PERVEZ MUSHARRAF IS VERY BOLD PERSON FACE TO FACE NON STOP SPEAKER, LIKED WORLDOVERVERY,
MUST LEAD OUR NATION TO PROSPER,AND BRING GRACE TO OUR BELOVED LAND PAKISTAN.
OFCOURSE HE MUST BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF PAkistan.
the ultimate kanjer of all kanjers is retired kanjer pervaiz musharaf...
we hav not tested imran khan yet, just listened him on media so he sud be given a chance to proof wat he says.
Musharraf was patriotic and was not a currupt person, but the problem with him, that he was laking love of Deen Islam and Prophet SAW, When a person will go with his own, ideas, and will not consult what Islam is saying, he will not get sucesss... In a recent interview, Hameed Gul has revealed that Musharrf was braught by americans and was removed by Americans when he became nonprofitable and unusable for them. Our nation needs leader like Zaid Hamid who has love for Deen Islam, who has courage to fight for the Deen and Pakistan and who is wise enough to let Pakistan get rid of Financial Debt Net created by Zionist bankers

HAMID GUL DID NOT ATTEND HIS MEETING WHERE HE WANTED TO DECIDE APPARENTLY MAKING EVERYONE REALIZE IT WAS A UNANIMOUS DECISION ON 9/11. HE WAS A PLANTED ASSET BY USA JUST BEFORE 9/11. AMERICA DOES NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH DEMOCRACY. THEY HAVE SAID THAT WE CANNOT ALLOW DEMOCRACY IN MUSLIM WORLD OTHERWISE EVERYONE WILL BE AGAINST USA.

Is Pervez Musharraf still relevant in Pakistani politics?
gulf between the PPPP and the PMLN is growing. The PMLN has stayed out of the fray and not joined the PPPP. The increased belligerence of Mr. Nawaz Sharif can only be matched by the exponential increase in the public appearances of former president Pervez Musharraf. The present government is incompetent and has no credibility. The popularity ratings of Mr. Zardari are half that of Mr. Musharraf.
Pervez Musharraf has a great personality and can speak really well. His eloquence can only be matched by his self-confidence. There are no absolutes, but the general consensus is that he is incorruptible and his staff, judging by Pakistanis standards was not corrupt, or not as corrupt as Mr. Zardari or Mr. Sharif. Questions about Pervez Musharraf’s decision on joining America’s war in Afghanistan have pretty much been rebutted by the PPPPs servile acquiescence to the same diktats. Many Pakistanis seriously doubt if the PMLN government will be able to extricate Pakistan from the American bear hug that is hurtling Afghanistan and Pakistan towards a revolution. History will judge Pervez Musharraf kindly. The decade of his rule saw Pakistan progress in many areas. Defense, telecommunication and banking flourished. Agriculture survived and inflation and shortages were kept to a minimum. The astronomical success of the electrification program and the relative affluence accorded to many Pakistan led the way to shortages of food and electricity. The Chasma 2 did not come up to speed fast enough and Kalabagha nd Bhasha remained mired in controversy. The energy crisis was not planned for and in many ways agriculture should have been given more attention.
Of course Pervez Musharraf’s most heinous crime was subversion of the Pakistani constitution. He did it once and his actions were absolved by Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry, the Pakistani parliament, the people of Pakistan and politicians from across the spectrum. His misdeeds were thus institutionalized. The issue of his disregard of the constitution however goes beyond the redemption given to him for his actions against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. In a carefully thought out plan, Pervez Msuharraf was given a strict schedule of two years take off his uniform. The two year window would have allowed him the two years necessary to be “out of office” so that his party could run in the elections and he could be nominated as the president again. In effect his misdeeds would have been “constitutionalized” and the country would have been spared the problems it faces now.
However Pervez Musharraf was buoyed by his foreign visits and propelled by the false sense of security accorded to him by the White House. Sequestered in the cocoon of the presidency he was overwhelmed by the flatterers who insisted that he not take off his uniform. He made his blunder. He did not take off his uniform under the plan worked out for him. He violated the contract with the Pakistani politicians which had carefully crafted his safe passage. He stubbornly refused to take off his uniform. This refusal antagonized the entire spectrum of Pakistani politics–from Imran Khan to The Jamat e Islami to the PML to the ANP. Musharraf had thought that Condaleeza Rice would make him another Hasni Mubarak. The USA had another plan up its sleeve. It wanted a more complaint president in Islamabad. Unknown to him a plan had been hatched to replace him.
He took off his uniform not at the insistence of the Pakistani people, but because of the pressure from the White House. Once he had done that and appointed General Kiyani as the new COAS, the opposition was emboldened. They had tasted blood and would not let go. By not taking off his uniform according to the Pakistani schedule everything went haywire. He was now in violation of other segments of the constitution. He thus ran awry of Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry who had

* Pakistan has addressed issues of survivability in a possible nuclear conflict through second strike capability.
* Pakistan now has deeply buried storage and launch facilities to retain a second strike capability in a nuclear war.
* As the US prepared to invade Afghanistan after 9/11, Pervez Musharraf ordered that Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal be redeployed to ‘at least six secret new locations’.
WASHINGTON: Pakistan has addressed issues of survivability in a possible nuclear conflict through second strike capability, says a US congressional report.
The first part of the report, published on Friday, deals with Islamabad’s efforts to develop new weapons, while the second part studies its strategy for surviving a nuclear war.
According to the report, Pakistan has built hard and deeply buried storage and launch facilities to retain a second strike capability in a nuclear war. It also has built road-mobile missiles, air defences around strategic sites, and concealment measures.
The report prepared by the Congressional Research Service recalls that as the United States prepared to launch an attack on the Afghan Taliban after September 11, 2001, former military dictator Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf ordered that Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal be redeployed to ‘at least six secret new locations.’ This action came at a time of uncertainly about the future of the region, including the direction of US-Pakistan relations. Islamabad’s leadership was uncertain whether the US would decide to conduct military strikes against Pakistan’s nuclear assets if Islamabad did not assist the United States against the Taliban. Indeed, Musharraf cited protection of Pakistan’s nuclear and missile assets as one of the reasons for Islamabad’s dramatic policy shift.
The CRS points out that these events, in combination with the 1999 Kargil crisis, the 2002 conflict with India at the Line of Control, and revelations about the A.Q. Khan proliferation network, inspired a variety of reforms to secure the nuclear complex. Risk of nuclear war in South Asia ran high in the 1999 Kargil crisis, when the Pakistani military is believed to have begun preparing nuclear-tipped missiles.
The report, however, notes that even at the high alert levels of 2001 and 2002, there were no reports of Pakistan mating the warheads with delivery systems.
The CRS refers to a Nov 5, 2007 statement by former prime minister Benazir Bhutto who said that while Musharraf claimed he had firm control of the nuclear arsenal, she was afraid this control could weaken due to instability in the country.
The report then quotes Michael Krepon of the Henry L. Stimson Centre, Washington, as arguing that ‘a prolonged period of turbulence and infighting among the country’s president, prime minister, and army chief’ could jeopardise the army’s unity of command, which ‘is essential for nuclear security.’
During that period between late 2007 and early 2008, US military officials also expressed concern about the security of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons.
Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Mohamed ElBaradei also said he feared that a radical regime could take power in Pakistan, and thereby acquire nuclear weapons.
Experts also worried that while nuclear weapons were currently under firm control, with warheads disassembled, technology could be sold off by insiders during a worsened crisis.
Since then, however, US intelligence officials have expressed greater confidence regarding the security of Islamabad’s nuclear weapons.
The Pakistani military’s control of the country’s nuclear weapons is ‘a good thing because that’s an institution in Pakistan that has, in fact, withstood many of the political changes over the years,’ says Donald Kerr, Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence.
Washington has ‘no reason at this point to have any concern with regard to the security’ of Islamabad’s nuclear arsenal, argues a Pentagon

