I'm glad to see Thomas Gibson still at the front of this race! The comments, however, make me sad. It's entirely possible, because someone above commented that TG fans must be cheating because there are more TVD comments, that TG fans are simply voting rather than commenting. Like some of the other CM followers have pointed out, we're on multiple fan sites and pages, and quite a few of us are on twitter and livejournal. We're directing our friends and fellow fans to continue to vote. I've recieved the "thanks, your vote's already been counted" message as well. That doesn't stop me from trying because I want to see him get his due. Go TG!
I'm fed up of all the "He's so good on TVD" comments. Tell me some other things he's done please? Then you can judge properly. There are a million things I can tell you Mr Gibson's done, and he's been amazing and UNRECOGNISED for every single one of them. For longer than Mr Wesley has been alive. I'm sorry TVD fans, but THAT is under-reated.
I do not understand, I vote, I vote and Paul comes down instead of rising. There is a problem with the votes? How come that he so much fell so not enough time. Thomas is incredible, and way more underrated! I don't watch TVD and I know who Paul Wesley is. Not sure if it's the other way around for those who don't watch CM! He deserves it more than Paul.
@Dina nice statement about the Paul fans not crying foul when he was beating Jared by 20%. You are right on that one. I said last evening that I did not think the votes are being rigged. Thomas has a lot of fans who have watched him thru many years. It was nice to see he still has a nice lead over Paul. Thomas fans are doing well with their voting. Could it be that the Damon/Elena fans are voting against Paul I have seen references to that theory. Anyhow, Thomas fans keep doing what you are doing and hopefully Thomas will win this round he deserves it.

Both great actors and currently starring on AMAZING shows! But I have to vote for Paul.. because I think anyone who watches Criminal Minds will recognize Thomas Gibson as a great actor.. while most won't even give the Vampire Diaries a chance and those that do just think Paul Wesley is hot.. over looking the fact that he's actually a really great actor too. Therefore, he is the more "under-appreciated" actor of the two.

@LC a teeny bopper?? Paul is 28. He plays someone in his late teens...because he's that gorgeous. I'm a Delena fan...but more accurately a Salvatore fan. I think Paul is a brilliant actor...the break up scene in Plan B episode was stellar acting and I cried it was that moving. The emotion was so real. And as for the fan base being young....as someone mentioned. Well, I'm 41. I've watched CM a few times...but I prefer The Closer or Law & Order or The Mentalist to it. They talk about being a vampire craze...but excluding HBO..this is the ONLY vampire show on TV right now. And hello? HOW many criminal/crime drama shows are on tv now??? I CANNOT believe that Paul is losing. Paul deserves to win this more then anyone. He's so under-appreciated on his own show, it's not even funny. THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS POLL! It has been interesting to read everyones views on who they like. I just went on to see how the poll is going and Thomas is winning which is great for him. I chose him over Paul. To me Paul Wesley is more underrated than Thomas Gibson for the simple fact that Thomas Gibson's shows such as Dharma&Greg or Criminal Minds are popular worldwide, they're aired in Europe and many other countries, not only USA...what about Paul? sadly he took part in tv-shows which never aired outside USA...TVD is the only exception and it's pretty new because it started a year ago! so it's pretty obvious that Paul is more understimated than Thomas, which fanbase extends in so many countries...personally I watched all Dharma&Greg series and something from criminal minds!...whereas on my country TVD airs only on the pay-tv (just to make an example)...I dont know if I can explain myself clearly enough, since, as I said, English is not my mother language...anyway Im just saying that I hope that Paul Wesley will become more popular with this show, because he deserves success, since his previous acting performances in the last ten years were very high level!! ♥
Well the video that you guys have posted can't really tell who is the better actor.
One is about a man who just heard his wife being killed over the phone and kinda feel guilty about it, and the other is about a man who is sobbing b/c his gf had to break up with him.
So the first one was the most powerfull and made cry even if I don't watch this show. But it would have, even if the actor sucked b/c the situation was dramatic.
And the second one made me go "Get over it man, It's not the end of the world". But PW was good sadly the situation wasn't worth all this crying; So I felt that he was overacting a little bit.
I guess I'm gonna vote for SG
wow, this one is hard. As great as both of these actors are, I think Thomas Gibson deserves it this time. Paul Wesley is boring for the most part as Stefan and will eventually have this time to shine as he gets more roles in the future :)

It's mr Gibson all the way for us. Because he has the most amazing fan interaction, a wicked sense of humour, has been around for decades with no recognition. The episodes where Hotch's emotional control slips are some of the most gripping scenes in Television ever. (I feel like I'm going to have to watch 100 soon)
Paul Wesley deserves to win this, as he is an amazing actor just watch the ep (Plan B Season 2) to see just how amazing he is, I cry every time I watch the end of that ep. He's so professional an diverse and just seems to be such a nice guy, not believing all his own hype which is rare to see these days. His age has nothing to do with it he is just fantastic and he's totally gorgeous. I like Ian Somerhalder also but i'm sick of him always getting all the glory and hogging the limelight, its time Paul was rewarded for his hard work. Go Paul.

