  • Arleen Barretto - 16 years ago

Hell no!!! Only facists would like a gun ban. Look at whats happening at Jamaica. The govenment banned guns, and now its the murder capital of the world. Gangs carry illegal guns continously and the civilians are the ones who die violently and raped before being killed. I will agree to a ban if and only if the cops can protect us 24/7. Go after the illegal guns, not the legal ones. Go after the NPA's MILF, MNLF guns which are unlicensed. Go to MINDANAO and enforce your gun ban there. I dare all of those against to go to Basilan or any part of Mindanao and tell them to surrender their illegal guns or have them license it. Just be ready to loose your head in the process. Oh by the way incoming President and fellow practical shooting enthusiast, NOYNOY AQUINO is against any ban on firearms. Hopefully, like the US constitution we be given the right to bear arms. Remember the martial law? Guns were registered then.....confiscated. Just like Hitler did. BAN THE CRIMINALS not us law abiding citizens -Jason Barretto using wife facebook account

  • Jose Palaganas - 16 years ago

Looking at the hards facts and statistics; jurisdictions that have adopted strict gun control measures (i.e., U.K., Australia, New York, Calif., Wash. D.C.) have seen an increase in so-called "violent crimes" while those with permissive gun laws have seen a decline in such crimes (i.e, Switzerland, Israel, Texas, etc.). NO TO RESTRICTIVE GUN LAWS!!!!

  • Vince Pinto - 16 years ago

Give the PNP more resources to fight crime. In the meantime, leave law-abiding citizens alone, so that we can defend ourselves, our families and our homes. When criminals strike, it's already too late to call the Police, we we need the tools to defend ourselves.

  • Bong Salcedo - 16 years ago

Total Gun Ban or Not, CRIMINALS or BGs will always have and carry guns whatever means and ways. . .

  • Ros Vivero - 16 years ago

total gun ban will only benefit the lawless elements of society.

  • Edison Lao - 16 years ago

Maybe this anti-gun groups are the number1 supporters of those criminals out there, can these anti-gun groups protect the Filipino citizens from these criminals or baka tinatamad lang mag trabahoang mga authorities natin to protect its citizens kaya they want a total gun ban?, what about those good abiding Filipino citizens who follows the gov't procedures to bear arms and protect their families and properties? Why deprived us to bear arms and not those criminals??

  • Francisco Rodriguez - 16 years ago

Isang malaking NO.

  • Ace Valenzuela - 16 years ago

    The right to bear arms...

Para sa ating lahat po ito...

BAN the CRIMINALS!!! not the GUNS (Responsible GUN owners)

  • Floresto Florendo - 16 years ago

97% of crimes committed involving guns - guns involved unlicensed!
0nly 3% of gun-related violence attributable to licensed, legit firearms! And the people involved could easily be apprehended owing to the records of the guns in the keeping of the PNP (LOGIC WOULD DICTATE THAT THERE WOULD BE NO INTENTIONAL ABUSE INVOLVING A LICENSED GUN).

I STRONGLY VOTE NO TO TOTAL GUN BAN!

BUT I'D VOTE YES TO TOTAL UNLICENSED GUN BAN (which should in the first place be what PNP should be pouring its energies on!

  • Jun Manongas - 16 years ago

Gun Ban is a Pro to CRIMINALS!!!, this just giving way to criminals and corrupt people to take advantage of weak people and the innocent people... GunBan is not the solution in controlling criminals, all you have done is to take off the guns from the responsible owners... do you think criminals will follow this damn idea of GunBan thing??... how many percentage of licensed guns being involved in any crimes?.. most guns involved are the loose ones, and do you think if you will be the criminal, will you use a licensed gun to do the crime?... hmmmm hey!! please use your mind....

  • Victor Makimkim - 16 years ago

Permanent gun ban is NOT the solution in controlling criminality in our country. Hence what had happened was the gun ban only controlled the responsible gun owners community (and we comply with the law) but the bad guys, the lawless and criminals are still and freely roaming our streets and executes their evil crimes. Without the gun ban we can even spoil or prevent crime and protect and defend our family and loveones from these BG's.

  • Gino Castandiello - 16 years ago

"He who goes unarmed in paradise had better be sure that is where he is."

some groups seem to forget that CRIMINALS do not follow rules like the GUN BAN. some groups seem to forget that the PNP is not always there to protect the citizens.

    NO TO GUN BAN
YES TO RESPONSIBLE OWNERSHIP OF GUNS

  • Googie Allarey - 16 years ago

Why leave us defenseless, just because the police cannot do their jobs? Criminals are not endagered species. After all, they know that crime is a hazardous profession.