A.Q today disclosed that Musharraf passed key and very sensitive atomic information to US. We must not get fooled again. this man may seem and talk pakistan first all the time, but he is infact the greaetest threat to pakistan. we must not let him come back. our focus should simple be on a man who is a good muslim and honest to islam and pakistan and who is without allegations.
Go musharraf go, we dont want more blunders and criminals to rule us.

Weapons are allowed to US diplomats during this zardari government. Gen. Musharraf did not allowed such activities by the US deplomats. That is why, he was removed by US.
Previously, Gen. Musharraf was tried to be assassinated two times. And now investigations show that mastermind behind all the suicidal attacks in Pakistan are either RAW or Mosaad.

The US embassy has been found involved in importing sophisticated weapons to Pakistan without the permission and knowledge of the authorities.
The Foreign Office and the Commerce Ministry denied having authorised the US or any other foreign mission to import huge quantity of weapons. However, the fact remains that the US embassy in Islamabad has brought to Pakistan at least two consignments of modern weapons during this year.
The Foreign Office, which is the main coordinating federal agency in any such deal of foreign missions, and the Commerce Ministry, which issues no objection certificates (NoC) for such imports, have no clue as how did and from where the US embassy get the weapons in these two cases uncovered by The News.
In one case, the US embassy imported 30 PKM Machineguns and 25 Barrel Grenade Launchers in a shipment coming from Sofia, Bulgaria. The embassy has not offered any explanation where did these weapons go. The embassy spokesman said that he did not have any information about this.
In the second case, the US embassy has admitted importing automatic weapons for Inter-Risk, the banned local security agency, having security contracts with DynCorp and the US embassy in Islamabad. However, there was no explanation as if the arms were imported or smuggled from Afghanistan.
However, the most intriguing part of this case is that the Deputy Commissioner Office Islamabad did not confirm the provision of even a single weapon by the US embassy to Inter-Risk. Instead, all the weapons registered in the licences issued to Inter-Risk were gifted by a tribal chief of Bannu. It raised the fundamental question about the whereabouts of the weapons that the US admitted to have got for Inter-Risk.
Authorities in Pakistan have now woken up to realise what General Musharraf did to this country and how much liberty he had given to US diplomats and officials at the cost of national security.
Background interaction with officials of the foreign, defence, interior and commerce ministries reveal that the government of Pakistan is absolutely clueless about the quantity of weapons brought to Pakistan by the US embassy. There is also no information with the government that where did these arms go.
Repeated incidents of arms display in public by US diplomats and the red-handed nabbing of Dutch diplomats with weapons and bombs have compelled the Foreign Office to issue a letter to all foreign missions, requesting them to declare the details of the weapons in their possession and get authority letters for the arms they want for security.
Although the letter is issued to all foreign missions and embassies, what is in the mind of the authorities here is the US embassy.
In the meantime, all US officials and diplomats are being made from today (Oct 15) to go through normal airport checks at the Islamabad airport as the government has withdrawn the extraordinary concession offered to them after 9/11 by Pervez Musharraf. Under the concessions, the US officials and their vehicles enjoyed completely unchecked arrivals and departures.
Foreign Office spokesman Abdul Basit and Secretary Commerce Suleman Ghani, when approached by The News, denied to have given any permission to any embassy to import weapons in bulk. Both were of the view that there were cases of individual requests for import of hunting guns etc but there was no permission given for major import of weapons to any embassy.
Ghani said that he had checked the past two years record of the ministry and he did not find any case of the issuance of NoC for large quantity of import of arms by any embassy. The Interior Ministry spokesman, who was asked by this scribe for details on the subject, simply vanished and never came up with the details.
While the FO and the Commerce Ministry are in complete dark, a letter dated March 26, 2009 and signed by Doyle R Babe, Lt-Col of the US embassy, talks of the shipment/transportation of 30 PKM Machineguns and 25 GP-30 4

Pervez musharraf in current scenario and time is the best man to lead this country as he is the only man who has got a dynamic thinking, a vision, policy and a starategy for the nation. Atleast he is a clear headed man who knows what to do unlike all others who give black answer to a white question , i mean if they are asked about peshawar they will tell you about lahore.....we need a man who has the guts to speak to the foreign countries with dignity and rationale.......He was removed by USA as they got annoyed with him ,,because he used extensive money provided by them in developing not only nuclear but plotonium bombs...and enhancement of misile technology also giving latest equipment to all three forces.......the way this man replied to indians now none of the politicians have got the courage to say anything....we must not blatantly hate him if he did a wrong move by removing the chief justice and imposing the emergency rule...as no one can sincerely say that the allegations on the Cj were altogether false, there was truth in it but certainly it was handeled in a poor manner and eventually he faced the consequences......We must look back on his tenure and ask oneself that where Pakistan was going..there was indeed an economic upsurge going on and the common man life standard went up...........................We need to analyse things sincerely with logic.......we dont have to say something just because everyone is saying that as illetracy in our country is high and these innocent people just say , what there minds are induced by those corrupt ,dishonest and immoral politicians................
May Allah bless our country Pakistan..

