Should Ken Jennings be named the permanent 'Jeopardy' host?

I’m reserving my vote for later; however, I’m very disappointed in the lineup of hosts. Politicians should be excluded as should news commentators who are on their own ego trips like Savanna Guthrie and Anderson Cooper. Rogers was a good choice but so far, I leaning toward Ken even though he needs some charisma. None so far have demonstrated that quality.

  • Minnie Fae Gibson - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings is the best! He is the very best replacement. The best in all categories. Awsome like Alex was.

  • Dawnette - 3 years ago

Ken does not have a commanding personality to me. I might have watched the first 2 episodes. Have no seen it since , until Mike and Katie came on.
Even Katie has a more commanding personality.

  • Marlene Nunn - 3 years ago

I feel that Ken Jennings would make a good host as he improved so dramatically over his time as host. He became more relaxed as time went on, and he appeared to be at home in that position by the end of his turn as host. He is the best one so far in my opinion and I think that Alex would be proud knowing that someone with the same thirst for knowledge and ethics would be taking his place.

  • Martha - 3 years ago

Loved Ken as a contestant. Love him as a host. Very humble and very smart! GO KEN GO.

  • Louis-M Pedneau - 3 years ago

Ken has left, I have left. THe following hosts read the text, confirm the replies...and...and... .....that's all.
Ken impersonates Jeopardy. He is the true heir.

  • Elfriede M Thompson - 3 years ago

Although it is true that no on can ever replace Alex Trebek, Ken Jennings is the next best person to do so. He is knowledgeable, personable and has charisma. The next best host. I definitely will not watch if Ken Jennings does not become the next host of Jeopardy. After watching for 35 years it will be very sad.

  • Nell - 3 years ago

I prefer Jennings. I thought Richards was too focused on himself and not the contestants. Jennings low key matches Alex more than the loud showman.

  • Geraldine Grace Case - 3 years ago

K.Jennings has the brains but i much prefer the ex=director he has the personality and brains & is much more interesting than Ken. So far Richard has my 100% vote.

  • Matthew - 3 years ago

Oh Yes, Ken Jennings should be the permanent host of the game show Jeopardy. Good luck Mr. Jennings!!

  • Mel - 3 years ago

Please no celebrities filling in. That is such a disgrace. I will not watch anything Dr. Oz is on. And I will the skip actors and news anchors as well. What a shame.

  • Sally Stegmeier - 3 years ago

I watched Jeopardy even before Alex. I loved all the years of Alex as host.

Ken Jennings gives me the creeps and I will stop watching if he is made the permanent host.

My vote is DEFINITELY for Mike Richards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sandy Kleinknecht - 3 years ago

I have watched Jeopardy most of my life. I loved Alex. Ken Jennings is too smug and his voice is not strong enough. Mike Richards has a strong voice and he seems to relate well with the contestants. He does not try to show off how much he knows and he can pronounce all the unusual words. To me he seems like a natural for the job. I don't know if I would continue to watch if Ken would be the permanent host. He is too stuck on himself. He throws information in, in such a way as to say look how much I know. When Mike started hosting, it just seemed (right) ! I think Alex would be pleased. Mike made the job seem easy!

  • MaryAnn Chambers - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings was OK as a Contestant, but He is NOT a Good Choice to Host Jeopardy.
My Husband and I Absolutely VOTE for Mike Richards as The Host !!!
He Did a Much Better Job and His Voice Sounds Like Alex Trebek !!!

  • Nancy Thompson - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings is definitely the only choice as permanent host for Jeopardy!!!! He did a fabulous job, he is more familiar with the game than anyone, and he is beloved by fans. I do not like the idea of having all these proposed random people as hosts and I believe it does a disservice to the game I’ve loved for years. Unless Ken is host, Jeopardy will lose so much of Alex’s spirit that I believe ratings will drop, certainly over time. I do not care for the producer guy as host and have not watched the show this week. I will be heartbroken if Ken is not hired as permanent host of Jeopardy. You owe it to Alex Trebek to hire his choice for replacement host. And that is Ken Jennings!!!

  • Jean Buiggins - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings did a great job hosting the show. He is knowledgeable, and appears very much at home as host of the show. Get him!!!!

