could hannitiesed.powers might go for palin in 12 buy her a treadmill.

  • Marco DeGay - 15 years ago

My vote is for Patrice O'Neal - funniest guest on his show. Linger longerr....

  • Mike - 15 years ago

Juan Williams is an excellent choice. If Hannity has a female co-host he might not be as loose with humor as he is with Colmes. Anyway, the Democrats would object to Kirsten Powers or any other woman as their voice on Hannity and ????? because they made it clear during this past election season that women don't belong in national politics.

  • Sue - 15 years ago

I really have no idea of who can replace Allan Colmes, but to keep the show "fair and balanced" I guess they have to have someone in Allans place. It will be different though....12 years of the Duo is hard to make changes. Please NOT Kirsten....she is too snooty for my liking.

  • Becky from SC - 15 years ago

ANYONE but Kirsten!!! What about The Rev... Al Sharpton...I think he would be very entertaining!

  • Jan - 15 years ago

    Please, 'o, please no Beckell!

  • Douglas R Kammerer - 15 years ago

Kristen Powers would be the best choice. Even though she is liberal she is not annoying as Bob Beckel or Susan Estridge.

  • JR - 15 years ago

Poor ol Alan. I have to say --- Thank Heavens he will be gone. Please not Ellis or Bob. Especially Ellis since he is so obnoxious. I trust Sean's choice.

  • Bob - 15 years ago

Alan is probably a nice guy but he was bringing a knife to a gun fight when it came to debate. Howard Wolfson or Beckel would be good.

  • The Wheelman - 15 years ago

    How about Glenn Beck? Haha

  • Big John - 15 years ago

Kirsten Powers is the obvious choice. Beckell is a blow hard. Kirsten is intellegent, rational, reasonable, and professional - and she's much better looking than Colmes and Beckel. Furthermore, I think she has earned the post over the years by demonstrating her ability to have a serious debate without screaming, yelling, and interruptions.

  • Larry Siegle - 15 years ago

I have enjoyed the debate between the two of you through the years and certainly his presence on the show will be missed. As a Obama-Republican, I believe it will be in the best interest of your format to have someone beside you that will maintain the balance, someone who is an equal, someone that those who are more liberal would respect. It is a shame that Keith from MSNBC or Rachel is not available, they would be great! I voted for Reagan in 1980 and voted Republican in every election since that time until 2008. I believe that Conservatives need a "make-over" and to reinvent themselves in a new and fresh package for voters as a viable alternative. I respected the service of McCain, but thought that if we were paying for a "liberal-moderate" we should get the "real thing" in Obama. He is our President and we must respect the office and be as supportive as we can be and to disagree respectfully when we need to.

  • KO - 15 years ago

Just Give Hannity his own show - Like Huckabee - You have enough Liberal time already - and the only reason I watch H&C - is for Hannity; Otherwise, i tune out the liberals - and it would be nice to just have one show -that i can watch - without having to click on and off during an episode. Give Sean his own program - and let him do what he does best!

Tired of Liberal Rabid Propaganda on TV
    Thanks
    GA Viewer

  • Helen Nicola - 15 years ago

Thank you FOX for letting Colmes go. He was soooooo annoying. He would ask a question and wouldn't shut up and let the person answer. He's a very rude person, but then so are most liberals.

  • Eric - 15 years ago

Just about anyone with a room temperature IQ would do--It's Hannity were talking about here. Sean could even do his "Hannity's America"solo, it is after all a place nobody really wants to live.

  • HJ - 15 years ago

Buh bye, Alan. I've enjoyed watching H&C the past 12 years, but have to admit I've grown real tired of Alan. Kirsten would be okay. JUST NO BOB (I'll-write-a-check-to-my-hookers) BOECKLE, PUH-LEASE!! And no scratchy man-voice Susan (Smokin' & Drinkin') Estrich. Carville would be a hoot.

  • Sarah - 15 years ago

Thank goodness Alan is leaving! I jumped for joy when I heard that!! I love Hannity and couldn't take much of Colmes! He's just annoying and has no clue what comes out of his mouth! I say Hannity goes solo like O'Reilly and Glenn Beck. I won't watch anything but Fox Nexs if that happens!!!