The hottest topic of the day in the media is Musharraf’s Trial. Pick up any daily or change any tv channel one is bound to find it there one way or the other. The latest is the FIR against him for detaining 60 judges along with their families illegally in their houses for more than five months. One wonders why none of the lordships – and who could know law better than them ?– lodge any habeas corpus petition against their such unlawful detention?! Anyway, legalities apart, there is a strong general perception amongst the masses – both literate as well as illiterate – that the trial owes its hype to either (one) vendetta and the politics of revenge, (two) for diverting the attention of the masses from their more pressing issues of poverty, inflation, unemployment, load shedding etc. and (three) a genuine desire for punishing a usurper to act as a deterrent for any future Bonaparte. If it is contrived for the first two reasons, then it is malafides and cannot be appreciated. However, if it the third alternative and the purpose is to strengthen the democracy and other democratic institutions, then it has the proper justification. Having said that, I cannot help think that will such a trial, if at all takes place, really thwart any future military intervention for all times to come?! I have my serious doubts about it. Wasn’t Article 6 there at the time of Zia’s takeover? As a matter of fact Article 6 was best commented upon by the then MNA Miangul Aurangzeb of Swat to ZAB that its inclusion in the constitution will not stop the military dictator from coming but might delay his departure after taking over. Has section 302 of the PPC pronouncing death sentence for the murderer stopped murders from taking place? I think the only way to stop the military intervention is Good Governance by the politicians. As long as the masses are satisfied no dictator can dare to take over. The mere fact that on every such takeover sweat meats are distributed not only by the common man in the street but also by some of the politicians and the political parties shows that there was something amiss among the persons, politicians and the party ruling the country. Why was the government of BB dismissed by her own party man Laghari? Why was NS government dismissed twice by GIK. Both Laghari and GIK were not military dictators. If the Generals, as most wrongly propagated by the interested, were keen to take over, why did Aslam Beg Mirza not take over on 17th August 1988 when there was nothing – literally nothing - to stop him? Why did Abdul Waheed Kakar not take over himself after giving marching orders both to GIK and MNS? Why did General Jahangir Karamat leave the office of the COAS so willingly, if he didn’t want to? Could he not take over instead of leaving quietly? Why did Asif Nawaz Janjua not takeover in spite of his having not much love lost for the then PM? So, my dear Sirs, as long as the politicians deliver and behave no military dictator will think of taking over. But, if and when, things go awry, masses wronged, internal security endangered and/or God Forbid existence of Pakistan threatened the armed forces will move to safe guard the country against the Internal Threat.

Army’s expression of its honest views over the Kerry Lugar Bill looks to have raised the proverbial storm in a tea cup. It is being given unduly and un-necessary hype by the media, certain politicians and spokesmen. Its portending echoes have been even heard in the White House and the Capitol Hill. Domestically, whereas on the one hand it is said to have aired the voice of the masses, on the other hand it is considered to have crossed the limits. The later view, and how I wish I was wrong, looks to be a dangerous effort of driving once again a wedge between the armed forces and the democratically elected government. There is no doubt that the KLB was discussed in the Corps Commanders’ meeting and like good soldiers they have given their honest opinion taking its all pros and cons into consideration. And, if I recollect correctly, General Kiyani is on record to have said that the outcome of the meeting would be forwarded to the government who is the ultimate authority in this matter. It would, therefore, be the ULTIMATE decision of the government to take whatever action or stance it may for the bill. The army will certainly obey the final decision. For the information of all, during the planning phase for an army operation all participating commanders give their honest and candid views about it. But once an over all plan emerges, of course based on their views, all are duty and honour bound to give their best in its execution even at places where one disagreed with it. That’s the honourable and soldierly way of working for the army. We all expect soldiers not to obey the unlawful command. It is by this process of ‘command participation’, that the orders finally become lawful. Anyone still disagreeing with the final word can always sheath his sword in the scabbard and turn in his tunic, that is; resign and not be a part of it.

In my opinion first of all we must need some selection criteria for the President. From ISLAMIC point of view person should be the practised muslim. We muslim UMMAH basically need LEADER who lead us in all over the world. Unfortunately currently nobody seems appropriate so it is recommended in this forum to pls get attached with some Organization/ Jamat for Islamic Revolution movement and the time comes when Hazrat Mehdi will be identified and we all inshaAllah join him. Dear all,
We have been watching talk shows on different TV channels and different articles in print media and feel sham as a citizen of Pakistan on how our media and so called commentators and intellectuals are supporting and projecting criminals and corrupts as nation's hero and leaders. We all know the crimes and corruptions done by the leadership of our main stream political parties i.e. PPP and PML(N) in power and how they have been lootting the nation wealth for a long time and how they destroyed the institutions in their earlier tenures and doing now, but still you people are advocating for them, projecting them and are busy in image building.
Nawab Bugti who ruled the Balochistan many a times in different capacity, he used to get the gas royality from the governments, but did not spend a penny on welfare of his province or even on his own tribe. He forced his sub tribe men to leave the province who were settled in other parts of the country and returned back only in Musharaf tenure. He was maintaining his own army, millitia fully equipped with latest weapon who was attacking gas pipe lines, electricity lines, law enforcement agencies in order to blackmail the governments for increase in the royality. What he served his own tribe? Now he is being presented by you people and intellectuals as a hero who murdered once he was 15 or 20 years old. He was a man who revolted against each government whehter military or democratic. In fact he was THUG, blackmailer and Decoite who was usurping the roylaty amount of poor people and expending the money on purchase of weapons for his army, who was running liberation army, who did not allow to build schools and hospitals and other basic infrastructure in his area while his own sons were studying in Karachi and aborad. Such an ugly and criminal persons is being presented as a hero and martyre. What a good service our media is providing to us!
We don't have short of memory, all the incidents, crimes and corruption done by our political leadership are in our minds. One attacked on Supreme Court, who was trying to turn himself as Ameerul Momaineen by constitutional amendment, taken money from ISI for IJI against PPP, from Qarz-Utaru Mulk Sanwaro, besides looting the wealth of nation, military operation against elected party i.e. MQM etc. etc. etc. etc., but is our leader and champion of democracy and hero.
The PPP leadership is available in the country only when there is election season or when they are in power. Other than this, they are outside the country and enjoying the life. The Quaid Awam and Qauid Jamohriat Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto's tenure is also crystal clear before us. Who gave the 1973 constitution agreed and signed by all political parties' leadership, but within next two/three months he amended the constitution by throwing the opposition leaders out of the parliament by People Guards and ASF, the opponents leaders and journalists were brutely treated and put behind the bars, during his tenure there was not a single day without Section 144 and sensorship on print media (newspapers) for which Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami, Altaf Hussain, Salahuddin, Altaf Gauher, etc. for evidence you may go through the magazines i.e. Zindagi, Urdu Digest etc. and newspapers especially Jasarat, Nawa-e-Waqt, Jang and Dawn etc. During his tenure, if any journalist asks him any question in a press conference which annoyed him, he could not go to home back with his family. He was picked after the press conference and then nobody knows about him. How he destroyed the industries, educational institutions, financial institutions due to his policies, we could not stand up after that.
The worst democratic periods we have seen during last 60 years, but you are claiming and projecting them as our leaders and hero! God bless you all!

