I definitely feel Ken Jennings is the right host for Jeopardy. The first week he was a little fast and stiff, but with each week his confidence has grown and his personality is shining through. He is certainly knowledgeable and comes across as kind and caring. Let’s not waste too much time with other guest hosts and let’s get into a Jeopardy groove with Ken.
Penny - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings has grown into the job of host of Jeopardy. He is super intelligent, kind, witty and his humour comes through more and more. He is perfect for the permanent position of host.
Spud - 5 years ago
Although Ken Jennings speaks a little fast for me, without a doubt I believe he should be give the honor and privilege of taking over where the great Alex Trebek left off.
ABSOLUTELY A RESOUNDING NOOO, TO KATIE COURIC !!! ????????
Toni Whitler - 5 years ago
Love Ken Jennings! Give him the job, no Katie Curick please!
Patti Score - 5 years ago
I am so enjoying Ken Jennings as guest host of Jeopardy.
I would definitely like to see him become the permanent host.
Claudette Kirkland - 5 years ago
Oh no! I thought he was the permanent replacement. He is so great at hosting Jeopardy. Even though no one could ever replace Alex Trebek, Ken Jennings has portrayed so many mannerisms and characteristics of the late host and he has the perfect voice and smile that goes with hosting Jeopardy. I can’t see none of the other temporary hosts comparing to him.
Julie Switzer - 5 years ago
Ken’s voice is to whiny and he doesn’t seem to relate. I hope you go outside your list and get a new comer to make his own way. I don’t believe it’s a job for a woman either. Hope to keep watching. It’s up to you
KS - 5 years ago
I truly enjoy Ken Jennings as Jeopardy’s host. I think what makes him so good is his love of the game, his deep respect for Alex Trebeck, and is definitely a people person. I was skeptical when I first watched him, but by the end of the first show my husband and I agreed he would be an excellent host. He is much more relaxed now and his humor does well. I have no desire to go thru all these other guest hosts. Their fame doesn’t impress me and I feel they will give an artificial vibe to the show. Ken is an original lover of the game without the fame. I think Alex would have chosen him. PLEASE keep him. ( Nothing wrong with his voice...goes with his boyish looks????)
Lucretia - 5 years ago
No. I realize he is very intelligent but I find him very condescending. You can see that in the way he responds when contestants miss a question. It is like ‘ I can’t believe you missed that!’ No one will ever replace Alex Trebeck and we have to give people a chance. I watched Ken on the other game show and felt the same about him. I think he is capitalizing on his friendship with Alex. Maybe with some maturity, he will do better.
Zoe - 5 years ago
I think Ken Jennings has been doing a bang up job as host. I think he is going to be another Alex with time. Please keep him on if he desires the full time job.
Suzanne - 5 years ago
Ken is doing an excellent job at hosting and my husband agrees. Hope you make him permanent! Alex would be proud.
Michelle Rhynard - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings is a shoe in for Alex Trebek, a real natural in on the Jeopardy set. Ken is very personable, knowledgeable, engaging, comical, down to earth and classy and entertaining.
My husband and I both fell surprisingly in love with Ken Jennings’ television personality. No need to see any other guest hosts here. We will NOT watch Jeopardy with Katie Couric, Savanna Guthrie, Dr. Oz nor Andersson Cooper.
Save us all the heartache and appoint Ken Jennings Jeopardy’s permanent new host.
Mary - 5 years ago
Ken is a natural. He had done an excellent job! I'll start watching the show again when he's back on.
Miriam Eastman - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings is doing a great job hosting Jeopardy. He’s so knowledgeable and presents the game as well as anyone could. Alex Trebek would be so proud to have him continue his legacy as host of Jeopardy.
Ken Durrant - 5 years ago
Are you kidding me? I repeat...are you kidding me. Are you really considering someone other than Ken? He is real. He is personable. He is is smart. He is witty. He puts the contestants at ease. He is no Mr. Trebek but he is by far the next best person. And his smile is authentic. Don’t make a big mistake...hire him!!!
Cathy Gabardine - 5 years ago
Absolutely. Ken Jennings is a really good host. He’s very nice to contestants and is quite talkative with them. I like him. I’m sure there are lots of great guests hosts coming, but Jennings is just perfect.
Janis S - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings is doing a great job & absolutely should be named the permanent host if he’ll take it. I’m not looking forward to ANY of the other guest hosts at all!
Carol - 5 years ago
No one will replace Alex Trebek, but to step in his shoes and keep Jeopardy alive and going, I believe Ken Jennings is doing a remarkable job ????.
