i have found LARD (Lord) nazir ahmed jumping in the fray. he belongs to kashmir,if i am not mistaken, whom he represents in U.K. What has he done for kashmiris? he seems to be an opportunist. What was he doing when Nawaz Sharif , A PRODUCT OF general ziaul haq, was in power. should not ziaul haq be charged under ART 6 of the constitution and NAWAZ SHARIF ,FOR SUPPORTING HIM,under ART.6 (b) of the constitution? nawaz sharif and nazir ahmad should not forget they are answerable to the SUPREME JUDGE – ALLAH,if they have faith!!! they were the ones who disgraced JUDGES when in power, am i right. why do they shed crocodile tears now?? does not NAZIR AHMAD know about this? if he does not know this, he is not fit to represent the pakistanis. if his answer is in the positive, then with his blackened face how can he approach the World Body? He should read the Constitution of the International Court of Justice and whether, he, as an indidual can approach that court? he is trying to befool and impose upon illiterate Pakistanis. BEWARE pakistanis of such leaders. never support such leaders who bring bad name to Pakistan. WHERE DOES PAKISTAN STANDTO-DAY!!!THE MUCH TRUMPETED ELECTION was held. what is the result. the progress is at stand still!!!OPPORTUNISTS have come into power. they are filling their coffers.LOOK AT THE LAWYERS MOVEMENT – LAWYER COMMUNITY had been DISGRACED. LAWYER community in Pakistan is nothing but a pack of shylocks. people shudder going to the court. Justice is only for the rich and influential.

If we do not know how to make lemonade out of a lemon what can one do. The problem is our system. The system throws up third rate leadership into the National Assembly and The Provincial Assemblies. The reason is land reforms have not taken place in the country after Sher Shah Suri’s time.

When the British awarded huge lands to a few for their betrayel to control populations, they were not taken away after indendence. India is one day younger than us. But they abolished the feudal system in one go. One shot. They inroduced land ceiling of a maximum 56 acres per head and if it is under canal 14 acres maximum. So did the Egyptians. In the entire big world it is only Pakistan that is upholding the feudal system. So when such people are there who don’t care for Pakistan and its people. What policies will they make and implement.

The result is, poor decisions are made in the National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies. Bureaucratic red tapism grows and no body works. Diplomats abroad who represent Pakistan only enjoy their positions, perks and tenure. They do not work. Now here media does not highlight the important issues but keeps going round in circles.

They do not address the structural problems as they are not highly educated nor sincere to their profession. You have guys like Dr. Shahid Masood and Hamid Mir etc. who only confuse the unsuspecting minds either by their ignorance or connivance or both.

So the end result is you do not manage but get managed and then constantly blame some one else for our own failings. It is not too late to learn if there is a will.

General Musharraf is a heroic person. He endangered his life several times for our country’s sake in various commando missions of extremely dangerous nature. All the politicians and the lawyers who are after Musharraf have extremely corrupt records. The so called lawyers’ movement which was in fact a liars’ movement started up when Gen. Musharraf tried to stop Iftikahr Chaudhary from taking the steps which were extremely fatal to our country’s interests.

Iftikhar Chaudhary should first scrutinize his own corruption and his judiciary’s corruption in the recent past and also the corruption committed by Shariff Brothers in the schemes like “Karaz Otaro Mulk Sanwaro”.

All educated and sensible people want Musharraf to come back….however the problem is that by the time he comes back say 2012-2013, PPP and PML(N) would have destroyed the country’s economy. The foreign debt which was USD 40B would lbe probably around USD 80-100 Billion by that time thanks to corrupt democracy and inflation wouldbe sky high………Would there be anything left to come back to…………..Its really difficult to visulaize how Pakistan would be brought back from such an abyss. The Feudal politicias and their slave population (the masses of Pakistan including the urbans) would have cripled the country by then……..We all need to prat to Allah that he protect our nation and our Country from the impending hell it is directed towards. Its a pity Musharraf could not stick around till 2012….things would have been better however the real problem is that our population is just too naive to understand this simple fact. I am not sure if they would realize this in the future too. They have the media and the lawyers and the judiciary and the so called civil society to misguide them into the hell they are directed towards. once again we need to earmestly pray to Allah so he may be kind to us and direct us towards prosperity.

The decision of Supreme Court dated 31st of July 2009 as projected by media is the biggest Fraud in Judicial History of Pakistan when it says that PCO judges have been sent home. PCO Judges are still working and non PCO judges have been sacked, packed and sent home. The beneficiaries of the recent judgment are Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry, Mr. Justice Javed Iqbal, Mr. Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan, Mr. Justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday Mr. Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, Mr. Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani etc. All these judges violated the constitutional oath and took fresh oath under the PCO of General Musharaf after Pakistan army ousted Nawaz Sharif in October of 1999.
The other set of PCO judges are Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokhar and Justice Javed Buttar etc. including other judges in High Courts who took oath under the PCO on 3rd of November 1999. All of them are judges even today and are still continuing.
Interestingly the judges who have been sent home had never taken oath under any PCO. Most of these Judges were not even appointed in General Musharaf’s period. Infact they were appointed after the restoration of democracy in the country. The name of these judges who took oath under the constitution are as under:-
    1) Mr. Justice Pervez Ali Chawla
    1) Mr. Justice Habib Ullah Shakir
    2) Mr. Justice Nazir Ahmed Ghazi
    3) Mr. Justice Abdul Sattar Goraya
    4) Mr. Justice Syed Ihtasham Qadir Shah

    22) Mr. Justice Syed Mehmood Alam Rizvi
    23) Justice Ms. Soofia Latif
    24) Mr. Justice Maqbool Ahmed Awan
    25) Mr. Justice Safdar Ahi Bhutto