musharraf may be the most popular person because of all his blunders which the nation fails to see - but musharraf is also the most short-sighted person. It hurts real bad when people fail to see the truth. when they base their criterion of choosing a leader not on basis of islam and sunnah and sunnah of sahaba but on basis of things like enlightened moderation, moderate islam and advancements in economy based on interest - all blessings of mushraff. these are the only reasons he has been popular. this is the only reason women of today dont like a person telling them to cover up properly, lead the nation. this is why they like secular bastards like musharraf to be there, because he will preach shit about moderate islam. shit like PROMOTING miss world culture in bikinis in pakistan and presenting a secular picture of pakistan and pakistanis, doing everything to screw the very basics of two nation theory of pakistan and islam.
on top of that his latest decadent and foolish judgment of inviting more troops to afghanistan which is infact af-pak. i wish ISI eliminates this bastard and people like captain jafar zaidi, theyre no different than baitullah mehsud and TTP who are undermining pakistan deliberately, just that he does not say it openly.

@Asif, I think both those individuals and other added to this poll just make competition tough.. this is distributing the votes and percentage.. earlier Musharraf was above 80% but after adding so many candidates he is now 54% but the daily vote average for Musharraf and Imran Khan was not affected as i observed so far.
@ Farooq, this 100% legit poll which is hosted on a third party server with double voting restriction.. I appreciate the efforts by the originators of this poll.. remember cyberwarriors are also human and not just computer programs.. just like I am one of them.. so get out of your denial and accept the fact that Musharraf is today's most influential and popular Pakistani leader worldwide

these Musharraf lovers and cyber warriors can create as many fake polls like this but the historical fact remains true even today...All Military dictators are DICKheads and Shit pieces who ultimately are thrown out and never come back...Musharraf''s case is no different
I don't understand why Altaf Hussain and Zaid Hamid are up on the list, considering both have showed no interest in becoming President.

I would like Imran Khan to be the president of Pakistan under present constitutional setup; Otherwise, he should be prime minister in Parliamentary set up. Musharraf is the 2nd best choice. Both of the them r honest and patriotic (obviously having different approach to serve the country) and, either good or bad, has decision making capabilities much needed for a leader.

The following is authored by Ahmed Qureshi, who sparingly comments on Musharaf, to be more specific: on his blunders. But at this time, he has not choices. This is all proving to be blunders of one sissy-in-the-pants man. Hence the name: Musharraf the Blunder.
Watch out for >>>
US DOLLARS RECRUITING PAKISTANIS TO WORK AGAINST PAKISTANI MILITARY
Private US security agents sneaking into Pakistan is one level of the current US engagement with Pakistan. Another level is political and seeks to isolate the Pakistani policy-making establishment, and especially the Pakistani military and the country's powerful intelligence agencies, from within, after months of incessant one-sided US media campaign demonizing the country's military and intelligence services.
On the political front, Washington's Pakistan handlers have launched a new bout of US meddling in domestic Pakistani politics. The US government has put into high gear its contacts with Pakistani political parties. Washington is now conducting direct diplomacy with these parties.
>>> A high level delegation of MQM, which controls the port city of Karachi, the starting point of US and NATO supplies headed for Afghanistan, is in Washington meeting US political and military officials.
>>> A similar exercise is planned with the ANP, the small ex-Soviet communist ally currently governing the NWFP, the Pakistani province bordering Afghanistan.
THE BEST PART: Both parties came to power, thanks to former President Musharraf's secret 'deal' brokered by Vice President Dick Cheney and his State Department officials in 2007. The deal sought to create a pro-American ruling coalition in the country that would ensure that the Pakistani military is aligned with the US strategic goals in the region.
>>> Washington began this program quietly in 2007 after getting a green signal from PRESIDENT MUSHARRAF to increase US involvement in Pakistani politics. There are reports that nazims of several districts in Sindh, Balochistan and NWFP were invited to Washington to meet US government and military officials over the past thirty months. But these were very low key visits. In fact, they were so secretive that ANP chief Asfandyar Wali refused in early 2008 to confirm or deny a visit he made to Washington after the Feb. 2008 elections in Pakistan. In contrast, no effort was made this time to downplay the current visits by MQM and ANP delegations to Washington and their meetings with US and NATO officials. And as in all of these covert visits, the federal Pakistani government, the Foreign Office and the country's security departments are not privy to what is being discussed between US officials and the leaders of the two Pakistani political parties on US soil. In fact, US officials arranged the meetings on US soil precisely in order to circumvent the Pakistani government.
The Americans are trying to accentuate what they see as pro-Indian, pro-American strains within the two parties.