  • Mary S. - 3 years ago

I have been a Jeopardy fan for many year's and my husband and I watch every night. We miss Alex very much and found Ken Jennings to be a perfect fit to step into some really big shoes. Ken relates to the contestants because he has been on that side of the show and he has the same caring and gracious personality as Alex.
The other news people would cause me to not watch the program and that would make us very sad.
    Miss you Alex????

  • Judy Bernstein - 3 years ago

I believe that Mike Richards edges out Ken Jennings for the slot - if that's possible to do. The banter is more subdued and personality-wise, I think he's better suited for that spot. Don't get me wrong - I've always been a fan of Ken Jennings, but their styles are very different - and I really do prefer Mike!

  • james monsul - 3 years ago

I voted yes because his banter between contestants was very good and his knowledge of their comments seemed that he experienced many of their situations.

  • Steve Parker` - 3 years ago

Richard, you have the perfect host in Jennings. He's smart, articulate, and would know most of the answers without Q cards, yet you want to experiment with celebrities, Why.
If the ratings drop, with your experimenting, how much money will it cost the network, not only in dollars and cents but viewers?
Jeopardy has one of the best demographics on TV. It would sad, to wreck a show like Jeopardy.
When I speak of experiments gone wrong, take a look at our experiment with politicians.
Thank you for letting me comment, I hope you make the PROPER decision.
    SEPIII

  • linda a vocal - 3 years ago

By the looks of the comments so far Ken Jennings is the favorite to host! He is not a celebrity thank goodness like the others that will be filling in(I will not be watching them) but is very qualified in how the show needs to be presented. So please whoever makes this decision listen to those of us who watch & love the show not to make a Big mistake.

  • Lynda - 3 years ago

I’ve got to say hands-down, Ken Jennings! Please no fake news like Anderson Cooper, Katie Couric, when I see they’re faces all I could think of is lies and pretense and fake news. And how they belittle people.Savanna can be so mean when interviewing people, I’ll just get to the point Ken Jennings... up up and away!

  • Mike Forsyth - 3 years ago

I agree with John R. Hall, Katie Couric has made political comments that disqualify her. I won't watch her, she makes me sick. Same with Anderson Cooper, I won't watch him, he makes me sick. You will lose many viewers.
Ken Jennings is good I would stick with him. I am sure, given the chance to be the permanent host, he would make Jeopardy his priority.

  • Jimmy Z - 3 years ago

I like Ken.He knows the show and would be the best host,.Will wait and see the other hosts. But Ken is the man

  • Nancy - 3 years ago

Ken did an exceptional job! He has a special connection to the show and it is easy to see it. It is in his heart and he is in trying to continue what Alex brought to the show. He has true feelings for the show and I think that is the most important thing one needs to replace Alex! None of the other yahoos show that. Ken is genuine and i think he would be around a long time. He would always try hard to do a good job and honor the show and Alex.

  • John Charles - 3 years ago

Yes to Ken, for sure knows the game ! above everything else that is the most important thing ,not just how one looks !

  • Brian D - 3 years ago

At this time, I think both Ken Jennings and Mike Richards both did a great job. If I had to vote right now, I think Richards would edge out Jennings. My other concern with Jennings is that he is on two (or three?) other game shows. If chosen, how could he dedicate himself to Jeopardy and still be part of the other shows too? I think he would need to step aside from the other shows and put himself behind Jeopardy 100%. I'm also tired of hearing all the cry baby conservatives on here complaining that they don't want Couric, Cooper, Dr. Oz, Sanjay Gupta, etc. to host because the show would be come too liberal. That's a ridiculous comment. People didn't think Mike Richards would be any good and now many are commenting that he is doing a great job and should be considered. Yes, some of these others don't sound very qualified, but give them a chance at their two weeks and you might be very surprised at how well some of them do instead of judging them before they even had a chance to prove themselves. I personally am looking forward to watching when Dr. Sanjay Gupta is on. Watching him on CNN and how comfortable and professional he is in front of the camera.... think after a couple of shows, he'll do a good job too. Anderson Cooper & Katie Couric.....I don't expect much from them, but I will also tune in during their two weeks and give them a chance too. Let's be clear that nobody will host the show as well as Alex Trebek did for so many years. It's like saying....who was the best host of the Tonight Show. Nobody will ever top Johnny Carson in that category. Leno & Fallon did okay and changed parts of the show to make it more up to date, but Carson was the KING. of late night just as Alex was KING of the game shows.