    27) Mr. Justice Malik Muhammad Aqil
    28) Mr. Justice Syed Shafaqat Ali Shah Masoomi
    29) Mr. Justice Muhammad Iqbal Mahar
    30) Mr. Justice Khadim Hussain M. Sheikh
    31) Mr. Justice Muhammad Ismail Bhutto
    32) Mr. Justice Arshad Siraj Memon
    33) Mr. Justice Aamir Raza Naqvi
    34) Mr. Justice Muhammad Karim Khan Agha
    35) Mr. Justice Salman Talibuddin
    36) Mr. Justice Shaji Rehman Khan
    37) Mr. Justice Ghulam Mohayuddin Malik

    49) Mr. Justice Malik Saeed Ejaz
    50) Mr. Justice Syed Shaheen Masud Rizvi
    51) Mr. Justice Ali Akbar Qureshi
    52) Mr. Justice Muhammad Ahsan Bhoon.

The aforesaid 52 judges have never ever taken oath under the PCO. They have been ousted. The nation is celebrating and all the PCO judges are still continuing as judges. In short the fight between post November 3 PCO judges and post October 12 PCO judges has resulted in ouster of judges who took oath only under the Constitution of Pakistan and never ever under the PCO. The media, PML[N], the lawyers and other political forces are mixed up and are rejoicing the ouster of constitutionally appointed judges and PPP seems ignorant of this fact. Such things can only happen in Pakistan. After General Musharraf dislodged Nawaz’s government on 12th October 1999, Iftikhar Chaudhry in order to save his job took oath under the PCO. However when he lost his job on 3rd of November 2007 he conde

Assaam o alaikum , my fellow Pakistanis, there is a lot to be said and questioned but is it really going to be helpful in solving our problems , what makes me sad that yet Pakistanis cannot analyze their essential requirements and what is best for them , don’t know their rights , do not speak up for their demands , and are becoming victims of the fast spreading corruption asking an average honest citizen , Can you stand any longer, and we keep falling before the rising prices .Demand for Education, health and respect has become beyond imagination., Here i agree that hate rules us all , and i add that the propogated accusations on ARMED foreces for availing facilities which are not available to civiian pakistanis are totally baseless , i say in reply to that if they are provided with such lifestyles for their families why would they risk to sell their country , betray their homeland like politicians do and is a plus point to their loyalty being question marked . And is there a single politician we can claim to be honest , patriotic and loyal to the oath taken. . And at many occasions we claim that Allah has gifted us this country and Allah is helping this country run too , in my opinion why has their been always an Army chief in power at time of disaster like Soviet invasion and 9/11 , and right after it our PPP leader said that 9/11 would not have happened if i was in power , meaning that that Pakistan is responsible for that . our leaders are capable of turning the day into night and making the black into white .

  • Omar - 17 years ago

Musharraf has become an easy punching bag , and a smoke screen for the Politicians to blame everything on him .he has done great Job , played double game for a long time with USA , (as U.S sources blame Bush for being double crossed) , opened Media and made mistakes like having pity on Nawaz sharif , Not establishing a criteria for responsible and patriotic journalism and to have an eye on the resources backing new born Media as everyone is aware of the fact who controls Media all over. And if there is peace and prosperity in the country along with true justice who would pay handsome salary packages to journalists like ansar abbasi , Haid mir and Mushtaq minhas the thriving corruption is the condition for their survival.

  • Khalid - 17 years ago

1- why is it so that our own people have not only welcomed family or inheritance politicians but have persuaded it throughout , like it is generally anticipated that after benazir , her daughter or son Bilawal will lead the PPP , and we see it happening , why our people cannot get out of this personality worshipping after so many years , and even more , it is an open fact and 99% of us agree that politicians are corrupt, they are liars , they are deceivers , (let’s Add the word “existing politicians) and even after having such information about tem , on the day of poling these politicians are sent to do thre same again , I know I’m not revealing any new facts but can one answer. These people who die for their politicians even knowing the facts , have never demanded drinking water facility , never asked for hospitals , medicines , Is it not in their knowledge what are their needs , basic needs , have they ever demanded equal opportunity of education for their children as their leaders provide to their ‘s . Why is that so that they have settled for least not even for less, it’s not the question what they can have or what they can’t., Are they humans, even if not educated, but they see all the things which are ought to be demanded by them, no one else shall speak for them but themselves, But I still foolishly Ask WHY, ? They gather for Nawaz sharif , (when he’s been away) they make masses for CJ , they make huge crowds For BB , but never ever can try to understand the basic needs of their children , and the number of suicides is increasing enormously . But still no sign of Wakening. Now I ask who are they , there can be many reasons and justifications for their such misery , only fir the sake of a heart throbbing hot debate, but does it not prove these people act like puppets in the hands of politicians and leaders, regardless of the fact that what their own voices are .
2- I suppose it is enough to start a debate over this state, but this is not my objective as I already assume what comes in such debates, I ask one more question that has any politician ever tried to wake them from this, has anyone ever tried to give them speaking power, has any of these politicians admitted that they have been lying to their people as his father and grandfather has cheated and fooled them, exploited them indeed. Out of these 600 or 700 politicians can you name only 10? and even if there is an exception what happened , like in case of Miraj khalid , what was the result has anyone ever supported him except a few . Such few more different people had to be silent politicians and are not seen anymore. Mr. sher afgan niazi , who is very much disliked ,has there been any known corruption involving him , So I quote it only to show how honest or less corrupt are treated in our society by these AWAM. So it shows that corrupt politicians are supported or supposed to be supported by the similar category of people and here we hardly see a clean fish , what does it prove again , that majority of corrupt , or ignorant fools (with apology) bring those to rule them over and over again . whose fault is this , leaving it here , see where it leads us consequently , in fact it leads us nowhere but keep us moving in this vicious circle of fearless corruption , illegal activities including the crushing of those who ever said a word against them , and I don’t want to waste time because we all know depths of their lusts . and sometimes I think they do it right because who am I Alone to condemn and point out what’s right and what’s not when the majority of us don’t bother at all, Mian sahb for a long tie been yelling that PPP is anti state and BB is western agent (is it not true) . didn’t Mian again announced at Neelabut that I assure Pakistan has nuclear capability , as a violation of state secrets , has he not approved attack on supreme court , has he not taken measures to humiliate Sajjad ali shah , has he not superceded Musharraf over his seniors , has he not sent M