Musharraf: More Troops in Afghanistan
September 25, 2009
By CHRIS CUOMO, CHRIS STRATHMANN and KATE McCARTHY [ABC News]
Former Pakistani president Gen. Pervez Musharraf said that President Obama should have complied “yesterday” with Gen. Stanley A. McChyrstal’s recommendation to send more U.S. troops to Afghanistan.
“I think you should take it immediately. You should have taken it yesterday,” Musharraf told ABC News in an exclusive interview.
Musharraf made his comments following the leak of McChrystal’s security assessment that called for additional U.S. troops to fight in Afghanistan. In the assessment, McChrystal said more troops alone cannot achieve success “but will enable implementation of the new strategy. Conversely, inadequate resources will likely result in failure.”
In February, Obama authorized an additional 21,000 troops be deployed to Afghanistan and now he must decide if the situation requires even more.
Musharraf said he “absolutely” believes there need to be more troops in Afghanistan.
Sending more troops could also mean an increase in casualties, something Musharraf says the United States should be prepared for.
“We must avoid, as much as possible, casualties. But when soldiers move and armies act, casualties will be there, and we should accept casualties,” Musharraf said.
“We have to win,” the former general said. “And quitting is not an option.”
Musharraf even proposed what he called a “drastic” measure to secure the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
“As far as I’m concerned, we should mine it so that people can’t go across,” Musharraf said.
While he acknowledged that mines are a controversial weapon, Musharraf argued that it is an “unusual war.”
Musharraf dismissed Afghanistan’s long history of defeating foreign armies, including the Soviet army in the 1980s.
“There’s always a first time,” Musharraf said.
He argued the United States could succeed where the Soviets failed because “the whole world” was helping insurgents fight the Soviets.
At another point, the former Pakistani general said, “It was you who invaded and came into Afghanistan, so you better face it now and win there.”
When asked what the consequences would be if the United States withdrew from Afghanistan, Musharraf said it would result in destabilizing Afghanistan. He said the country would become the center of all al Qaeda “sanctuaries” and consequently could extend its influence into Pakistan and possibly even India.
Musharraf said he believes Obama has “intentions of improvement” since taking office.
“He’s saying the right things. He wants to focus more on Afghanistan, compared to Iraq, which is the right strategy at this moment,” Musharraf said. “He wants to reach out to the Muslims.”
Musharraf added that “we need to see [results] on ground.

Danger for Pakistan, India if US quits Afghanistan: Musharraf
September 25, 2009
* Washington must immediately send more troops to Afghanistan, be ready for casualties
* Calls Nawaz ‘closet Taliban’, says PML-N chief never speaks against terrorism, extremism
Daily Times Monitor
LAHORE: Pakistan and India will face great danger from Al Qaeda if the United States pulls out of Afghanistan, former president Pervez Musharraf said on Thursday.
In an exclusive interview with ABC News, Musharraf said a US pullout would result in an unstable Afghanistan.
“The country [Afghanistan] will become the centre of all Al Qaeda sanctuaries and consequently could extend its influence into Pakistan and possibly even India,” Musharraf said.
Troops: To a question on the US consideration of sending more troops to Afghanistan, he said US President Obama should have complied with Gen Stanley McChyrstal’s recommendation “yesterday”. “I think you should take it immediately. You should have taken it yesterday,” Musharraf said.
Musharraf said he “absolutely” believed there needed to be more troops in Afghanistan. But he said sending more troops could mean an increase in casualties, something the US should be prepared for.
“We must avoid casualties, as much as possible. But when soldiers move and armies act, casualties will be there, and we should accept casualties,” he said.
He said the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan should be mined, a proposition he termed “drastic”.
“As far as I’m concerned, we should mine it so that people can’t go across,” Musharraf said.
He called PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif “abrasive” and confrontational.
“He has never been on good terms with any president of Pakistan,” he said, adding that Nawaz was a “closet Taliban”.
“Even on Pakistan Television these days, talk shows are going on saying that he has met Osama Bin Laden five times – five times before 9/11 – and he has been financed by Osama,” Musharraf said. “Then the other element is that he never speaks against terrorism and extremism.”

and lemme tell you something. take out please, this last nail of stupidity from your head too. This is not a Vietnam war or soviet war. this war is not funded by America. there's more to it, there's fed to it. there's a lot more to it. Afghanistan is not what they're here for. Duh your head. you cant figure out it, cuz you see everything so much separate. they're clear on their objectives, and you're confused. Because: "when you cant convince them, confuse them" is whats happening to you. nobody is getting out of there, UNLESS they achieve their stakes in Pakistan. but youre too much of a dud to get that.

Yes I also support Musharraf's statement.. you cant understand what is behind this statement.. he also said that USA should be ready for more US troops deaths.. right now US government is in immense pressure from its public due to Afghanistan failure and people criticizing more troops sending to Afghan.. this way if more troops comes to Afghan.. they cannot do anything to real talibans because US and NATO are already loosing this war.. more troops cannot win this already lost war and will be the last nail in the American coffin and they will have to get to the exist strategy right away..
SHUMAYEL, you may be too innocent enough to see everything is so simple and straight.. no sir... you cant even think how smart and wise musharraf is.. if you get out of musharraf phobia and see things from different perspective may be you will be able to see world's greatest leader in Musharraf
SHUMAYEL - 17 years ago
Musharraf still not satisfied and done with his foolish blunders.
For all Musharraf supporters:
Musharraf: Additional Troops Needed in Afghanistan [http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/musharraf-us-send-troops-afghanistan/story?id=8656811]
The former Pakistani President has made the contentious claim supporting more US troops in Afghanistan. He is siding with the Neocon agenda which support perpetual mimetic warfare in the Hindu Kush. Mr. Musharraf’s latest claim will further antagonize the Pakistanis who want to try him for the abrogation of the constitution and declaration of Martial Law twice. He is essentially welcoming more American (and therefore Israeli and Indian) involvement in the already sensitive by recommending more troops. 9/11 was the first time he paved the way, this is yet again. Who would say now Musharraf is against troops surge when all sincere (even decadent politicians) Pakistani establishment and china too, is against this surge. Is that asking for more Blackwater ? Or is that telling USA, i can do it for you whatever you want, get me my seat back.
Former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf sat down for an interview with “Good Morning America” co-anchor Chris Cuomo Sept. 23, 2009. The following transcript of their interview has been edited for clarity.
CHRIS CUOMO: So you believe we must have more troops in Afghanistan?
PERVEZ MUSHARRAF: Yes, absolutely. I absolutely believe, because I have been saying everywhere that we are diluted (?) in space. A military man understands that. The space is too large. And your troop level is low.
The general still seems so high on his confused state of mind that he cant figure out his answer on judges. Probably he knows he's a born blunder, just that his ego is telling him to stop.
CHRIS CUOMO: With time and the benefit of looking back on your time as president, do you regret having removed the supreme court judge and the other jurists?
PERVEZ MUSHARRAF: I would — I would say that — I put it like this, that it was a correct action. I do not regret that it was a wrong action. It was very constitutional, whatever I did, and very legal. But however, the fallout then was bad. (UNINTEL) fallout, which led to upheaval that we’ve seen, and therefore, one would like to rethink if, with hindsight now, whether it was wise to do even a legally and constitutionally correct act.
In that he answers his own intellect of being a fool in his decisions. The fallout was bad, well, what kind of a short sighted leader are you if you cant predict what everyone else can.

the only way of perfectly judging a leader (Muslim in particular) is NOT how well the interest-based banking system performed in his tenure, or how many stocks were in reserves and yada yada yada. It's just a simple question: Was he a good muslim ?; and all your problems are solved. Ask yourself this question and apply it to anyone you consider as a leader, because this rule of thumb is given by our prophet and is error free. That's why we know Imam Mahdi as our savior. Thats not because he will be so skillful in handling economics of the world. That's only because he will be a good muslim. Otherwise, what hasn't hitler done for germany and what hasn't mao ze tung done for china, and what hasnt gandhi done for india ? As muslims, scaling muslims in non-muslim's creteria of judgment will neither solve your problems nor will it find you the leader you find your destiny in.
Only a good muslim is a good leader. how many of these talk and remember allah and islam in their talks ? none except zaid hamid i guess.