  • rebecca - 15 years ago

No, that Kirsten is way too much of a light weight...

    Get Alec Baldwin!!!!

  • Mack - 15 years ago

Kirsten Powers would be an AWESOME as the co-host!! She is a breath of fresh air, and works very well with Sean. Fox needs a woman who can contend with the conservative male line-up in this kind of format, and kp has proven herself. I notice that all my friends want to watch when she is co-hosting. She is civil, direct, and passionate.

Alan did well, now let's let women have a voice in the debate.

  • Ryan - 15 years ago

Come on Sean! Pick STEVE YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STEVE YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://steveyoungonpolitics.com

Check his site out and tell him if he should be drafted to replace Holmes!

One last time, a true Liberal underground hero!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check his site out and let Sean know..

Hannity and Young, Hannity and Young, Hannitty and Young ( sounds like a law firm or an amazing comedy act or a Super Duper Knock out Conservative vs Liberal Slug fest! WHAT RATINGS!!!!! Fox Are you listening??

  • Ryan - 15 years ago

Come on Sean! Pick STEVE YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STEVE YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://steveyoungonpolitics.com

Check his site out and tell him if he should be drafted to replace Holmes!

Steve is a proud Liberal and a contender! Former Stand up comic, owner of comedy club and smart enough to know his facts and tough enough to stand behind his words.

  • katkat - 15 years ago

None of the above. How about someone new.
We've heard all of these contenders' views and arguments.
    Need someone fresh.
    Do a "lib search".

  • Ryan - 15 years ago

Come on Sean! Pick STEVE YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STEVE YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://steveyoungonpolitics.com

Check his site out and tell him if he should be drafted to replace Holmes!

What can I say...Steve is my dad! I'm biased...but I'm actually more conservative then he is...Have us both on the show :>

    Ryan Y.
Social Worker, Husband and Father of an autistic daughter and proud american

  • i love kirsten powers - 15 years ago

Kirsten Powers obviously...I've always thought she would be even BETTER than Alan Colmes cuz shes not afraid to take on conservatives. check out the video of her and ann coulter on the afghanistan war on youtube its amazing

  • Ryan - 15 years ago

Come on, Steve has charisma, humor, intelligence and humility...he's like Rocky to you as APollo Creed! He knows the issues, he's not afraid to challenge but also respectful enough to not hit with any low blows.

Draft Steve Young...check out his site and vote for him Come on Sean! Pick STEVE YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STEVE YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://steveyoungonpolitics.com

Check his site out and tell him if he should be drafted

  • matt - 15 years ago

I think Ellis Henican is an effective foil. I never agree with him, but he's a strong debater. I believe Fox needs Hannity to have a partner on the show to continue to argue 'balanced' points of view...Hannity is surely a strong personality.

  • Ryan - 15 years ago

Come on Sean! Pick STEVE YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STEVE YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://steveyoungonpolitics.com

Check his site out and tell him if he should be drafted to replace Holmes!

  • Ryan - 15 years ago

Come on Sean! Pick STEVE YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STEVE YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://steveyoungonpolitics.com

Check his site out and tell him if he should be drafted to replace Holmes!

  • Michel - 15 years ago

Kirsten Powers defintiely. I am mad that u are even considering Susan Estrich. While I like her and all for being a big Hillary supporter, she is the worst debater I've ever seen on TV.

  • Melanie - 15 years ago

I'm beside myself to find Alan is finally making his exit and relieved he will finally be gone. We stopped watcing H&C for quite some time because of Alan. Anybody, except Beckel, will be better than Alan anyday.

  • Lorna - 15 years ago

KIRSTEN POWERS IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN FILL ALAN'S SHOES. FNC, DONT SCREW THIS UP. PLEASE PICK POWERS!

Hannity and Powers. It even sounds good!

  • Dan - 15 years ago

    JAMES CARVILLE...........PLEASE....

I'm a big time conservative, but I really do enjoy listening to Carville debate. Unlike most liberals, Carville is not afraid to smile, laugh, and have a little fun when debating conservatives.

  • Marlee - 15 years ago

Elizabeth Hasselbeck would be a perfect co-host for Sean. Please Please not Al Franken!!