  • My husband is a responsible gun owner so I voted NO.

  • Laurence Ramos - 16 years ago

Not onlu no, but FUCK NO!

  • Scudd Terub - 16 years ago

no to gunban!!!and you antigun people do you know who are happy when you voted yes to gunban?you are just making the lawless people very happy, you are making the phil.a big hinting ground for hold-upers,snachers,rapist,etc. do youknow why?,because their are the only kind of people who will have guns,,,we progun might sometime save your ass,if we will see you in the hands of criminals, they might hesitate to victimize you,,FYI! even lawless people can sign-up the facebook and they surely voted yes to total gunban,in favor for them hello

  • Benedict Manning - 16 years ago

If the permanent gun ban can make criminals use weapons other than guns, sige ba!

  • Rolando Raganit - 16 years ago

  • Darwin Pasco - 16 years ago

Basta ba sa mismong oras na kailangan namin ng tulong ng pulis, AND NOT A FRACTION OF A SECOND LATER, darating sila para iligtas kami, then I would gladly leave my gun at home. Even then hindi ako papayag na sa total gun ban.

  • Leoveur Jamias - 16 years ago

No Way! Give us (Citizens) the right to protect ourselves from lawless individuals and criminals.

  • Jun Alkuino - 16 years ago

Hindi puede. Paano na namin idepensa ang aming sarili.

  • Jack Queen - 16 years ago

  • Norman De Leon - 16 years ago

    no for total gun ban...................

  • Xavier Neil Croox - 16 years ago

    yes!!!!!!

  • Mariano Pineda - 16 years ago

Criminals, thugs and the likes would very much like a permanent gun ban policy because their victims would be defenseless. Makes their job easier and less hazardous...

  • Jay Rubio - 16 years ago

Add a comment...it's against a person's rights to protect his/her life and property. it wouldn't eradicate criminality but it will embolden outlaws instead. The gov't should stop corruption within its ranks. if military and police personnels are well paid, well trained and well equipped, then criminals will think twice to do their deed. Go after the outlaws and not to responsible gun owners like us. We PROGUNS, practical shooters and gun enthusiasts knows the rules and capable marksman than security guards and some police officers. We can be force multipliers as well.

  • Marlon Moncada - 16 years ago

if they can assure me 100% that I can sleep at night peacefully without thinking that no one will rob my house or harm my family, i'll vote for a permanent gun ban, but since they cant, no way! no to gun ban!

  • Jay Rubio - 16 years ago

NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!! if they cant protect my family from Bad Guys..........i will

  • Audrey Hidalgo - 16 years ago

what the f..... it does not eradicate crime but instead a useless measure... panahon ng gun ban madami parin natumbang tao whether u like it or not hindi matitigil yan hanggat hindi pinagtutuunan ng pansin ng kapulisan... paano na mga tulad namin responsible people knows the rules pertaining guns...

  • Richard Domingo - 16 years ago

banning guns and/or replicas doesnt eliminate or reduces crime but rather the police visibility at various checkpoiints is the real score of reducing it...i will never support this insane idea of TOTAL GUNBAN, NO TO A GUNLESS SOCIETY...kung gusto ng PNP ng gunban, dapat they will only carrry firearms on tour of duty, after your duty iiwan nyo mga baril ninyo, tignan ko kung hindi ka manginig sa takot kapag tinambangan ka na...dahil for another very sure reason, law abiding citizens ONLY are the one who will follow, and never those crimininals and HIGHER OFFICIALS!!!

  • Mario Sunit - 16 years ago

    A big no no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dondi Mencias - 16 years ago

Unless R.P. has a constitution similar to that of the U.S. which allows it citizens to bear arms against a Gov't that is oppressive to it's people .... then you folks have a problem.

  • Geronimo Dogup - 16 years ago

Pag may Total Gun Ban, mga Law Abiding Citizens lang ang sumusunod. Criminals and the like tiyak siguradong Hindi susunod!!!

Id Rather pull my gun than call the cops and die waiting for them to come! Worst, cops nowadays are the criminals themselves. So protect and defend my self and family at all cost!

  • Ricky Lim - 16 years ago

If ever this stupid law is passed the criminal elements out there will be more aggressive knowing all law-abiding citizens are defenseless, the element of doubt whether their target will be able to defend himself/herself will be erased.

  • Peejay Manalo - 16 years ago

i don't own a gun but i shouldn't be deprived of the right to own one to protect myself if I find it necessary.
