I own both consoles, i use both them equally, i do see the difference between them, its not the graphics nor the game itself! it the users with the controllers and there headsets, ps3 owners dont know when to shut up when they talk. nor do they play like if it were a game "take it to heart", i rarely hear xbox owners talk shit about ps3 users, and i know there all kids, so let the parents whom bought these systems for these kids out of it, and ps3 owers SHUT the F*** up and play your Video Games you paid for it just as well as a Xbox users have! Dude I think that all of you guys should stop whining and saying Ps3 is better that Xbox360, because they are both great consoles. This is for you stupid 6,7,8,9,10,11,12,and 13 year olds out there! When i got my my Xbox which is about a year ago, or whenever the elite came out I have never got the red ring since! With all you PS3 gamers I still have never had problems with both! PS3 FOREVER, look, I've had my ps3 2 yrs now, I play 5-6 days a weak. Plus watch movies, listen to music and My system is on 10 hrs a day mostly while I fall asleep to a movie every night . Never a problem. I've known 6 ppl who have lost there xbox in that time. My friend sent his xbox in from the ring of death, and got it back 9 mths later. That a lot of broken xboxs. Xbox controller will always suck cuz Sony patented there. No blue ray. No free online, and worst of all, who the hell wants a lime green x on there Shit. Lol

in all seriousness. xbox is horrible and will always bowdown to ps3. example; bluray player,bluray game disc format (harder to scratch), has an internet search feature, doesnt lag when looking through menu, dont need to pay to play online!, dont have to pay to watch netflix (along with the already paid subscription to netflix), controllers arnt bulky and gay, overheating problems, ect. need i say more!!!!!!

I understand there are some hacking problems going on with PSN. I do agree that Microsoft has not had those problems with there network on Xbox. I do want to state that PSN is a much more complicated network and I think was focused on the public's entertainment than security, which is good and bad at the same time. Sony has stepped up their game to compete in the gaming industry and has done a well job at it. Microsoft on the other hand has it so that you can complain about a player "cheating" or "hacking". I haven't heard that problem with PSN, has anyone? I don't hear about much "glitches" on PSN than on Xbox. All those "glitches" make game play worse.

I never in a million years would of thought that id buy a 360 till today. It came with a year of online play so hopefully they have the psn back up by then. if not maybe somebody somewhere will want a system that is good for the 70+ titles that i have that will work offline. otherwise i guess i got fu**ed twice by sony. this outage is friggin rediculous. What makes it worse is the fact that nobody at Sony can make a single guestimate as to when the service will be restored. You would of thought that they would of had some type of plan in place JIC something like this ever happened. But i guess thats what you get when you have fu**ing morons running the show. I will never switch from PSN. Sony brought out (made famous) the 2D and 3D games! Sega couldnt do it. SONY is and will be the only major device I play with the exception of Mario on the WII!!! Every system has problems, but some more than others (XBOX)!!! :) Dont hate, Appreciate, the TRUTH!
Playstation 3 is the best game system ever and if your gonna switch to xbox 360 from a playstation 3 I warn you, you'll reget trading a playstatinon 3 for a crappy xbox 360. One reason the playstation 3 is better than the xbox 360 is that you don't have to keep paying for xbox live every month. All you have to do for the playstation 3 is buy a modem hook it up and you don't have to pay for playstation network again. If I'm wrong about this comment yes for your wrong and no for your right. I'm going to stick to the ps3. But they need to hurry and fix this. I have heard that sony was using outdated software. They don't know when it will be up and they haven't even updated their blog on this outrage. Xbox is filled with a lot of kids. My brother has xbox and I would say about 75% are kids. And on PSN I only have about ten. All I know is psn is giving 2 free games out of 5 and xbox has been hacked and went offline for 17 days. Amasing that psn was hacked. I think it was some little nerd that got banned form psn and wanted to take it out on psn as a whole.

I think they need to step it up. Because it sucks bad enough not being able to play Black opps or other games that we spend like 60$ on to play it when most of the time we got to be connected to the internet to play them, Yes PS3 is way better than Xbox it was stupid for them to even bother asking that because all of us that have a PS3 know that its way better. I like x box and PS3, I hate the controversy about it, I dont realize any difference except you have to pay to play online.... but i still like it. The main reason I play on x box is for halo other than that I would rather not pay 8 dollers a month so I play the up to date games on my ps3. I just happened to get a ps2 when i was like 6 when it first came out, but i had relatives who had x box so I grew a fondness for both but i really dont see any difference in gameplay. yeah the controllers are different sizes, the analogs are a little stronger to push than a ps3 ones so i cant really get into a groove on x box b/c i am used to the sensitive ps3 analog but both are really great systems
i think some wil some wont but if they dont get it back online there gonna move to xbox but i wont move i love PS3 best system ever......but hope the network gets online soon....

iv been hooked on playstation since GT 1.at one time i owned a 360, a wii, and Ps3. i still have 2 of the three. guess wich one i got rid of. do to the red ring of death and disk drive problems i would rather shove my Ps3 controller where the sun dosnt shine then buy another 360. hit up my gamer tag when Ps3 gos back online.

i've had my playstation for years now, and a very good freind of mine has only ever had xbox, and since I've had my PS3 he has had four or five systems all xbox! Alwyas something they overheat, or they make the games unplayable with a ring around the games, and playing one they just seem laggy, even when your not playing online. I bought my PS3 when they first came out and sure ti was spendy, and they xbox was cheaper, but, 1 PS3 vs. 4 opr more ex boxes in the smae time period? I think people got they xbox because it was cheaper, and now that they have one there to pruojd to say it sucks. Two freezes maybe three that's all that eveer happened to my PS3.

Honestly i dont think this is a big enough event for a massive amout of customers to switch.. but i have had an xbox for 4 years now and NEVER had a single problem with there service, when theres matenance or a problem i run the conetion tester and it tells me whats wrong.. on PS3 i have to search the web to decode some error message the service might be free.. but i wouldent pay for the crappy quality of it plus so many games find as many ways to suck money out of you its not even funny,

Xbox has always had a light that was made people either send it back or buy a new one. I've never had problems with the playstation. This is the first time ever this occured. People hack and find illegal ways of getting money now a days. Just read the paper or watch the news. Playstions is trying. If you switch over one bad experience like this, your a idiot.