  • Bobbie - 3 years ago

I recall reading an article before Alex got sick. He said that when he retired his choice for his replacement should be Ken Jennings. I agree with his choice.
I really like Mike Richards & I was pretty set in my mind not to like him. So, I would be comfortable with either as host.
I do feel there are too many people guest hosting. There will be several I may watch once just to see how they do. Honestly, I am not a fan of some of them and I just cannot imagine attempting to watch them everyday. The show has had to much class too long to even consider some of them.
    Thank you for the poll.

  • John R Hall - 3 years ago

please NO political hosts. Cooper and Couric will be skipped by me. I have not missed a single episode since the ninties. Whose bright idea was it to put leftist politics into the best game show ever? sad.

  • Maureen & Michael Kielbon - 3 years ago

NO WAY!!!! Ken Jennings is tooooo DORKEY!!! Mike Richards has soooo much more to offer. He fits the bill!!!

  • Susan Warren - 3 years ago

I love Ken Jennings..he was great as guest host..he is great on Master Minds and he is great on The Chase.. He is smart, and funny.
He was a school teacher which gives him the poise..please please keep.him as the permanent host.

  • Norman Coleman - 3 years ago

I was dubious whether Ken Jennings could do the job. Boy was I mistaken. It took him only the first three shows before He became comfortable as Host. In some ways I think that he fits in and is as good if not better than Alex, as great as Alex was. If they don't keep Ken as Host, I will no longer watch Jeopardy! It will become as big a joke as the mediocre show, "Masterminds!" The last year of Jeopardy I find that the contestants have become less, and less, informed as the majority of the more recent contestants have been mostly Millennial's! The scores have gotten so low that the program has become boring. Only Ken Jennings has the ability to raise the show out of the sewer, and keep it interesting!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Carolina - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings comes across as smug and arrogant, like he is superior to all the contestants. His voice is not pleasant to listen to, unlike AT's calm and supportive tone. He makes me anxious with his rapid speech and high pitch.

We stopped watching while he was host.
Please don't pick him, find us someone that can make Jeopardy enjoyable again.

  • Donald J Trump - 3 years ago

Better grab Ken before all your substitute leftists ruin the show

  • Marie - 3 years ago

I absolutely love Ken Jennings on Jeopardy as he is very professional, he is very informed and is the perfect host for this show.

  • bob brent - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings is the only choice. He has made Jeopardy exciting for years. The thought of having over half of the scheduled subs makes me sick. Won't watch part of this circus.

  • Alany W - 3 years ago

Ken did an amazing job, was easy to understand and had the correct tone and speed. The new guy is higher and faster spoken making him harder to follow. His tone is just not correct for the show. He needs to bring it down a notch. I have watched this show almost daily growing up and liked it better when it was calm.

  • Joe Slezak - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings should be the permanent host. But there are two considerations here, one from the perspective of the audience and the other from the perspective of the show's parent company. Ken has demonstrated that he has the talent to be the host, but does he have the talent, organizational versatility, and flexibility to bring more value to the parent company beyond being in a host role? Can he take on other roles in the organization to provide more value from his employment? The show is first about contestants, and Ken Jennings does an excellent job as host to keep our focus on their performance while smoothly executing the dynamics of the show. With Ken we are always reminded that the strength of the show is from the strength of its players. As one of the greatest players, Ken is the most logical and credible successor to keep the connection with Alex and to the show's great history of great players and it greatest host. On the other hand, can the production company of Jeopardy afford to employ him only as a host? Can he can be a great host, and do other great things for the company? In keeping with the show's format, then answer to that is," Who and what is Ken Jennings?"

  • Lou - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings would be a good choice. He is sure of himself, neat and clean, well spoken.

  • Daniel Roberts - 3 years ago

Whoever said Ken was "too into himself" is full of nonsense. I wasn't sure I'd like him but he turned out great. At the end of his run he settled in perfectly and should eventually be full time. I like the run of part time hosts and maybe a better choice will be found but it's going to be hard to top Ken.

  • Fran Jacques - 3 years ago

I thoroughly enjoyed Ken Jennings as the host of Jeopardy rdy. He should be offered the permanent position!! We all know that Alex Trebek was the greatest host and no one will replace him, but Ken idolizes Alex and has done a wonderful job hosting Jeopardy. With Ken being a past contestant he is the perfect host for the show. He already has shown he has a great rspore with the guests and he makes them more at ease. I love how proud he is to have been on the show as a contestant and a host. On every show he has hosted he mentions Alex Trebek. NO other person is a better fit to host Jeopardy than Ken Jennings!!