Akhtar, Farroq, you both seems to be so innocent.. quoting The News.. part of Jang and Geo launched a full funded campaign against Musarraf to topple him.. obviously funded by CIA.. if you dont know the background of GEO then read this:
    http://pakalert.wordpress.com/2009/08/18/2008/10/08/geo-tv-cnn-cia/

If you want to understand why he was toppled then read this:

    http://pakalert.wordpress.com/2009/06/02/pakistans-lawyers-movement-who-achieved-what/

As far as people coming out for Musharraf is concerned then you will surly see this is coming days as people are fed up of this so called democracy.. people are dying for floor and sugar.. they dont have jobs and no hopes.. we become beggar as a nation and now the lowest level of population is suffering the worst.
If you have the guts.. just go out in general public and ask common man which government was better .. Musharraf or the current and you will get your answers.

You better educate yourself first and apply some tolerance and open mindedness in your life.. do be extremist!

I agree 100% with the post above specially this part

    Musharraf’s trial
    Tuesday, September 01, 2009
I am quite amused to read the random posts of Musharraf admirers in the letters’ section. While it would not change any thing or bring a dictator (relegated to the dustbin of history) back, but I do feel like asking them some questions. One, where were these ‘drawing-room warriors’ hiding when Musharraf’s own creation, the PML-Q, contested for elections? Why didn’t they vote for the likes of Sheikh Rashid, Sher Afgan Niazi and Chaudhry Shujaat who were the most rabid supporters of a military dictator all these years? Two, if they loved Musharraf so much and thought his resignation was a national loss why didn’t they come out in streets to mourn his loss and support him?

This is in contrast to the respect and reaction shown by the Pakistani nation when they came out to condemn the ouster of the judiciary by a self-proclaimed saviour. Three, since his actions have been nullified and every thing that he stood for is being thrown to dogs why can’t his admirers come out in open and hold a small rally in his favour? I dare all Musharraf admirers and apologists to gather two hundred persons in front of Parliament House in his support.

Four, why are all those Musharraf admirers who are settled abroad and enjoying the fruits of democracy in the western world so concerned about the fate of a military dictator? I am sure if any of them supports a military takeover in the western world he would be thrown out of the country. Five, if Musharraf was such a good military commander then why did many senior officers, including the Ex-Servicemen Society representing thousands of ex-soldiers, oppose his actions? And finally, why are most of the Musharraf admirers found only in cyberspace?

  • Omar - 17 years ago

Our country Pakistan can be said as a true example of propoganda war ,people fall for lies ignoring the evident facts , lies are seen more attractive than the truth to create sensationlism and being better informed. so many lies are on air & in print . No one denies the commonly told truth , a new Province is created without a proper debate , enhancing the Trial of Mushaarraf Issue as an eye wash acting upon dictations that is a step ahead for demolition of pakistan and is not even under any discussion anywhere whereas irrelevant issues are taken up everyday and people love watching it like they are becoming intellectuals , the language Firdosh Ashique has used with kashmala tariq in a live talk was intolerable , and i wonder still she represents the population of over 500000. as an MNA .another lie is musaharraf has looted the country and BHUTTO had qualities like a saint , ZiA had given us only Heroine , extremism and AK47 is also a lie . This all has become a Mess full of lies . and has brainwashed us

  • Iqbal Sakrani - 17 years ago

I agree with you miss khan... its our duty to spread the word about this poll and ask our family, friends, neighbours etc to come here and vote for President Musharraf and also leave a brief comment what they think about Musharraf and how we can get Mr. Musharraf back. I have few friends in international media and I will make sure that this poll gets proper coverage internationally because it wont get any attention form our biased and anti Musharraf media.

Lets join hands in this great cause for the betterment of our beloved country.

    Thanks to all

  • Miss Khan - 17 years ago

dear friends if you want President Musharaf back. If you want the whole world to respect our president than cast your vote. Don't keep quite this time.

  • Miss Khan - 17 years ago

Mr Rafi Ahmed i totally agree with you. We Pakistanis do not deserve democracy. It is not for us. Thanks God we have Army in our country who is powerful not like Indian army otherwise our areas were also distributed for local tax for underworld people. Nawaz sharif and Zardari both are Don. People sell their vote in this country. You know how zardari purchased the vote. It was very obvious in TV while the democratically elected people of Assembly were casting their votes in Assembly.

Choudry Iftikhar you too come on seat through dealing with Zardari. Thats you are not taking action against petrol rate and other issues where zardari is directly involved

President Musharaf please comes back. We want to answer your opposition by electing you. My whole area is desperately waiting for you.

