as far as i can tell, Ann Arbor is on here because they sell so much of Kalamazoo's (and Grad Rapids'!) beer.

I used to never drink beer until I lived in Kalamazoo. It's one of the things I miss the most about living there. Oberon release day is almost a city-wide holiday, I don't know anything else that spells out beer city more than that.

Yes, Ann Arbor has good breweries. And good bars. And good festivals. And good restaurants hosting great beer dinner. It's a great place for beer lovers and fully deserves a spot on the ballot!

The River City is overflowing with breweries (Bold City, Intuition Aleworks, Aardwolf, Engine 15, River City, Seven Bridges, Ragtime, etc.), brew-it-yourself spots, homebrew clubs, beer festivals and restaurants/gastropubs with hundreds of beers to choose from. Plus, Jacksonville is one of only five cities in the country with an Anheuser-Busch Brewery offering FREE tours (and samples).