  • Barbara Smith - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings did a wonderful job as guest host! He's knowledgeable and articulate. You can tell he enjoys the guests. He would make a great permanent host. The other guests hosts do nothing for me. I would no longer be interested in watching Jeopardy if Ken is not the new host.

  • Debbie - 3 years ago

I am very pleased with Ken Jennings. His sense of humor has always been great to hear!! Reading the names of the others coming up.... eh. Not interesting to me at all. Ken might have been nervous at first, who wouldn’t be, stepping in for Alex!! I’m expecting these next hosts to be failures. I’m not watching them..... but it might turn out to be funny......

  • Carol Johnston - 3 years ago

One could tell when Ken came on the stage the first night that he respected Alex to the utmost. He never neglected to thank Alex each eve., or the announcer who starts out the program. It was obvious he familiarized himself with the contestants background having made the descriptive comments after each introduction. His patience, knowledge, & having been a contestant himself, gave him the necessary "tools" to assume Alex's role. His words of encouragement never "put down" or "belittled" even one with the least performance. Occasionally he would intersperse something personal like referring to one of his children, therefore sharing with others a little of his personal life, making it fun to know a little about him. An occasional laugh, smile & fun comments just put everyone at ease, realizing he's just like us!

  • Bill White - 3 years ago

Ken was little nervy out of the gate, but grew very fast as time and shows went forward. His personality, smile, he grew into the show. I have been a very big fan of Alex and Jepordyfor many years and there will always be memories of Alex hosting this amazing show. As for the list of upcoming hosts and hostess, there are a few that I don't really care for,(nothing personal), but the way ken has come into his own with the show, grew more comfortable with it, I REALLY HOPE that he is given the opportunity to fill this void on the show, granted, no one will ever replace Alex, because he will ever be the GOAT of the show but Ken is really great in his presentation growing more comfortable and gaining confidence in every aspect of the show. So lets just cut through the chase and make him the host of Jepordy, now and lets go forward, thanks for the opportunity to provide my personal feedback. Bill

  • Antoinette - 3 years ago

Ken should be host. He is sincere and honest. I knew it would be hard for him and he exceed my expectations. Nobody will ever replace Alex but Ken did a terrific job!!!

  • Mike Finch - 3 years ago

I didn’t think I would like Ken Jennings, but I was wrong. He is perfect. I cannot imagine any other of the guest hosts will be as smooth as Ken. He seems completely at ease and converses well with the guests. It would suit me fine if Jennings were to be named permanent host.

  • Jim Harrison - 3 years ago

I have watched Jeopardy for MANY years. I will not watch it anymore if Ken Jennings is the NEW HOST. He is too "into himself" and not a very good person to communicate with the Contestants. He always acts like he "knows it all" and the contestants aren't smart enough to be on the Show.

  • Barbara Galina - 3 years ago

I definitely know in my heart that Ken Jennings would be the perfect permanent host of Jeopardy. I really looked forward to see the show every night with Ken acting as host. I absolutely know that Alex would be so proud of Ken being the host.

  • Mary D - 3 years ago

I will not be watching any other guest host than Ken Jennings. He is brilliant, humble, sincere, and the best replacement for Alex Trebek. Those other celebrities are idiots by comparison. No offense, but celebrities are NOT known for their intellectual prowess...

  • Bob varjan - 3 years ago

    Love Ken Jennings.
Ken is a personable, noncontroversial, known entity that keeps the program fluid with his smooth delivery and intelligent banter. He feels very comfortable as a host because it is apparent how much he respected and loved
Alex. I enjoy knowing that he probably can answer most of the questions correctly without the card. His agreeable demeanor is pleasant to watch.
He’s the real deal. Please keep him.

  • Patricia Coram - 3 years ago

Yes, absolutely Ken Jennings should be the replacement host following Alex Trebek. Hi did a great job and who better to payvhomage to Alex.

  • Jonene Kemp - 3 years ago

Absolutely without a doubt yes. Do not care for
mentioned quest hosts. Don’t waste our time. Ken is smart and articulate and caring.