  • SHALLINA - 17 years ago

Zardari is a chor and needs to be shot for what he is doing to our country ,at least Mussaraf stood up against the ever demanding pressure from the united states ,we need an Army man that can protect our nuclear bombs and wipe out the Taliban

  • Rafi Ahmed - 17 years ago

When opinion polls remember Musharraf, is it not a repetition of history when Ayub Khan similarly honourably stepped down under public pressure on March 25, 1969? Hardly a year after, the public were acclaiming him. In case you do not remember an incident in Islamabad when Ayub Khan was visiting a book stall in Islamabad (in those days there were no terrorists gunning down personalities, requiring heads or ex heads of state to be provided security). A passing crowd chanted “Ayub Zindabad!” Ayub sarcastically retorted “Ayub Kutta!”, the previous public slogan demanding his dismissal.

It is acknowledged that the Ayub era of the 1960’s was the golden era of Pakistan. At that time, other nations like South Korea came to study the Pakistan economic formula. Today they are running an economy worth hundreds of billions of dollars, whilst we are beggars for a few billion, nay couple of hundred millions.

Lest we do not forget, that the Mangla & Tarbella dams were constructed during his time, which though reducing in capacity due silting, is at least providing some breathing space (with intermittent load shedding & at least some minimal water reservoirs) otherwise we would have desertified & be dead & buried years ago, with due respects to all those who oppose building further dams.

Yet it is said that “the worst democracy is better that the best dictatorship”. In Pakistan, democracy is not the culprit. We, the voters, are the culprits, who keep on re-electing the most corrupt, who showed their credentials of corruption during their 2-stints each of musical chairs rules 1988/1999, looting the nationalised banks by non-returnable, non-performing bank loans, selling their souls by horse trading, transferring their ill-gotten assets abroad, presently known to own $60 million in Swiss Banks released on dropping of the Cotecna case under request from the Pak government under the infamous NRO, owning of prime properties abroad, And these are only those disclosed, which may be a tip of the ice-berg of whatever hidden assts they have actually shored up abroad.

we also forgot that Mr. Zardari is a high school highly qualified, and has been accused being involved in a large no. of fraud cases as well as sex scandals,
We always forget in polls that we ourselves rejected the particular party in previous elections bcoz of record corruption till date and an increase in poverty rate and inflation, and country’s liabilities,

But thses so called democratic leaders just keep an eye that how they can loot the national money and how they can deceive peoples of Pakistan. our so called democratic leaders have no ability to make policies for poor peoples of Pakistan. Musharaf should give a chance to become a power full president or PM of Pakistan.

musharraf indeed is a great man in his era pakistan saw a great boom in economy here are some statistics

Chronological record of events, that validates President Musharraf’s election as President and subsequent endorsements by Supreme Court

1- On 13 May 2000, Pakistan’s 12 member Supreme Court unanimously validated the October 1999 coup and granted Musharraf executive and legislative authority for 3 years from the coup date. Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry was one of the judges that validated. (Link)

2- On 7 October 2002, the 5 member bench of Supreme Court validated LFO and amendments to constitution. Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry was one of the judges that validated. (Link)

3- On 29 Dec 2004, PML-Q government passed the 17th constitutional amendment bill in National Assembly, with 2/3 majority, also approved by Senate that allowed President Musharraf to hold dual offices. (Link)

4- Constitution of Pakistan – Article 63 clause (1) paragraph (d), read with proviso to Article 41 clause (7) paragraph (b), allows the President to hold dual office.

5- On 13 April 2005, the 5 member bench of Supreme Court gave judgment in favor of 17th amendment and President’s uniform. Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry was one of the judges that validated. (Link)

6- On 28 September 2007, the Supreme Court cleared the way for President Pervez Musharraf to seek another five-year term, and stand for Presidential elections, when six of the nine judges, rejected a tangle of petitions against him and threw out a major legal challenge to his re-election plans. Presided by Justice Rana Bhagwandas. (Link)

7- President Musharraf was elected President of Pakistan, on 6th October 2007, by a combined electoral of the Senate, National Assembly and the FOUR Provincial Assembles.

8- President of Pakistan declared emergency on 3rd November 2007, as per Article 232 of the constitution.

9- The 10 member bench of Supreme Court (SC) on 24 November 2007 directed the chief election commissioner and the government to declare Pervez Musharraf president for a second term. (Link)

10- On 24 November 2007, the Pakistan Election Commission confirmed Musharraf’s re-election as President. (Link)

11- President Musharraf won by 58% votes, declared in November 2007, as the constitutional President of Pakistan!

12- On 28 November 2007, Musharraf relinquished the office of Chief of Armed Staff, as per November 2007 verdict of the Supreme Court.

13- On 15 Feb 2008, the Supreme Court validated the proclamation of emergency of 3rd Nov 2007, PCO 2007 and oath of the judges. This full court judgment was written by Chief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar. (Link)

These facts above raise serious questions regarding the credibility of those so-called political intellects and experts of judicial matters that appear on media talk shows, accusing President Musharraf of violating the constitution, thereby seeking to apply Article-6 on him. They do so, merely for publicity and self exposure, overlooking the role of the Judiciary all along and misguiding the public to zenith. They should know that the Parliament and the Supreme Court, has approved and endorsed every single decision taken by President Musharraf. President Musharraf – being the President of Pakistan was the rightful authority to sign amendments to the constitution, after being approved by the Senate.

The only thing which is holding him is threat on his life according to him and his followers. We are all Mard a Momin. Look on the brighter side, if killed, will be called "Shaheed" and a great monument will be built and people will pay homage to a great leader who gave his life to his country. i also love musharaf because he is the only genius leader Pakistan has ever produced.he has great statesman qualities.the petty politicians, biased judges and ring-leaders of Pakistan want to put him on trial is really a shame for this nation.had he been in India he would have been held in high esteem and honored and given some top assignment so that his talent is exploited.

he ruled Pakistan in a very nice way.one big mistake he did in his life was that he let the Ass N Sharief alive after the coup for which he is now facing tough time.he is the only leader who almost solved the Kashmir issue but for his internal disturbance, as recently also corroborated by Indian PM. i hope Pakistani people will help him to stand up in politics.

