But if he decided to stay same as the Gen.Fonseka forever, even in another couple of yeares, most People will still remember the Gen.Fonseka. But Politices Fonseka will forget easily to most of people including his new best friendes UNP AND JVP memberes in future.

I am so sad to see the fate of most respected war hero, Sarath F.He is digging his owh grave.He has fallen down to a cheap politician taking the position of Mervin Silva.He does not seem to have any logical political ideology other than repeating cock and bull stories just as his new masters like Ranil ,Somawannsa and Mangala always do.
It is obvious that to be a hero for ever one should have atleast a bit of wisdom but unfortunately what Sarath F does not have is the same.

"I won the 4th Eelam war"
Fonseka said this at UNP –JVP meeting of women’s representatives at the JR Jayawardena Center.
See how crazy he is. He did not win the war. This is the list to prove it.
1. He would not even get Army leadership if Mahinda was not the president.
2. He could not do anything if Mahinda decided to stop the war.
3. Mahinda faced to international power like a real lion. He was the one who made all the decisions about the war. Fonseka could not go beyond that.
4. Even a child knows Gotabhays planned everything. He was the big brain behind all success.
5. Fonseka could not win the war with out Navy and Air Force. They all worked together. Gotabhaya handled this. Gotabhay also handled country's security to face anything.
6. Fonseka just did his job as a Army leader. He did a great job but he did not sacrifice anything. Real heroes were soldiers who fought in the war. So many soldiers scarified their lives for the country. Today, so many families lost their sons, husbands and fathers. This is their victory. Not Fonseka's single victory.
7. Sri Lankan people gave their maximum support to President Mahinda those days. (Except few people who tried to destroy everything) So this is everyone's victory. People started to call Mahinda " a king". It came from our hearts because we could not bear the happiness. We respect all three forces including Fonseka but we did not call Fonseka "a king" because we know Mahinda was the one who made all the decisions. Fonseka could not even give one command without Mahinda's approval.
So Is it right to say "I won the war" ? Some times people experience many different mental problems. This may be one of those things.

Your chosen name indicates what kind of person you are. Fonseka will be a hitlor if he win. He is well experienced man for Army but he is not the only one. There are many good officers in the Army. However, Fonseka does not even have a Montessori experience on politics. (Ahala kiyannam)
Fonseka does not care about Sri Lanka. He just want to show people his power. He has a mental illness. He is thirsty for power. He cannot bear to lose it. Think what will happen if this man get this much power. Oh! God. I do not even want to think about Sri Lanka's future if this man win.

Yes kh , you are totally correct.SF is a two toung man.He cannot be trusted any more.His policies are highly volatile.His contradicting comments show his ulterior objectives.The most dangerous comment he made recently is that he would release all the LTTE suspects detained in rehabilitation camps and those who are in jails for prosecution.
The govt is still working out this problem smoothly.They have a clear cut plan and still are on a run to arrest the international LTTE leaders and to break the int. network. And also they have properly planned rehabilitate those 9000 TLLE carders and about 2000 hard core LTTEers are to be prosecuted.This narrow-minded SF has agreed with proLTTE Mano Ganeson to release all those LTTEers if he comes to power.

UNP is an extreem capitalist party and JVP pretends themselves as Markxist party or socialist party ( realy they follow not " samajawadaya but eershawadaya).They never can make an alliance if they follow true political ideology that they claim.But they can change everything for petty political advantages.JVP and the UNP leader have different personal objectives which do not benifit the country.
After the presidential election the general election will be held.If JVP contest alone they would get only one or two seats.But if they come under alliance they will get more than twenty seats like they did with SLFP last time.This is the JVP plan.Those guys do not want to lose MP posts.They are enjoying this post while the party members are taken for ride.
UNP was a better political party before Ranil became the leader.Ranil destroyed UNP and the whole country.

Sri Lanka will be in very unstable condition. I heard many stories about Fonseka's relationships with some Army and Navy officers. I think there are many problems going on between him and some other officers. Think about the situation if Fonseka win.

Can someone help me here. Is Anura Kumara Dissanayake JVP or UNP? He talks for both now. I honestly did not believe JVP supported UNP when I heard that rumor. I cannot believe my eyes and my ears now.
I have no personal problems with UNP at all. I started to dislike UNP for 2 main reasons. They did not take any action to stop 1983 problems and people suffered 30 years for that. That's the main reason LTTE got that much international support at the beginning. The other reason is I cannot forget 1989. How many young men were killed. Burned to death using tires. There are many other reasons now. But these are the main reasons.
I am not even JVP. I do not understand how these people support UNP today like this. I agree they have one common expectation. To throw Mahinda out. UNP is doing that for another reason but JVP. They want to take the revenge. So they do not care to bring UNP again for this. Do you really think they care about the country. I feel sorry for Vijeweera and other boys who scarified their life for these people.