  • Michael P Fumic - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings was a terrific contestant. As a host...definitely not. Maybe if he has 20 years to grow into the job he'll be ok. I know no one will replace AT & I say that having watched the game back when Art Fleming was the host but registers a big 'MEH' as a host. I'm guessing that Cooper or Couric will have a little more personality and btw Sony Pictures, the parent company, is it just me or do the contestants seem to have a MUCH higher than usual alternate lifestyle leaning??? I'm fine with it but it seems to be MUCH MORE prevalent since AT passed...almost as if Jeopardy is trying to APPEAL to a specific demographic instead of mainstream America...just sayin'...

  • JeanMarie H Schott - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings, is in the same catagory as Alex, he is LOVED! That is very important to the viewers.
Please, no one sided political hacks, Kouric, Cooper, etc., just plain loveable people that shed a tear once in while to show they have the same feelings as you. May Alex's Soul, through the Mercy of God, Rest in Peace.
"We never die on this earth, as long as the people we loved, remember us"

  • Vicki Sipes - 3 years ago

You can tell Ken Jennings has the greatest respect for Alex. Don't cheapen the show's image with guest hosts like Katie Couric or Anderson Cooper. Jeopardy does not need big name hosts. Keep them out of there!!!! Ken is who I'll watch!

  • Andrew - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings has been doing an excellent job hosting Jeopardy since Alex passed not easy to do.I'm sure Alex would have picked him to take over after after him. I'm not thrilled about the guest hosts coming up. Make Ken the permanent host!

  • Vicki L Sipes - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings did a great job!!! No one could replace Alex but Ken did a fantastic job. I will not watch when Katie Couric is host!

  • Jean Falbo - 3 years ago

Yes, he is not mainstream media or political. If you want viewers you should hire him. Many of us won't watch with Anderson Cooper, Katie Couric... any known name or someone who is hollywood or media.

  • MB - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings is the natural choice to be the new host of Jeopardy! His intelligence, love of the game, reign as GOAT and close relationship with Alex Trebek can never be matched by anyone else who hosts the show. He is humble and has the personality to keep the contestants and audience engaged. Ken Jennings is the new generation of Jeopardy!

  • Kyle - 3 years ago

I would vote for Ken Jennings to be the new host of Jeopardy. He is good, gets all the clues in both rounds in most of the time before time is up and is fluent and professional in his hosting duties of Jeopardy. He knows how to play the game and the contestants seem to like him too. Please don't waste your time with other hosts, ratings will go down and as Alex would want the show to go on with Ken Jennings.

  • Valerie Timm - 3 years ago

In my book, Ken Jennings is the best fit to take over for Alex! He knows the game, he is humble and gracious, and he totally revered the great Alex Trebek! I cannot even imagine anyone else filling the spot! Some of the other guest hosts they have lined up don’t even make sense! They have never had anything to do with Jeopardy! So to Ken, please consider taking the show on permanently!

  • Carolyn Fox - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings is absolutely fantastic. He has kept the show running smoothly and professionally. His respect for Alex Trebek is admirable. I hope he is chosen as the permanent host.

  • Burns Household - 3 years ago

My husband and I have been watching jeopardy since it first aired and appreciate that the producers are keeping it alive. We did not realize that that there would be a myriad of “interim” hosts until recently, like today! We absolutely vote for Ken Jennings to be the permanent host! We have been watching and paying attention to Ken on other game shows and feel he has the qualities required to grow into the role and become a “Star of Jeopardy” as well.

  • Rose - 3 years ago

I didn’t like Ken as a champion or the goat. I still don’t like his smug attitude as the host. Please don’t make me stop watching Jeopardy after 37 years; find someone else.

  • Neldine - 3 years ago

I can't take anymore of Ken Jennings insincere actions. Good riddance.

  • Irene Heckel-Volpe - 3 years ago

I think Ken Jennings has been an excellent host. His respect for Alex Trebek and love of the game is evident in every show. His sign off “... and thank you Alex!” Touches me each time. Alex would be proud of Ken’s performance and his energy. He is good with the contestants also. I think he adds to the actual game... blends if you will. I think having a “celebrity” hosting the show is a mistake. The game of Jeopardy is what matters not the celebrity. I think that Alex would agree.