  • k grn - 15 years ago

I think Susan is incredibly smart and witty. She also has a good sense of humor. We can do better than 5% for Susan!

  • Dina Rosa - 15 years ago

Please just have Sean Hannity with liberal guests. Not only do I not want to look at any liberal for too long, but they use us to get popular and repay you with a knife in your back!!!!!

Forget giving another liberal a full-time job. They never do it for us! Enough is enough. Only guest liberals every night.

  • Lulu - 15 years ago

I will not be watching if Al Franken were to be chosen!!!

  • Eric - 15 years ago

It needs to be someone who is intelligiant and can challenge the right wing that is not fake...a hard hitting liberal

  • LadyTundra - 15 years ago

I would like to see Susan Estrich become Seans new counter part.

  • Earl - 15 years ago

    Elisabeth Hasselbeck would be perfect.

  • decman - 15 years ago

    I vote for Ed Schultz

  • Tom - 15 years ago

I have always appreciated Kirsten. I may not agree a lot of the time but at least she is reasonable on some issues and does more than hold the daily Democrat talking points in one hand and recite the daily mantra regardless of issue. She would be a 1000% improvement over Colmes.

In the name of all above do not even consider the reprehensible Harold Ford Jr. Since moving to Memphis a few years ago so help me I will never ever ever watch any member of this politically corrupt family. I could not get past the stench even for Hannity. For heavens sake has anyone at FOX even looked up the history of the Fords in Memphis prior to even considering a member of this family. Hint you can find his uncle in Federal Prison for accepting bribes. That is only the beginning of this group.

  • Marilyn Peterson - 15 years ago

I am so glad Alan Colmes is leaving, now maybe I can watch the show, I listen to your radio show, but Alan is too much. Even muting him isn't enough.
thanks for fighting for conservatism, life and our constitution...

  • Sharon - 15 years ago

Berkel is way to costic and very rude. I could over look Alan cuz he was just a dope and put his foot in his mouth very time he opened it. Please let Sean go solo and then have liberals on depending on the news. I guess if I don't like who the network picks I can watch Sean on Sunday nights only, so sad for me. But try him solo for a while and see how it goes. PLEASE Don't try and be PC.

  • Dawn Delaney-Enos - 15 years ago

I find Kirsten Powers too wishy washy to sit opposite Sean- Alan was certainly no match- he framed one question for the night and continually asked it of everyone over and over. Good riddance- get Bob Beckel in there- he's as strong a personality as Sean, even if he is a little brittle and snide sometimes. It would be good to see them spar though. Let Bob invite liberal guests- bring em on- Please not Susan Ehrlich! I can't stand her voice!!!!

  • Claudia - 15 years ago

I really hope that it's not Kirsten. I find her boring to watch and she seems contemptous of intelligent women who don't agree with her. She also doesn't seem to understand the inner workings of her own party. Bob Beckel is the one that is usually right. I like the sparring between Beckel and Hannity. They seem to be able to disagree in a civil manner. Plus they seem to really respect each other.
I have watched this show for years (I even tivo it incase I miss a day). I don't see that continuing if Kirsten is put on as a regular.
If this is to try to get the female viewers, don't bother. I would much rather have Beckel OR just put Hannity on by himself. That would be great too.

  • Mike Stefanko - 15 years ago

Please, and I don't know his whole name, but get Ellis. I don't usually agree with anything he says, but he defends his position well and he makes me laugh.

  • Jeffery - 15 years ago

James Carvelle would make for entertaining TV

  • Lee Nichols - 15 years ago

I suppose we need to hear from both sides of the equasion, but I really wouldn't mind replacing Colms with Glenn Beck. He will be over a Fox New very soon. Then again, the third most listened to host paired up with the second most listen to host, they might cancel each other out.

  • Pat Dwyre Clark - 15 years ago

PLEASE..! Let Sean choose varied liberals, depending on current news and their fields of "expertise". Such fun for him to surprise us with assorted adversaries.

  • Tommie Walker - 15 years ago

I say put on Boortz. The Liberals can just eat dust!!!

  • Janet Farrar - 15 years ago

Kirsten drives me crazy. She would break her face to smile. I am so sick of Bob Beckell He was ALWAYS in your face throughout the campaign.

  • Jared - 15 years ago

    How about Keith Obertman?