Pervez Musharraf has proved that he was better than the heads of the
so-called political parties that are merely personality cults in most cases.
His coup was approved by the nation through the referendum. The constitutional
amendments introduced by his experts were approved by the duly elected
parliament and even MMA endorsed them. The present CJ took oath under
PCO and validated his actions.
The demagogues who want to revert to 1973 constitution actually want to remove
the ban on third time election as PM or CM. In countries like US one cannot
be President for more than two terms. This ban must continue.
Increase in number of seats in parliament for women and minorities is a good
thing. The city district government system is also good and should be
retained and provincial autonomy should be given.
About imposition of emergency in 1977 and sacking of judges, it was
necessary as the country is at war. After 9/11 a situation had emerged
where the choice was between bad and very bad.People of patriotism and
goodwill may debate the merits of Pakistani participation in the war on
terror drawing lessons from the stands taken by Saddam and Taliban
and its consequences. But there should be no debate about our debt to
the hundreds of thousands of innocent citizens who have given the ultimate
sacrifice of their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan and some tribal areas of Pakistan.
We cannot attribute the terrorism taking place in Pakistan solely to extremism
and fanaticism. Enemies of Pakistan and Islamic bomb are suspected of
destabilizing the only Muslim nation with atomic power and our leaders
have failed to root out bigotry and fanaticism and widespread corruption
with which the nation is afflicted. .

Mr Musharraf has given a commendable performance as a Pakistani spokesperson. This man is a sincere and loyal Pakistani. Everything he has said, he made sure he does not compromise Pakistani stand point. You never see that with other politicians. This fact alone is a gauge to his sincerity.
There are allegations against him about under selling different Pakistani companies like Steel Mills but the fact of the matter is that who is interested in investing in Troubled Pakistan which has the reputation of an unstable country. Out of the few people who get interested in Pakistan, don’t bid too much. When Pakistan Steel Mill was placed for sale, the best bid came from Saudi Arabia’s Al Tawariqi group for $362 million. Read more details about it at:(http://makepakistanbetter.com/Why_how_what_forum.asp?GroupID=5&ArticleID=5696)
So, it is wrong to say that Pakistan Steel Mill was being undersold. Opponents of Musharraf (corrupt politicians and their cronies in important positions) make issues out of non-issues to make him unpopular.

The Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan 1973 in its Preamble states as follows: “where in the muslims shall be enabled to order their lives in the individual and collective spheres in accordance with the teachings and requriements of ISLAM as set out in the HOLY QURAN and SUNNAH”. if this has to be followed strictly, the Assembly should srtike down Art.6 & 6(b) of the Constitution immediately before proceeding with any other business on the Floor of the House as it conflicts with teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunnah. nowhere in the lifetime of Holy Prophet the question of High Treason came up.When the question of saving the life of a muslim came up, he supported the muslim.Mind you, Musharaf’s father was a SYED. THIS CAN BE VERIFIED FROM THE RECORD IN THE FOREIGN OFFICE. He does NOT belong to a WRESTLER’S or ARAIN family.

May be Mushraff understands the issues at hand is more capable than anyone else in solving the problems. But he is one person who single handedly the mangled the only real long term solution to the problems of Pakistan; representative democracy. You cannot create a perfect democracy; democracy must evolve like it is in India and Bangladesh. Mushraff cause the evolution to stunt; now it will take much longer for Pakistan than it would have without Mushraff.
Your article bases the solutions on short term fixes like an efficient dictator who came from nowhere and went nowhere.

NawazAitzaz - 17 years ago
NO DOUBT Aitzaz was the snake in all of this.
Some things to keep in mind in reference to the Long March:
1. Remember it was Aitzaz/Nawaz combo that called off the first long march without any consultation sabotaging it.
2. As a result, Aitzaz was kicked out of holding any lawyers’ association office and Kurd won the presidency and Hamid Khan group swept all the elections of lawyers’ associations.
3. On the second long march, I find it very interesting that a wimp like Aitzaz “managed to escape police custody three times.” Now how is that even possible? Not only that, in all that ruckus of that day he managed to find Nawaz and join him in his vehicle.
4. The above is made even more interesting by the fact that both Nawaz and Aitzaz NEVER went to the Lahore High Court (LHC) where all the action was and where all the lawyers who had been fighting police all day were waiting for them. All their (lawyers) leadership was there and the stage was set and they were waiting for Nawaz/Aitzaz to come by, deliver their speeches and start the long march. I know because I was there right in the middle of it. But they took another route and skipped LHC all together. It is clear they did not inform the lawyers they were skipping town because even I found out they were not coming before the lawyers did. When I left LHC around 6:30-7:00 — I was informed by a friend watching TV that Nawaz tola had already made it to Data Ganj Baksh so I knew he would be a no show at LHC — the lawyers were still convinced he was going to come and continued to wait.
6. About this whole thing being a set-up, remember Nawaz had already announced days earlier the Long March won’t make it past Gujaranwala and things would be settled by then.
7. Remember also that it was Aitzaz who called the Long March off on behalf of the lawyers this time as well. That certainly wasn’t his place as he held no position. If anyone, it should have been Kurd making the call. Sure Kurd was “not there” but he WAS AVAILABLE to make that call but he did not.
(Of course later Kurd etc said it was a joint decision but we know that is only to save face. The lawyers had been had and they knew it and admitting it would be so embarrassing as they were warned several times about that ‘aasteen-ka-saanp’ Aitzaz. Also remember how Kurd was made a fool by getting convinced to go to Quetta and on the day of reckoning found himself stuck in the middle of nowhere. That decision by Kurd to lead the march from Quetta was VERY STUPID and in the end made him look a complete fool. Did he forget he was the president of the SCBA? What business he had in Quetta?? )
8. Regarding Aitzaz, did the lawyers forget that given a blunt choice — by the lawyers themselves — to choose between the lawyers or PPP (they had said “you can’t ride two boats”), Aitzaz had chosen PPP (and not the lawyers) stating clearly that he was a jiyala and would always be a jiyala.
9. I certainly believe that in order to get the lawyers to put their guard down, the fraud of Aitzaz loosing his seat on PPP was perpetrated. Now we know it was just a hoax.
10. Just one more thing: Keep in mind Nawaz had no interest in the Long March till Zardari forced his hand by removing Shehbaz from his position. Even till a day earlier — as Long March approached — PML-N talking heads were distancing themselves from it by false, pathetic reasons such as “We were not consulted”…(see Kh. Saad Rafiq and Ch Nisar’s statements, e.g.)… and they were all set for another flip-flop (like the one we are seeing these days about the Swat Op — they are playing both sides — and that we have seen many times before e.g. election boycott)