  • M.A.JINNAH - 17 years ago

Well ZARDARI, NAWAZ AND all other politician are rubbish creatures of a sure but Musharraf is biggest of them and he was the same, liar, corrupt, traitor.

who brought these traitors in, if he was rite in 1999 why the hell no inquiry hmm, he charged all these people and promised will punish them but brought them

again after having his stomach full, he constantly lied to ppl of pk,
he said american threatened him that they wil bomb pk, he lied,
he and his puppet kept on chanting the mantra of americanism and said there is alot of money in reserve, but when asked in "jawab deyh program on geo" he

said i never said that rather i said that money has come not in reserve but in pakistan (to NGOs), who work for americans,

u know gave he permission to FBI to open offices in khi and other cities and now they are operating openly, i even know where are they exactly located, and

even SHOs are under them, and his gift to pak the zardari,
    allowed black Water.

He freezed gen.hameed gul n others,

he got millions of afghans, iraqis and paki killed by helping americans, he had no rite to take u turn on pk's kashmir, afghan policy, he ruined the nation,

he didnot even resist when indians were fencing the line of control which is illegal according to international law, line of control can never be fenced

that way, he let the indian give it the status of internation border, he never objected,on the following issues as well,

    indian were making damms

they were opening so called embassies, and others.

he went on giving kashmir as a gift to his father, mr. singh. (but singh

rejected saying we dont want kashmir in charity).

    Corruption:

bought a flat in london. millions of dollar hmmm ??

have bought a big house in london and got his carpet transfered to london

from chak shehzad a couple of days back coz he saw now he cannot come back.

brought all the peoples into parliament with him and named them as pml-q, evry1 know that they were all accused of curroption, by blackmailing.

sold steel mill worth 300 billion at 21 billion ??

whole habib bank at 40 billion, only habib bank plaza was of 45 billion wow amazing, to his wife's darling relative prince karimm agha khan.

ptcl 900 billion, for only 120 billion and that also with the condition that pay when on u earn ;)

K.E.S.C and the those who bought sold all the copper at scrape value and we are bearing hm.

i wont chant like othrs about akbar bughti, he did not kil him,

but lal masjid and jamia hafsa.

    missing persons.

he wanted to accept israel as well hmm.

he fled away from pak why ??

    weakened ISI

    went toal anti zia policy.

in zia's time whatever zia used to say american used to do,

in great musharraf's time whaterver american say he used to do ,, wow amazaing puppet leader.

never received any medal like sitar-e-jurrat or something like that.

had been found doing bad things while in army.

was a mqm boy used to visit 9.0 in his staff jeep when he was brigadier i think as said by Gen.T.P Khan at the time of operation secrets were leaked to mqm

    by who.

he brought a balloon of economy by americans filed air, the moment went the the ballooon came to its original position.
he could have invested all that money on institutions, on manufacuting industory, on agriculture and other instead he invested all the money in services

sectors in banks, mobile companies and others,

and whats so bad about mobile companies yes ppl earn, mobile comp take all the money and forein companies are now filling bags, so the money instead of being

invested is going out, same with the bank case, he artificialy made us a consuming society we were too already, now what no jobs ? if the money wud have been

invested in manufacturing and others we wud have thousands of jobs but ??

fake, artificial developments, we debate some other day,

    allah haafiz.

  • MB - 17 years ago

    @UZMA
I knew some MUSH fans will bring some deception like that as they do it in email groups these days:

Here are my questions to you on your figures:

Why you have compared only 1999 vs 2007/8 ?
    And here lies the deception

Why dont you compare since 1988 to begin with. That chart will also show you all FIGURES going UP in trend then my question is WHY ARE GOING BACK when all those DECEPTIVE DIGITs are going up?

Let me explain to you so you dont pollute other minds:

If 1999 there were x-thousand robberies in 2008 that is 10x-thousand
So will you now agree MUSH failed to provide security?

If there were x-hundred rape per day in 1999 , i 2008 it became 10x-hundred rape per day? Now will you admit MUSH failed misrebly to do at least one thing (on ground not the eye wash seat increaes in assembly) for 51% population?

If poverty was x-million people in 1999 its now 10x-million so pray who is eating ALL THAT DECEPTIVE growth you are tying to fool us with?

If there are 1000 people in a village with this distribution and income in 1999
    40 > poor , income 100 rupee per day = 4000 rupees
    50 > middle class 500 rupee per day = 25000 rupees
    10 > Elite or ruling class, 10K per day = 100000 rupees
    ------------------------------------- TOTAL = 129000 rupees

    And in 2008
    60 > poor , income 200 rupee per day = 12000 rupees
    30 > middle class 1000 rupee per day = 30000 rupees
    10 > Elite or ruling class, 100K per day = 1000000 rupees
    ----------------------------------- TOTAL = 1042000

Now calculate the decreciate in rupee since 1999
The gap between the (poor + middle) VS the ELITE
The rate of inflation and the rate of increase in populatoin vs rate of salary increase

and this will lead you the simple fact that the mere DIGITs you have tried to throw here never tells you about the components which make these total figures.

And who told you that dumping your country with loans and dollars is development?

If a person takes a loan to buy a car for 5 lac , Is he progressing or going back?
Is he not suppose to pay 5-lac PLUS some other amount in return?

If TELECOM industry boomed all over the world and so it did in PAK and added into national wealth what the heck MUSH's achievement in it?

Why are you trying to fool us with these stats? Why i should believe a corrupt SHAUKAT AZIZ when he tells me that ordinary man's earning has gone above 1000$

Why our education has gone down if it was all so rosy the picture. Why health, why every single institute has collapsed?