Hello everyone!!! I haven't been on since this morning but I can see both Paul and Thomas have devouted fans on here. I could argue about why I feel Paul should win but why? Paul fans know he is a great actor and Thomas fans know he is a great actor to argue back and forth on here is useless. I doubt anyone will switch sides this far in the round. I think its great that we can put clips on here to show the other fan base what great actors these guys are without arguing. But Thanksgiving is tomorrow and much to do so I will continue to vote for Paul and do my best to help him win but other then that Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!!!!
@Jessica: Great. Joe has lots of followers and this poll has been posted in multiple places to vote for Thomas Gibson. Do you think this hasn't been posted on Paul fansites, twitter pages, facebook pages, etc. Julie Plec (exec on VD) has recently posted to vote for Paul, she also has over 32,000 followers. Paul fansites having thousands of followers worldwide has posted about this. Girls (and guys) who love the show have posted about this. I understand strength in numbers, because both actors have lots of fans. I'm just saying. We've been voting for Paul numerous times, over and over, and his percentage goes down. I'm not going to sit here and argue, though. All I'm saying is there's something wrong with how the votes are being counted. And it's obvious.

@Kayla if TG fans are multi-voting, then so are VD fans. Like I said, Joe Mantegna (Rossi on CM) posted about this poll on his Twitter & CriMi Bird pointed out that he also posted it on his FB page. On Twitter alone JM has over 32000 followers. It has also been posted on a CM fan board to come and vote for him. So like I said before, maybe the TG fans are out in a stronger force right now. It's not a conspiracy. It's simple numbers.
@Jessica: People are obviously double voting, triple voting, quadruple voting and so on because they want their favorite actor to win. So people vote once, refresh the page about a minute later and vote again. People are doing this all the time. Just like with any other voting poll, whether it be here online or something like American Idol.
@Melanie that's exactly why I feel that TG should win. He's been in the industry for SO long and has had SO many great roles that the fact that he doesn't have the amount of recognition that he deserves is sad. Paul on the other hand is young enough that he's still has time to gain a large fan base. I don't want to seem like I condone ageism but... and like I said, both are very talented actors, but TG gets my vote.
Also to the people who think they are the center of the universe: you are not the only one voting. So if the poll numbers go down for your guy while you are voting, IT MIGHT MEAN OTHER PEOPLE VOTE FOR THE OTHER GUY AT THE SAME TIME!

I can not say there is a conspiracy in the poll and votes. It seemed to me last week I was voting and the person I voted for made it to between 38 and 40% and then would drop. It could just be Thomas' fan base is out and voting. Nothing against Paul but his age and looks should have nothing to do with him being under-appreciated. Maybe on his show he is because Ian has alot of fans. Paul was lucky that he won that particular role and ended up on TVG which right now is popular. There is nothing wrong with that and I am not saying anything bad about him because I do not watch the show. I just think Thomas should win because he has had many good roles that have had him in the business for quite awhile and has become loved by many for the characters he has portrayed. @Gerneen it's just simple math. No conspiracy. I wanted Sia to win against Robyn but she didn't and Janelle Monae isn't winning either (although I do like Robyn), I really doubt that the Poll Daddy makers care who win. But people get really involved with their shows and characters so I try to understand that and not get annoyed by it. I'd be upset if TG wasn't winning, so I understand their loyalty to Paul.

No, doesnt explain. If you have 100 people and some can vote more than once and some cannot, the %will be unfairly off. Either way, Paul way or Tom. Basically If 10 people vote and they all count, then they go back to vote again and only 5 count, raising % up for one person and not the other. How is that fair?

About the Percentage issue again, look at all the other polls, if you add both percentages up it equals 100. So that's proof that the polls aren't biased towards Thomas Gibson. It's just the way they have things set up.

@CriMI Bird I know right! When I read the "prove Tom is better" post I had to show these because an emotional Paul clip was shown, so an emotional Tom clip had to be shared. Tom (Hotch) doesn't have a lot of those but when he has them you take notice.
THe reason why Paul's percentage is decreasing and Thomas' is increasing is not because people are multi-voting and votes aren't being counted it's because it's out of 100% and if Thomas is getting more votes it decreases Paul's to keep the whole percentage at 100. I hope I explained that well enough.

I watched the clip of Paul & he is a good actor, I'm not denying that, but Thomas Gibson is better in my opinion. Wheb it comes to being under-rated, I don't feel that Paul is an under-rated star compared to Gibson.

The poll has been acting up for a while and they need to fix this. I'm not saying this because I'm a Paul fan and have no idea who Thomas Gibson is, but because when we've been voting, Paul's percentage has been going down. We're not complaining because he's losing. We're complaining because apparently the votes are being counted right and it needs to be fixed.
What we have said and continue to say, is the poll is not right, some can keep voting while others vote once and get a message that they already voted. It's just not a fair poll if some can multi vote while others are stopped at one.
I'm all about Thomas Gibson. His portrayal of Hotch could be completely boring but he plays it was such strength that you can see just how much Hotch cares for his team, his son, and the cases/victims through the little emotion that he shows.

I have nothing against TVD, seeing as how I don't watch it, and can't judge something I don't watch. What I will say is go Thomas Gibson fans! As a Hotch Honey Jr., I want to say that I love everything he's done that I've seen, and Criminal Minds has had me hooked since my family found it by accident three and a half seasons ago.
It's kept my very picky family entertained and riveted for over three years, and we all watch reruns of it on Ion. If that doesn't tell you something about the power of all the actors in CM, I'll be shocked.

I will have to look at episode 100. I have to say that I have only seen a handful of Criminal Minds episodes and basically had to stop watching just because I am alone a lot and the whole show's premise made me a little paranoid. I forgot the blonde girl's names, but she was in Tru Calling and I LOVED her in that. No offense to Thomas Gibson Iam sure he is great or he would not have made it this far in the polls, but Paul is amazing to me. I watched Vampire Diaries thinking I would hate it and I fell in love with the show because of Paul's superb portrayal of Stefan (and Nina of Elena). I really hope Paul wins this!!! Go Team Paul!!!