  • Helen Lynch - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings is a humble, kind and class act.
Please don't bring in the Hollywood actors abd actresses.
By doing so you turn "Jeporady" into a three ring circus and diminish the intent of the show.
Leave it alone. Mr. Richards and others guest host will lessen the show. Go with the WINNER.

  • Nancy mc grath - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings is doing a wonderful job. The difficult transition has been so smooth; he is poised and handles all the aspects of the show admirably. Please keep him on! The.other celebrity hosts will have to be endured and may detract from the quality of Jeopardy!

  • Arlene - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings has been a wonderful guest host. We think he should become the permanent host. He is smart, great smile and interacts well with contestants. He had a special relationship with Alex and believes no one can ever replace Alex. My husband and I feel Ken can only get better with his performances. He has a history with Jeporday and he is a perfect fit. We agree with others who would not want to see Katie, Guthrie or Cooper etc. as host. Good luck Ken. Hope to see you as the permanent host.

  • Barb weaver - 3 years ago

Ken is the only one who could take this job. Keep him. Do not bother with other hosts. Ratings will go way down. KEN JENNINGS is THE BEST!!

  • Slg - 3 years ago

NO ONE COULD DO IT BETTER!
Dr OZ , Aaron Rodgers , etc REALLY!!!

  • Linda Smith - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings is excellent. I think he reads the questions even more clearly than Alex. I love the idea that he is young enough to perhaps be the Jeopardy host for as many years as Alex. His personal comments are very appropriately on topic and warm. He demonstrates a quick wit. His brilliance allows him
To add to the answers. His love of the game is wonderfully obvious. It is nice that he is not a star in another area. He will be identified with/for/as Jeopardy and not distracted with other programs. PLEASE choose Ken Jennings as Alex’s replacement. That will please the tv audience and I believe Alex would make that choice.

  • Lorraine - 3 years ago

Ken as the GOAT is a perfect fit for permanent host. I am aghast at Couric, Guthrie and OMG Oz - this should not be an amateur competition. Ken knows the game, has the rhythm, understands the contestants issues and respects the history of JEOPARDY.

  • Jan Bordine - 3 years ago

Please let Ken Jennings be the permanent host. He does a FANTASTIC job!!!

  • Kathleen Schwab - 3 years ago

Ken did a super job being the host. He’s a natural because he’s personable, intelligent and down to business. I do hope he becomes the permanent host. It feels like he belongs there.

  • Cindy Rosmus - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings did a fabulous job! He was warm, intelligent, funny, and adds his own “quirks” to the role. Plus, he’s the GOAT, and who else is a better candidate to follow in Alex Trebek’s footsteps? We all loved Alex (He was next to God with us!), and Ken Jennings is the next best thing. Please, make Ken the permanent Jeopardy host!

  • Patty - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings has done an excellent job of replacing the unreplaceable. He should be the permanent host!

  • I. Chinneth - 3 years ago

Ken Jennings should be given the permanent host job. I have been watching Jeopardy for many years and I do not think that Katie Couric, Anderson Cooper or any of the other named temporary hosts should get the job. If they do, i will quit watching. I do not think any of them have the depth and breadth of knowledge Ken does. unless the network wants to name a permanent host only for the ratings, then hire any of the others. But I am sure that Alex wants Jeopardy to set itself apart from other highly rated shows.

  • Judith Martin - 3 years ago

Ken is a natural in this role. I won't watch until he returns.

  • Sean - 3 years ago

Ken is the only guy to take over this great show. They will destroy it by letting others try. I will wait until Ken returns to it before I watch again.

  • Sabeeha Kazmi - 3 years ago

Decent & dignified Ken Jennings picked up very diligently
    Where Alex Trebeck left.
He is very closed by Alex Trebeck.
Why is this disturbance in hosting the very prominent show?
All the contestants are well to do - they all have their own shows / assigned.
Ken Jennings was the fundamental choice of Alex Trebeck therefore he is best and well done primarily.
Serious knowledge & graceful presentation was satisfying.
Changing hosts with participants would have been better or bringing visiting hosts from among participants would have been deserving Keeping Ken Jennings as the MC.

Why are others eager to enter this show -
    Participants deserve more then them.

    Keep them out of Jeopardy
They are all good where ever they are.

Only participants & winners of Jeopardy deserve in Jeopardy.