Dont scratch head too much........... look at sports.......... arts...... and other such domains....... they have gone down the gutter lane. Look at our cricket team, hockey team, squash now is as if we never had any champs here.

Dude, stop fooling yourself and others with these GROWING-digits and kindly bother to also explain the rate of currency devaluation and rate of inflation. If my salary was 10k in 99 and 20K now, have i progressed or gone back when inflation is up in skies and my currency 6 feet under?

Who told you literacy rate is 50% ? the never-to-trust gov?
In a country where a signature is the criteria of literacy , does 50 or 60 or even 80 makes sense?

There is no doubt INVESTMENT was high in some areas which gave us dollars but the multinationals are not in love with our country. They invest for penny for their own interest. The main question is WHAT MUSH DID FOR LOCAL INVESTERs and INDUSTRY. And to beging with did he actually bothered to think about it?
The power crisis we are facing now is one of his gifts. If he had a team of brains (and not spoons) they would tell him to think about how to help local investors and how to generate jobs by local help. What will you do if all these multinationals PACK and leave your country? Where all the jobless will go?

There is more COSMETICs in above figures you gave then any SUBSTANCE

    .

We should give a separate country to extremist mullahs and tailban supporters .. it is the only solution to get rid of these root causes of our failures.. all moderate and literate paskitanis should live in one country and work with each other for the progress all together..

We all moderates have Musarraf as their leader! Musharraf represents literate and moderate Pakistanis only ..

    We love you sir Musharraf!

  • Shariq - 17 years ago

You are right Duke Shellton... we are Pakistanis are full of hate.. and yes we are corrupt.. very corrupt.. some times I feel shame by declaring myself Pakistani when I am abroad.. we cannot tolerate each other.. we cannot see good in any person.. we cannot appreciate the good things..if we support someone else politically.. we can do anything.. can go to any extent to degrade our opponents without thinking that others are also Pakistanis and we are doing nothing good for Pakistan.. like take case of Musharraf.. he was a former president of Pakistan and well respected globally.. but in Pakistan, people just doing false propaganda about him and dont considering that they are actually hurting Pakistan not just Musharraf...

Dont see far for examples.. see India and China.. they have same types of political problems but they never malign or disrespect their leaders on media , Internet and in general public.. but we Paskitani call Kutta (dog) to our former president... WOW

  • Karamat - 17 years ago

I too believe that Musharf was a true leader, Musharaf served his whole life in the Army protecting the borders from inside and outside.
And when nation needed he also leaded Pakistan as leader. And did a great job.
What political leaders have done for its country, Musharaf had a vision on “Pakistan First”, i know he can give life die for this country. In 1965 war, in 1971 war he served with bravery, and than leaded Pakistan from 1999 to 2007.
I hope he can come back.

  • Sheely rahman - 17 years ago

I agree with Duke Shellton completely. Pakistanis are full of hatred against each other, against the west though they would have sold one arm and leg to be there, and anything which they may not agree. A nation full of intolerant people will not go far in today’s world. That day is not far when Pakistan may be divided into several smaller states as envisaged by US Army in their journal.

  • rehmdil - 17 years ago

i love musarraf becoz he is tha only one who thinks for tha balochistan and he did much for us as no body can.we al balochistnis r with u. long live musarraf

  • Duke Shellton - 17 years ago

The Problem is, Pakistanis are a Philosophically Corrupt, Characterless and crazy people. Unless its a lot hot air and false propaganda, it sounds like they are against Musharraf because of either his Ethnicity or because they are Mollaas or because they are Mentally retarded.

Actions of Pakistanis seem like they are a nation of Mentally imbalanced people, full of hate and bigotry against each other, the West and USA. If all this doesn’t change, I have no hope left for Pakistan and a time may come, when it could dis-integrate in to half a dozen countries.

  • Uzma - 17 years ago

MB, who said Muhsarraf was failed?
Failed is what 2 time governments of Nawaz and Benazir had been and now the current government is failed.. but for Musharraf.. his era was the best since Pakistan came into being.. only ignorants like you who believe his views of enlightenment moderation is wrong, you are supports of taliban and spreading false propaganda about Musharraf... just go out of your home and ask a common man who was better.. 2006 or 2009.. you will get your answer..

    @Shumaisa Malik
there is a big IF along with this "CAN" word
9 years were enough for him to do it , he failed. FULLSTOP
You want us to make PAK his experimental laboratory (or for the feudal military-politcal-bureaucratic setup's laboratory) , you are nuts

  • Shumaisa Malik - 17 years ago

I Would just like to add a saying from Sophocols :

"A MAN TESTED IN THE PAST CAN ACT WELL IN FUTURE"

MUSHARAFF SIR ONLY YOU ARE CAPABLE FOR THIS.....!!!!

    JEY PAKISTAN JEAY MUSHARRAF

  • Nazia asim - 17 years ago

Musharaf is the only inborn leader who has the capability to be the president of Pakistan as he has the courage to fight the enemy form front step as well as he use to handle the world in a very democratic manner for acheiving pakistan long term goals.

  • MB - 17 years ago

further to above , here is a MUSH style of answering questions he has no answer:

    - Whenever an anchor asks him a tough questions his typical reply is :
10 times in his interviews he is MUST to repeat these statements, although any anchor (except talat hussain or ifthikhar from jawabdeh) hardly asks him any difficult question because i am sure he will stop giving interviews then:
mei es ka jawab nahi dena chahunga
    mei details mai nahi parta
    mazi ko bhol jana chaiye
mei es pe koi comment nahi karunga

And this is a PERFECT proof of a man WHO KNOWS he has NO ANSWER actually. And to divert people more from article 6 he has this new COIN in the AIR of latest interview where he says the SUPPORT (money arms) from USA was used against INDIA. After the BRIGADIER billa drama this is a good plan to dirver the already over-diverted and mentally screwed nation.

