@andreita linda they definitely seem to be quite aggressive on here, but then so do the Edward fans :( It's kind of embarrassing really, because I know lots of Damon fans who are really cool and I am one of them ;) I also know tons of Edward fans who are really cool aswell. I think this site is bringing the worst out in everyone. This poll is just for fun, at the end of the day nobody is going to remember who won this thing because it really isn't important. I just think everyone needs to take a breather and relax. It was really cool to meet them, I have also met James Lafferty, Bethany Joy Galeotti, Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart, Nina DoBrev and Paul Wesley and they were all really lovely. My vote is for Edward/Rob :) I just think he is so sexy and I love, love, love Edward/Rob so much. Rob is just so cool and friendly. I met him twice and he is so normal and sweet and I used to think he was sexy before I met him, well it is nothing compared to being so close to him that I could smell his yummy woodsy aftershave. I was so tempted to lick his neck, but I refrained. I didn't want to seem to crazy, lol. I also think Ian is cute to and I have met him aswell, you can say I somewhat of a vamprie lover, but I definitely preferred Rob's laid back approach to Ian's very over-confident manner.

Well, it's no doubt that Edward is going to win this game, because like many of you have already stated, Twilight has like 5 years of popularity and fans on TVD (in fact, a lot of Twilight fans - especially those from other countries- probably don't know who Damon is or what The Vampire Diaries is. Of course they're going to vote for what they are familiar with). It was to be expected from the start. However, just seeing Damon getting this far has made me so proud to be a Damon and TVD fan!! He got passed Angel and Eric, two really sexy and well known vampires, to the final round!! How awesome is that? That alone is a lot of recognition for Damon right there, so I'm not sure why a lot of fans are upset about it - I know it'd be great to see Damon win the overall title, but coming into second place against something that has a much bigger fanbase is a huge win for something that has only really just started, in my opinion. I've seen people commenting and saying that this poll alone has given Damon/TVD A LOT of recognition to both Twilight fans and also fans of other characters/series that were part of this bracket game, and I totally agree. What it comes down to in the end, is that I will be cheering Damon/Ian on just for making it this far, even if he doesn't win! Damon and TVD has a LONG way to go and it's only just the beginning. Don't worry my fellow fans, Damon will get his time to shine :)

@andreita linda they definitely seem to be quite aggressive on here, but then so do the Edward fans :( It's kind of embarrassing really, because I know lots of Damon fans who are really cool and I am one of them ;) I also know tons of Edward fans who are really cool aswell. The twlight books are only good as a sedative or to even out a table with a short leg.

Well, it's no doubt that Edward is going to win this game, because like many of you have already stated, Twilight has like 5 years of popularity and fans on TVD (in fact, a lot of Twilight fans - especially those from other countries- probably don't know who Damon is or what The Vampire Diaries is. Of course they're going to vote for what they are familiar with). It was to be expected from the start. However, just seeing Damon getting this far has made me so proud to be a Damon and TVD fan!! He got passed Angel and Eric, two really sexy and well known vampires, to the final round!! How awesome is that? That alone is a lot of recognition for Damon right there, so I'm not sure why a lot of fans are upset about it - I know it'd be great to see Damon win the overall title, but coming into second place against something that has a much bigger fanbase is a huge win for something that has only really just started, in my opinion. I've seen people commenting and saying that this poll alone has given Damon/TVD A LOT of recognition to both Twilight fans and also fans of other characters/series that were part of this bracket game, and I totally agree. What it comes down to in the end, is that I will be cheering Damon/Ian on just for making it this far, even if he doesn't win! Damon and TVD has a LONG way to go and it's only just the beginning. Don't worry my fellow fans, Damon will get his time to shine :)