    Not others - please

  • Chip Foster - 3 years ago

I am a long time fan of Jeopardy and I recognize the greatness of Alex Trebek. Ken Jennings has done an excellent job filling a hole that can truly never be filled. I feel that it is a waste of time by the producers of Jeopardy to jump through guest host after guest host when the new host of Jeopardy is right before them. Please stop wasting time and make Ken Jennings THE host of Jeopardy.

  • Bonnie Heart - 3 years ago

There can be no question as to the gratitude, humbleness, skill and knowledge of Ken Jennings in this position.
Nothing more to be said as Ken says: “Thank You Alex”

  • Penny Bott - 3 years ago

I’ve watched Jeopardy since forever and never could imagine anyone other than Alex Trebek being their host
However life has changed and I can see Ken Jennings stepping gracefully into this spot!

  • Ron Yonts - 3 years ago

My wife and I have watched Jeopardy for many years. Ken Jennings has done an exceptional job as host and Alex would be proud. He makes the contestants feel comfortable as Alex always did. There shouldn’t be any other hosts other than Ken. He has proved himself! We think you should rethink your addition hosts as it will in our opinion ruin the show! Please reconsider and just KEEP KEN!!

  • Arnold Jentleson - 3 years ago

Ken is a natural. His knowledge, pleasant personality and humor makes him the perfect replacement. He also has a history with the show which is important

  • Donna Wilkinson - 3 years ago

I’ll have to admit I was surprised, but I think Ken Jennings has done an excellent job, and feel Alex would be pleased. I think he should be hired full time. We don’t need a celebrity known for many other things to take over Jeopardy. Ken keeps the show in the original style. ????

My wife and I love what Ken Jennings has done to step in as host of Jeopardy. He is a natural and appears to make the contestants comfortable. He encourages them as Alex did. None of the guest hosts mentioned will be long lasting. Please put Ken in as permanent Jeopardy host.
    Thanks

Ken is doing a fantastic job ....... Tunes into contestants warmly and with humor, and is fast on his feet. ALEX WOULD BE PROUD!
WE'VE been able to accept him and the poll shows most are very happy with his hosting. I love how he sincerely thanks Alex at the end of every show.
    You can NOT do better.

Ken Jennings is like listening to a recording of Alex from the 80s.
Someone not so bland would be nice.

Please keep Ken Jennings as permanent host. ! He is professional, respectful and he can still have fun. He has fit in so well He is very intelligent and he is kind. I am used to him and I am not looking forward to the guest host line up , except for Mayim Bialik because she is funny and intelligent and I think she will be respectful and make it fun at the same time.
Of course there is no one like Alex Trebek, and we miss him so much
But we hope Ken will be the new permanent host !

Ken is doing an excellent job! If he wants to be the permanent host I hope he gets the job. I think some of the other choices might be fine, but I will reserve comment until I see them. There are also some on the list who would not be a good choice for Jeopardy in my opinion. I won't comment on them specifically until I see how they do. - I could be wrong.

I think Ken did an excellent job, but I would like to see all the other people who are lined up to take a crack at it. After they’ve all done it then we can decide who was best

Ken is the consummate class act. He is a very humble individual who is unafraid of giving proper credit to the great AlexTrebek, while allowing the show to continue as it should. He is warm, gracious and is doing a fine job of interacting with the contestants, as well as the TV audience.
I truly hope he get the permanent position!

I have been so pleasantly surprised at the fine job Ken Jennings has done, getting better each day!

i will always watch Jeopardy, as it’s a wonderful show and I greatly admired Alex Trebek.

It will be fun to watch a few other guest hosts, but I’m thinking Ken might be my first choice, and I didn’t expect to feel that way.

However, I love the game of Jeopardy and greatly admired Alex Trebek, so I will watch it whomever is chosen.

Ken Jennings would be the perfect PERMANENT host for Jeopardy. He has done an excellent job hosting the show. We will not be watching Jeopardy while all of your other guest hosts are on. I don't understand why you are having those particular people and why so many guest hosts. You would be smart to choose Ken.

Ken Jennings deserves to be Alex's replacement. He is very sincere, intelligent and has a great sense of humor.
To put a celebrity in Alex's place would be a slap to Alex. Alex would want Ken to be his replacement. Do not consider anyone else for the position. If a celebrity is placed in his stead, you'll lose us as regular listeners. I would be careful who you replace Ken with as your ratings will plummet as a result of the names you have announced as potential replacements.