    WELL DONE MUSH well done
    you rock!!

    Let us be clear here..
It is stupid to say that Musharraf is best for MUSLIM UMMAH! So called MUSLIM UMMAH are being continously screwed in Pakistan. None of the leaders are sincere to their own country. We are empty headed people with no vision and illiterate ministers and the head of the state... We need a revolution to kick these kind of ministers and Head of state out...Inflation and shortage of everything is here. We couldn't even provide clean water and electricity to our own people..Our conscious is dead. We tried each and everything. We get betrayed everytime. Can anyone tell me where are the mssing people. Can anyone tell me that providing clean water and electricity is very hard. We are a dead nation with unconscious leaders. We are blind and deaf people with very witty leaders!!! We are continously being supressed by outer forces and all we can hear is the fighting of the ministers on talk shows..What have they done in their tenure...All we need is DAMN ELECTRICITY AND CLEAN WATER.INDIA IS BUILDING DAMNS AROUND OUR COUNTRYAND ALL WE SEE IS THAT WE ARE INDULGED IN OUR OWN FREAKING SHITS! WE DON'T WANT TO HEAR THEIR FIGHTS ON TELEVISION AND CONTINOUS BLAMING. I THINK THEY ALL SHOULD BE EITHER KICKED OR HANGED! WE DON'T NEED THESE KINDS OF LUNATICS IN OUR COUNTRY!

    More achievements are :
He ensure the mafiaz grow and get stronger in all aspects of gov
He owns the title of successfully creating mafiaz like SUGAR MAFIA, FLOUR MAFIA, his achievement being 5 rupee roti
Since he was living at the support of terrorist MQM and corrupt and incompetent PMLq he ensured they take all benefits under his SUPERVISION.
MQM grew its militant wing more and more strong and its biggest proof came on 12 MAY.
12 MAY also reminds us of ASIA HITLER when he (after successfully achieving target during day) announced the POWER had been shown in KARACHI.
Yes, POWER, the same POWER which if taken away from THE MILITARY GENERALs makes their nights sleepless.
While ordinary pakistanis are scewred daily for ordinary crimes people like MUSH ZIA AYUB and the brothel owner YAHYA happily live playing golf.
That people like BILLAZ (BRIGADIER IMTIAZ) and EHTESHAAM BE-ZAMEERs and ADMIRAL MANSOORz live rest of their like enjoying clubs and night parties because they belong this FEUDAL POWER CIRCLE which has hijacked QUAIDs PAKISTAN and IQBALs DREAM.
While as SC chief justice is humiliated in broad day light because he negated the accept the feudal order on MARCH 9 people like ASLAM BAIG and HAMEED GULZ and DURAANIz who now openly admit their wrong doings are all happy hunting on MEDIA and proudly boast their "ACHIEVEMENTS"
People like AQ who are the puppets of this feudal military-bureaucratic setup will write on these things and if they do, do it as formality. All he knows is how to INVESTIGATE hard and deep and deep and bring every single act of POLITICIANs and humiliate them as much as possible so the justification of this feudal setup stays alive.
People like AQ and ZH are the typical cynical brainwashed products of the MULLA-MILITARY alliance which sees every single act in our country as a result of some ISRAELI INDIAN USA plot.
They will never touch the root of the evil (ESTABLISHMENT) they will only talk about the PRODUCT of it (NAWAZ BENAZIR MQM ANP MMA)

This ladies and gentlemen is the GAME BEING PLAYED for 60+ years now.

    UNDERSTAND IT
    or STAY IGNORANT

  • MB - 17 years ago

    Biggest achievements of MUSHARRAF:
    - He ensured the the FEUDAL MILITARY setup is strengthened by screwing every other org with military officers
    - He screwed the nation by feeding TALIBANs in NWFP and BALOSHISTAN to scare the AMERICANs of the and thus dump dollars into already OVER FILLED military belly.
    - He originated the IDEA of sellings our own men to USA for some good bucks
    - On one hand he let the TALIBAN do anything they want so as to put the TERRORIST fear in whole nation and thus establishing himself as the LAST SAVIOR and on other hand made sure none of the TOP taliban leadership is killed else the GAME would end and THE JUSTIFICATION of his STAY would be nullified.
    - The proof of above is the fact that the MULLAZ won in NWFP and BALOCHISTAN and this was the part of the plan by the ESTABLISHMENT.
    - Another simple proof is the LAL MASJID DRAMA. First he and the MILITARY establishment ensure that enough panic and fear is generated by allowing the TALIBANs to gather arms and human resources at LAL MASJID ( just few km to ISI head quarter) and then the final showdown was deliberately aligned with the July ruling of SUPREME COURT in July (so as to divert nations mind from SC ruling) but unfortunately the stupid MULLAs attacked the officers and the operation ended 10 days ahead (July 11).
    - MUSH obviously knew the mullaz are no match to the MILITARY but dragging this issue for 6 months gave him so many benefits which are
    1. Made Americans believe that the TALIBAN thread is well and alive and thus they need MUSH in power as PROXY (or puppet) to do the WORK.
    2. In turn made PAK case strong for MORE DOLLARs (which obviously like always end in MILITARY pockets )
    3. Diverted the whole nation from SC case to LAL MASJID very wisely
    4. Made AMERICANs believe that MUSH can really deliver and crush the MULLAZ and therefore its important USA to make sure ARMY is in power in PAKISTAN and there is no need for a crap like democracy. PMLq is sufficient for an eyewash.
    5. MUSH turned a personal cunning drama into a NATIONAL CAUSE and therefore no one will ever point fingers at him for the just/unjust killings of innocents in operation.
    - This much for LAL MASJID. Now everyone knows about the bugti murder. It was one of the classic MILITARY mentality exposing stories.
    - MUSH probably is the only terrorist president who announces beforehand on TV of his murder plan (wow !! ) on bugti and guess what he actually gets BUGTI murder and to screw the already screwed nation rushes things under carpet on the pretext of elimination of SARDARI system and all that BULLSHIT. As if we dont know who harbors the WHOLE FEUDAL setup in PAKISTAN. Obviously the GENERALs and the grade 17-22 beucratic machinery does.
    - MUSH another luck was the emergency of TELECOM industry all over the world. And they made us believe as if its their achievement as if THE TELECOM. industry was waiting MUSH orders to penetrate our market. And as if it was ZIA;s achievement that the TV and CABLE industry boomed in 80s.
    - MUSH let banks loose and plunder the nation in a perfect corporate manner but making the whole nation dying for luxuries (and since they didnt have money they borrowed from banks) just about everything and flooded cities with CARs and later on called it A PROOF OF IMPROVEMENT in common man's life though the truth was SHAUKAT AZIZ was screwing the nation more under loans.
    - Instead of good some real work in health and education the nation is screwed with mobiles and luxury items and while he was a conservative by mind (being a retard SELFISH GENERAL like all) he let country loose on nudity and directionless freedom and called it ENLIGHTENMEND and MODERATION.
    - While he failed in all 7 points he set before journey his fans for some nonsense reasons try to exaggerate him as a GREAT LEADER.
    - The truth is he was just another COWARD dictator who ruled for all SELFISH reasons and acted like just another WESTERN puppet in our history.