The so called success of the movement is still paving way for de-establization of Pakistan. The Chief justice is giving political statements as remarks during hearing of cases like comments on NRO, PCO Judges, 12 May case etc.
all such remarks may irks the political parties directly or indirectly involved in the above issues. The Chief justice on one hand has given a National Judical Policy but on the other hand he had made a grouping in Judges, PCO Judges/Judges of
Chief Justice. The judges of Chief justice are not holding References of out going PCO judges. The PCO judges are not invited in functions
attended by Chief Justice. The PCO judges and the judges of Chief justice have gone to far against each other that they are instigating the Bar Associations to file Petitions against the PCO judges and passing orders agaisnt the Judges in open courts. This is not a double standard policy? Judges are divided deliberately. Whether the division in judges all over Paksitan would support the Judicial policy or Judical policy is a Slogan to make people of Pakistan further fool in
the name of Justice and Insaf. What judiciary may give to Pakistan.
What they have given in the past. This time the foreign powers had masterminded the JUDICIAL COUP, a coup for De-establization of Pakistan and create real frustration in the hearts and minds of People of Pakistan.
God Bless Pakistan.

The lawyers’ movement was indeed a liars’ movement. These liars were supported by the corrupt political/ religeous leaders like Qazi Hussain and Nawaz Shariff. It was Nawaz Shariff; in whose regime, the Supreme Court of Pakistan was attacked with the government’s backing. The same culprit was the biggest supporter of the so called laywers’ movement. If Iftikahr Chaudhary has any real guts, he must open the case of the attack over the Supreme Court of Pakistan during Nawaz Shariff’s regime.

As an outsider who lived in Pakistan for about a year and half during the time of late President Zia, I must say that, it is good to see that Pakistanis are now able to see the truth about what Americans and other westerners are doing in order to exploit the resources and strategic location of Pakistan through spread of Islamic fundamentalism in there and in the whole region. It is absolutely a false assumption that Islamic fundamentalism is against the interest of west. These people are as harmful to the interests of the nation as their communist counterparts.
This a new era in the age of imperialism in which people’s religious belief in different regions is taken advantage of in order to exert control through planting certain elements in the leadership using a complicated process by combining intelligence and military apparatus. I assure you many people throughout the world are monitoring the process of events in Pakistan and I encourage you to work even harder to spread this information inside Pakistan as well as outside.
I can tell you from my own experience and my own findings, that despite what many might believe, Islamic government in Iran has always been working in partnership with United States government covertly. I have seen this first hand that Iranian government accomodated passage of the convoy of military supplies (loaded in non-military trucks) by US and others which came through Pakistan to go to western Afghanistan during 1980’s while at the same time claiming to be in war with them!
My dear friends! You are in battle with greatest evil power of all times. Age of colonialism is making a come back to exploit resources of the world for the interest of some greedy and power hungry people by enslavement of others through different means like religious brainwashing and instigating fake movements in order to divert the genuine struggles by people and install their own elements. I wish you the best of luck in your efforts to spread information and raising awareness among people.

we hav not tested imran khan yet, just listened him on media so he sud be given a chance to proof wat he says.

WHO IS USING MY NAME TO COPY PASTE THESE REPORTS ?
I DID NOT WRITE THIS.
AND I DO NOT SUPPORT MUSHARRAF. HE IS A SHADY CHARACTER. HIS WAS THE WORST DECISION EVER TO SUPPORT USA AGAINST MUSLIMS OF AFGHANISTAN.
MUSHARRAF IS A BLUNDER. A PERSON WHOS NOT A GOOD MUSLIM CANNOT BECOME A GOOD LEADER IN PAKISTAN EVER. YOU WILL SEE.
Dear All,
Please vote for Mustafa Kamal.. He is the great person.... Aisa banda humare country ka sadar hona chahiye... jisko kuch ehsas ho or jo kaam karwana janta ho.... baqi sab lutere hian...
Allah-o-Akbar!

We must not get fooled again. this man may seem and talk pakistan first all the time, but he is infact the greaetest threat to pakistan. we must not let him come back. our focus should simple be on a man who is a good muslim and honest to islam and pakistan and who is without allegations.

While the FO and the Commerce Ministry are in complete dark, a letter dated March 26, 2009 and signed by Doyle R Babe, Lt-Col of the US embassy, talks of the shipment/transportation of 30 PKM Machineguns and 25 GP-30 4

i love musharaf he is the man can bring pakistan forward baki all kanjar
without* mistyped!
Sir General (retd) Pervaiz Musharraf with a doubt!
the only president of our country who had open Q n A sessions live from awaan e saddar
the only president of Pakistan ever who got invited to address big audiences in the west , to give lectures and share his experiences..no other leader of our country ever got this honour
the only President of Pakistan who when sat down with the indians for agra pact, made them agree to all his terms in no time . they were afraid of arguing with him he had the best convincing skills (although the indians realized after the meeting that he got them agreed on his conditions and backed off overnight :P)
the only SSG elite force commander to achieve the highest rank
the only President during whose reign Pakistan saw the biggest boom in telecommunications and electronic media industries
Pakistan grew economically very strong..a lotttttttt of employment oppotunities were created in his era..people were economically sound..more than they are now
Sir Musharraf rules!