Ranil gave half of the country to LTTE in writing but Mahinda saved our country from ruthless terrorists.Ranil provided everthing to LTTE to fight against our army but Mahinda gave all LTTE leaders death panalty.
As far as the economy is concerned Ranil didn't do anything to develop the economy but sold out all profit making govt enterpises to his friends and kith and keens at rock bottom prices.He did not give a singal job in gove sector istead curtailed imensely but Mahinda has given more that 500000 govt jobs and thereby was able to minimise unemployment rate.If Ranil were in power we could have seen another youth unrest in our country.In Ranil's period he did not do any large scale or even small scale project but Mahinda while waging the war has launched massive projects like four harbors,power stations,hydropower projects,air ports ,highways and so forth.
While there is a big collapse in world economy Mahinda has been able to maintain a good growth rate in the economy.
Lot of people talk about corruption.Usually that comes up when country has massive projects in progress.I don't say there isn't any corruption but I know that it is immensly exagerated. If there are such corruptions it is the duty of the opposition to report them to the commissioner of Bribery or Corruption.But this is just a massive mud slinging campaign.This propaganda campaign is invoved by certain proLTTE NGO ,proltte elemants and some traitors of this country.
They are misleading and trying to brainwash general public by putting baseless, false allegations in air and repeating them thousands of times through their paid media and as gossips.
Finally I hope our people are intelligent enough to understand these cheap tactics.

I feel being a patriotic and a neutral sri lankan to discuss my honest opinion in this forum regarding the presidential battle
I hope most of the writers are ordinary sri lankan like me without enjoying special priviledges and powers from the government.
If you and me are caught for any crime in sri lanka what could be our situation then??????????????
We will be convicted in the courts and sentenced to imprisonment for longer period.
Now my question is that the politician who are ruling were rarely convicted for any crime although they are involoved immensly into these acts.
It is funny law in our country being divided to priveledged and under priviledged people.
According my assesment many politicians in the ruling party especially Rajapaksha and co. involved with millions of public money embezelment and other crimes.
Why can't we bring them to books. Why only ordinary civilian like you and me are punished by the court for a small crime not them. If you look at the prisoners in sri lanka most of them are convicted and punished for long term prison term for small crimes.
What kind of punishment we must give these shrewd and highly corrupted politicians.

I think Anaconda loves Sri Lanka a lot. Anybody who loves their motherland madly would act this way. He cannot control his anger because some people (I do not think Sinhalese parents gave birth to them) try to destroy this country. They want this country to be unstable so they can go to next point. Yes ..we respect General Sarath Fonseka as a brave warrior who played a major role entrusted to him by HE President.He seemed to have devoloped military tactics like setting ambush,surprise attacks and small scale and large scale offensive operations to destroy terrorists.
He also abducted proLTTE media personnel who criticised General and the forces...and those acts whether ethical or unethical,legal or illegal worked well to destroy terrorists and their network....so General has shown little tolerance toward criticism....even if his reactions and counter attacks worked well under war situation those would become a massive threat to democracy if he comes to power.And also his megalomaniac charactoristics would ruin the country.
Anyway I am confident that SF will not get atleast 30% of votes.

I am sorry for using degraded words toward Minister Perea and SF in this public forum....anyway they deserve it. these people seem to be the followers of General Fonseka who has shown his indiscipled behaviour and inferior qualities immensely with in these few days...He has started blame game that kind of thing is never expected from a high ranking military personnel like this.Anyway his cheap personal objective seem to have put him in to this degraded position...He has to learn a lot from persons like Mr.Gotabhaya. He is a real gentleman and a well disciplined man.He always maintains the respect of his position and so is the HE President.
Up to now people did not know much about General.Now he is being exposed.It is the common beleif that one's personal life reads his charactor and those are the matters which makes a man a good or bad leader.In military life those are not much concerned but military tactics and skills and sometimes persons with ulterior objectives can step up to the highest position cutting through others like Idiameen.If somebody looks in to Generals life he resembles Idiameen, the dangerous military dictator. Now some of our narrow-minded short-sighted idiots are going to make anather Idiameen in Sri Lanka...but i am 100% sure that the majority is intelligent enough to understand this vicious conspiracy and they will definitely defeat this.