lol@ khan Mohd... to add something " MORE " in your meager knowledge.. Imran is the ONLY ONE among all the politicians who has been consistently criticizing western interference. Calling a Muslim a yahoodi is a sin, which you people do openly without fearing God.

  • Arif Samana - 17 years ago

I will vote for Imran Khan, because he is the man who can deliver in Pakistan, but in the electoral process of ouf country, he cannot succeed, because he donsnt have fuederals and lords with him, but I wonder those who have voted for Musharaf, becaue he was the most controversial presidents of Pakistan, the person who has sold our daughters and sisters to Americans, if people like him, i think they dont have any brain or sense of Honor within them. Our Commando president surrendered on one call to USA, he is not even capable of a Councilor seat, butthe nation we are, he is the only leader we deserve.

  • Kiran Javed - 17 years ago

Sonia Haq You will definitely be caught by Allah on the Day of Judgment for the "Gheebat" you just did. We are not here to talk about anybody's personal life. I dont why people like you start pinpointing Imran's past life and then how ridiculous it is to call him an agent. You people really need help. I didnt even bother reading the whole junk you wrote. Expand your knowledge, and learn something about all your beloved politicians including this forum's hot favourite Musharaf, what he did to this poor country and what he did to you as an individual. Imran's life has been open to everyone and famous people like him are considered everybody's property so it is easy for all fool minded people to raise fingers. A bit of research is required. I am sure it will help you in changing your mind, and please stop getting influenced by someone else's opinions, make your own opinion. I wonder why Imran is wasting his life on people like us. But then... It is the love... love for Pakistan which is hardly left in Pakistanis...

  • Mohammad Ali Awan - 17 years ago

Mr Musharaf was selling Steel mills of pakistan for peanuts to his associates and when intervened by cheif justice of pakistan he not only sacked him twice but got the cheif justice and his family home prisioned for months along with many other judges and their families. And Mr musharaf is the same person who got the cheif justice insulted and manhandled by third class police officials. Dont forget Mr musharaf is the same person who sold lots of paksiatnis to america for US Dollars (Missing persons case) and pakistan has become hell since 2001 because of Mr musharaf's association with the US for afghanistan's war.

  • Rizwan Shaikh - 17 years ago

  • Sonia Haq - 17 years ago

Imran Khan is a Zionist agent in Paksitan whoes agenda is nothing else but to destabilize Pakistan. he has nothing good to offer and just criticize others to stay in politics. He was a pro Westerner all his life, heavy drinker, night life addict, a well known play boy.. suddenly changed his life style and turned to politics after meeting Sir James ( a well known Zionist Jew) who became his father in law later. Just peak in his background and try to find the missing link WHY he got sudden change after meeting Jamica's Father Sir James???

Further you can investigate his intentions by observing the pattern of politics he is doing in Pakistan.

My Dear Pakistanis, be vigilant.. dont fall in traps so easily.. no one in the above list is a well wisher of Pakistan.. Musharraf is little better because he identified Zionist traps and resisted those and finally got removed from the scene.

    Please open your eyes..

  • Usama - 17 years ago

Dont know why dint these fools, the 58% supporters of Musharraf vote for him in Feb 2008 elections

Jehanzeb Khan, You ignorant chootiya, go learn what international politics is and see how many choices Musharraf had after 9/11.. was it better to give path to USA or was that better to fight both India and USA armies after 9/11??

Regarding Afia Siddque, she was arrested in Afghanistan due to her own agendas.. nothing to do with Musharraf.

Regarding Lal Masjid.. if Lal Masjid was wrong than Malakand and Swat operation was also wrong.. so why people of Swat celebrating victory??

You Muhsrraf haters dont have facts and figures against Musharraf.. you chottiya log just repeat the same bull shit you have been told by Hamid Mir and party.. Can you prove any corruption on Musharraf? Can you give any evidence or name a few missing persons whom you know?? Can you give any evidence or name of any single person whom you said Musharraf sold to US? My dear brother, atleast speak some truth in Ramzzan!
