I have worked with Kyleigh, and she would have to be the friendliest and bubbliest librarian around.
Lucky South Perth to have Francine! South Perth also has a Poetry Park and hosts some remarkable events including Poetry d'Amour which was probably WA's biggest audience for a poetry reading. And that night there were prizes for Haiku including TWO children/young adult writing awards, presented by the Mayor. So GO Francine and South Perth!
Sharon displays passion and enthusiasm in her work. Her love for books has become contagious and has been the force for me to want to read more and keep reading.

Francine Nababan is the most awesome Youth Services Librarian out there. She can read ANY story to the young or old and get them giggling, squirming, yelling or grooving around with minimal persuasion! The pure enjoyment Francine gets from reading stories and providing activities for children is evident every time she hits the children’s room. Many an hour of Francine’s personal time has been spent developing children’s reading and learning resources. Don't tell anyone...but on more than one occasion I have been envious of the crafts the story timers get to create!

Sue is the best and most amazing librarian. She is always incredibly helpful and proactive, with a wide range of librarian knowledge, as well as being a warm and friendly person. All questions and requests are excellently answered. She has a strong commitment to volunteering in the Canberra community as in the 2013 celebrations, and local school tutoring,. She has lived overseas assisting international organisations and libraries. She is a keen advocate for peace.

Come on Fraser Coast. Get behind our best Librarian Robyn Dowling
Francine Nababan is adored by so many children, in whom she has instilled a love of stories and books and writers. I have, on more than one occasion, witnessed the way her young patrons approach her at shopping centres, on a day off—with the same awe that teens might accord to their most beloved rock stars. I truly believe she must be the most dedicated and inspiring librarian in Australia, the one most committed to those she serves, and it's this that the young people of the City of South Perth respond to: they can always spot the real thing! I'm so thrilled that she has been nominated for this award.

Robyn Annear is an outstanding librarian in every way and continues the fabulous service provided by former librarian Pat Lakey who developed the Castlemaine Library over a period of almost 30 years. Robyn has continued to provide dynamic leadership, innovative and community oriented programs and terrific events which have increased the usage of the library from very high to absolutely high. For a small country library I think we have the best we can have - quality staff is the most important criterion for a high quality service.

Lives and breathes the whole library concept and is the consumate professional always putting in 100% when dealing with inhouse people or library visitors. Her pet dog is named "Dewy"after the indexing system. Has travelled across most States in her quest for continuous improvement in the profession and volunteers for many tasks pertaining to librarianship. Aspires to great things in the profession and its future without for one moment forgetting the users of library facilities. Nothing is too much trouble and she always has a smile. Totally dedicated and extremely proud of her profession.

I vote for Rebecca Jeffree of Mt Barker Community library in South Australia. She is efficient, cheerful and helpful. Her organisation skills are superb; including the arrangement of author talks, and catering for events. Her knowledge of books is refreshing in this age of electronic media. She is also very IT savvy and is currently in the process of switching the library to a new electronic system in line with other libraries in South Australia.