I would like to remind respected Mr Rafay...to first brush his English language....I do not get what is he talking about....the second is everybody has a right to his opinion.....hence Mr Rafay too.....but in the end what I have analysed is that Mr Musharraf who had the guts to accept his mistake made during his last few months in office...is still so popular is due to his govt`s good work which is being missed by the common people now a days......do you people call this democracy...when most of these leaders & politicians are Jagirdars & fuedal lords......hence it is fuedal democracy & not plain / simple democracy....remember Nawaz Shariff is himself a product of a dictator ( Mr Zia-ul-Haq - known as the worst dictator Pakistan ever had....he is the one who brought into Pakistan...Klashinkov culture / drugs & Afghanis who where nurtured & trained during Zia`s era...& nobody seem to mention Zia at all ?? this is very intriguing ?? )....this is the quality of mind-set of our people.....just go after whoever is in front of you & forget others.....& their past activity.....
This is reply to Mr Asim Malik...Malik sb...with due respect ...with all that you have said....Musharraf is still the best as per this poll......Musharraf was in similar position when taken over from Mr Nawaz Sharif....however only time will tell......

Ameen

Dear all,
We have been watching talk shows on different TV channels and different articles in print media and feel sham as a citizen of Pakistan on how our media and so called commentators and intellectuals are supporting and projecting criminals and corrupts as nation's hero and leaders.
Mumtaz Haider
IF MUSHARAF IS SUCH POWERFUL LEADER WHY HE RESIGNED. WHY IS HE NOT COMING TO PAKISTAN. Capital punishment is waiting for him for killing Pushtoons, Balouchs and bombing Jamia Hafsa.
Musharaf should be hanged for killing Pushtoon and Balouchs.
only and only Imran Khan or Javed Hashmi.
Its really disgusting to see people voting for Mush who had literally F**ked the country. If such is our thinking then dooms day for us is not really far.
musharraf may be the most popular person because of all his blunders which the nation fails to see - but musharraf is also the most short-sighted person.
Pakistan Zindabad!
Muhsarraf Zindabad
@!Asif:
You can assess the authenticity of these pols from your observation...
these Musharraf lovers and cyber warriors can create as many fake polls like this but the historical fact remains true even today...All Military dictators are DICKheads and Shit pieces who ultimately are thrown out and never come back...Musharraf''s case is no different
Pakistan Zindabad
Coward Musharraf and His Cyberlovers Murdabad
I don't understand why Altaf Hussain and Zaid Hamid are up on the list, considering both have showed no interest in becoming President.
I would like Imran Khan to be the president of Pakistan under present constitutional setup; Otherwise, he should be prime minister in Parliamentary set up. Musharraf is the 2nd best choice. Both of the them r honest and patriotic (obviously having different approach to serve the country) and, either good or bad, has decision making capabilities much needed for a leader.
I voted for Sir Pervez Musharraf.
allah un ki hifazat karay , aur uk kay dushmanoon ki koshishoon ko nakam kary- Ameen

Because: "when you cant convince them, confuse them" is whats happening to you. nobody is getting out of there, UNLESS they achieve their stakes in Pakistan. but youre too much of a dud to get that.
yeah right @ Mr.Adeel Javed, what a dweeb u must be
I see where your understanding of great ends @ "world's greatest leader in Musharraf"
dude, isn't this a bit too overrated ? do you even have a slightest of ideas what GREATEST means ??? don't give me this superficial bullshit of yours. I could tell you what great means really but if this is all your understanding of great...then i guess then...you deserve whatever is happening to Pakistan. i guess with people like your understanding of great, this country still has to see some more suffering.
I feel so proud to see his speeches.. many of the speeches never covered by our Pakistani media.. but I saw his Trinity speech on Dunya TV last night.. if you guys missed that then watch it at the following URL. Watch and feel proud!!!
http://www.trinity.edu/departments/public_relations/media/index.htm#
I suggest Musharraf haters and critics to see this video:
http://www.trinity.edu/departments/public_relations/media/index.htm#
See how he promotes Islam and Pakistan in his speeches.. he is doing a wonderful job...
If you are for real.. see his speech at Trinity with open mind not with talk shows polluted brains.
GOD IS GREAT.
Inshah-Allah ul Aziz, We sill see that Platinum days of our life once again when our favorite, beloved, and the Great leader Sir Pervaiz Musharraf will come back and serve this lovely country Pakistan by his quality, sincerity, and his God gifted capability.

the only way of perfectly judging a leader (Muslim in particular) is NOT how well the interest-based banking system performed in his tenure, or how many stocks were in reserves and yada yada yada.
Pakistan Zindabad
Long Live Pervaiz Musharaf!
Musharraf should be back ASAP to save us from these feudal politicians
Enemies of Pakistan and Islamic bomb are suspected of
destabilizing the only Muslim nation with atomic power and our leaders
have failed to root out bigotry and fanaticism and widespread corruption
with which the nation is afflicted. .
Arif N. Khan
Musharraf is great!!
Within a year the country has plunged in the most difficult period & it is blamed on Musharraff especially the Power shortages….. & all the economic ills the country is facing presently……something that India used to do….blame Pakistan for ALL their problems….but they have overcome that situation….but we continue to put ALL the blame on the previous regime……when will this STOP….only a revolution can & very soon it will be……..
Almighty God bless America,The USA. Most powerful man has gone and two richest persons/groups have come in power. The poor will become poorer and rich will be richer day by day because of the unique business of politics in Pakistan. President Musharraf handed over resignation to the chief of army staff in presence of other generals. Army act of Pakistan zindabad , Pakistan paindabad. For God sake, plan for creation of jobs and circulation of money to boost economy of the under developed country. And make sure the rule of law over rule the law of ruler. Hard working people of Pakistan can make this great country a wonderful place if justice is provided to the common man. All the best with lot of prayers to the Almighty GOD for the welfare of common people in Pakistan.KHWAJA AFTAB ALI,Orlando, Florida, USA.
Nawaz Sharif’’s incompetence has been proved no. of times in the political history of the last two decades. Firstly, he was absolutely incompetent to tackle the situation which evolved internationally after the nuclear blasts, secondly the same incompetence was evident in the case of Kargil war.
watch the following interview aired on ARY one to see the true face of corrupt journalist ansar abbasi who has made millions from his blackmailing.

GEO and Ansar Abbassi, Hamid Mir, Kamran Khan!
Please stop journalism of spreading hatred and fictitious allegations.
your duty is to bring out facts from people and leaders; don’t put words into mouths of yout guest speakers.
please stop being a tool of anti-unity elements and be true Pakistanis.
Musharraf gave birth to independent reporting and showed immense patience; you have also been spoiling his image, be honest. you can’t challenge his sincerity, loyalty, honesty vis-a-vis our political greedy, selfish and corrupt so-called leadership, though he had few weaknesses
And what stops you from talking on Kashmir?