Most of aggressive comments were written by Fonska's supporters. One person said Fonseka fought the war. Fonseka did his job. If there was no Mahinda, there was no Fonseka. Mahinda was the one who gave that job to Fonseka. Fonseka did not even think about that because he has no moral values. Sri Lanka is a Buddhist country. I am not Buddhist but majority is Buddhist so we have to admit this is a Buddhist country. Fonseka has no values to control a Buddhist country. By the way, Fonseka or Mahinda did not fight the war. It was our poor soldiers. Thousands of soldiers died for the country.
Mahinda was the one who took all the decisions. Fonseka could not do anything if Mahinda decided to stop the war. Gotabhaya was the one who planned everything. He was the real man behind this success.
I am not saying Mahinda's government is the best. What I am saying is compare to all others he is good. Sarath Fonseka will bring Ranil. All our soldiers will rise from their graves because they did not die for that. All the tiger supporters want to make the country unstable. They are doing everything. I believe they are writing and voting here. That's for sure.

I have read all the comments against Mahinda. They all talked about corruptions. But they could not say one thing that Mahinda did to destroy Sri Lanka. Compare to all previous leaders (After 1970) Mahinda is the best one. Mahinda loves this country. We love this country more than anything. That's the only reason we support Mahinda. Sarath F. cannot run a government by himself. He already said he is going to work with UNP. We do not want Ranil to run SL again. Our army did not sacrifice their lives for that.

See how crazy he is. He did not win the war. This is the list to prove it.
1. He would not even get Army leadership if Mahinda was not the president.
2. He could not do anything if Mahinda decided to stop the war.
3. Mahinda faced to international power like a real lion. He was the one who made all the decisions about the war. Fonseka could not go beyond that.
4. Even a child knows Gotabhays planned everything. He was the big brain behind all success.
5. Fonseka could not win the war with out Navy and Air Force. They all worked together. Gotabhaya handled this. Gotabhay also handled country's security to face anything.
6. Fonseka just did his job as a Army leader. He did a great job but he did not sacrifice anything. Real heroes were soldiers who fought in the war. So many soldiers scarified their lives for the country. Today, so many families lost their sons, husbands and fathers. This is their victory. Not Fonseka's single victory.
7. Sri Lankan people gave their maximum support to President Mahinda those days. (Except few people who tried to destroy everything) So this is everyone's victory. People started to call Mahinda " a king". It came from our hearts because we could not bear the happiness. We respect all three forces including Fonseka but we did not call Fonseka "a king" because we know Mahinda was the one who made all the decisions. Fonseka could not even give one command without Mahinda's approval.
So Is it right to say "I won the war" ? Some times people experience many different mental problems. This may be one of those things.

I have nothing to do with Mahinda. I like him because he is a genuine man. He was the only politician who had a backbone to face international power. I have no personal problems with UNP at all. I started to dislike UNP for 2 main reasons. They did not take any action to stop 1983 problems and people suffered 30 years for that. If there are such corruptions it is the duty of the opposition to report them to the commissioner of Bribery or Corruption.But this is just a massive mud slinging campaign.This propaganda campaign is invoved by certain proLTTE NGO ,proltte elemants and some traitors of this country.

I hope most of the writers are ordinary sri lankan like me without enjoying special priviledges and powers from the government.
If you and me are caught for any crime in sri lanka what could be our situation then??????????????
We will be convicted in the courts and sentenced to imprisonment for longer period.
Now my question is that the politician who are ruling were rarely convicted for any crime although they are involoved immensly into these acts.

Up to now people did not know much about General.Now he is being exposed.It is the common beleif that one's personal life reads his charactor and those are the matters which makes a man a good or bad leader.In military life those are not much concerned but military tactics and skills and sometimes persons with ulterior objectives can step up to the highest position cutting through others like Idiameen.If somebody looks in to Generals life he resembles Idiameen, the dangerous military dictator. Now some of our narrow-minded short-sighted idiots are going to make anather Idiameen in Sri Lanka...but i am 100% sure that the majority is intelligent enough to understand this vicious conspiracy and they will definitely defeat this.
Most of aggressive comments were written by Fonska's supporters. One person said Fonseka fought the war. Fonseka did his job. If there was no Mahinda, there was no Fonseka. Mahinda was the one who gave that job to Fonseka. Fonseka did not even think about that because he has no moral values. Sri Lanka is a Buddhist country. I am not Buddhist but majority is Buddhist so we have to admit this is a Buddhist country. Fonseka has no values to control a Buddhist country. By the way, Fonseka or Mahinda did not fight the war. It was our poor soldiers. Thousands of soldiers died for the country.
Mahinda was the one who took all the decisions. Fonseka could not do anything if Mahinda decided to stop the war. Gotabhaya was the one who planned everything. He was the real man behind this success.