Lynn McKenzie - 5 years ago
Watching Ken Jennings is like watching Alex Trebeck. KEEP HIM AS HOST!
Gerald Fortner - 5 years ago
Ken has done a fine job. No one will ever be perfect in that role, but Katie Couric should not be given a chance. There is nothing about this Liberal Lady that will ever embody the Presence of Alex Trebek! Please reconsider her as a choice.
Ken is the best to watch. If he will take the position he is the one that should replace Alex. He is calm with the contestants, reads the questions like Alex and makes the program fun to watch. Please offer it to Ken Jennings.
Carolyn - 5 years ago
I’ve enjoyed Ken very much and am not looking forward to the upcoming rotation of new guests. I will not watch the week that Katie Couric hosts and feel the same about Savannah Guthrie as a future guest. I would like to see one of the other GOATs, Brad, take a turn. I think he would be excellent.
Terry John's - 5 years ago
Can't stand his squeaky voice. If they choose him I'm done watching, unless on mute
Val Montague - 5 years ago
Ken has exceeded my expectations. He still has room to grow and make it his own.
Eileen Quinn - 5 years ago
I would much rather have Ken Jennings than Katie Curic. My husband and I have always watched Jeopardy and both of us said that we won’t watch when Katie is on. Ken is doing a great job and people will find that with time they will appreciate him.
David G - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings does not have the personality, nor the voice, to keep Jeopardy viewers watching. I have watched Jeopardy since before Alex Trebek took over. I have a hard time listening to Ken Jennings. He sounds insincere and "rehearsed" in his interaction with contestants. I would love to see John Michael Higgins as the host, but I think the best move for the show is to bring in someone new, or not so well known, to start fresh, rather than looking for a "celebrity" to fill the void.
Peggy O’Brien - 5 years ago
Did not think I would like having ken Jennings but I have enjoyed him a lot. I think he’s doing a great job and I think you should keep him as the host I’m sure Alex would be very very happy! love how he closes at the end of the show and thanks Alex
Isadora - 5 years ago
Have been watching jeopardy nightly forever. Miss Alex so much. IMO, Ken Jennings is trying very hard but he doesn’t have the personality to pull this off. Knowledge, yes. The tone and pitch of his voice are not engaging or relaxing. Love the game, not the current host. Have to also say that some of the other identified temporary hosts don’t sound like a win either. My future without jeopardy will have a gaping hole.
Beach Girl - 5 years ago
Keep Ken! He’s doing a great job and finding his groove. I’m not looking forward to the merry go round of guest hosts.
Laurie V - 5 years ago
I will never watch Katie Couric or Savannah Guthrie. Neither are acceptable guest hosts. Keep Ken.
Claudia Young - 5 years ago
I think Ken is doing a great job. I really am dreading all of the alternate guest hosts, many of whom it seems will be looking to put another "notch" in their belts by landing this "gig". Why put us through the agony? Katie Couric? Really? Spare me please. Katie is ok, but not for this show. At best, narrow it down to one or two truly viable candidates and then pick one. I think you will lose viewership with to many guest hosts.
Margaret Fergusso - 5 years ago
If Ken Jennings becomes the host I’m done watching Jeopardy !!! PLEASE anyone but him!!!!!’
Ruth - 5 years ago
I love Ken Jennings! I wasn’t sure before I watched him. He seems so kind, doesn’t miss a beat & I look forward to watching him. He does a great job. Hire him now! No one else could take his place.
C C Church - 5 years ago
Ken has all of the attributes needed for the show. He is knowledgeable, relates well to the contestants and follows their responses with intelligent responses. I think he is the absolute perfect host to cobtinuecthe
DON PUDELL - 5 years ago
Nobody can be Alex but Ken Jennings is doing a great job. He should be the one. Who cares about all these other big stars who will just add the show to their resumes.
ShelleyJohnson - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings did a fantastic job. STOP dragging this out with guest host after guest host. It does nothing for fans to have all these people use Jeopardy as a stepping stone. You are pulling Alex Trebek's legacy into the gutter.
Sandra Hiscock - 5 years ago
I am not a fan of Ken Jennings. I probably won’t watch again if he remains permanent host. Jennings puts me on edge.
Joann Kelly - 5 years ago
Do not like Ken Jennings. He has no charisma and comes across as fake and insincere. The perfect replacement would be Tom Bergeron. He and Alex have the same personality! Miss Alex so much. I have not watched one episode with Jennings as host. I could not tolerate him when he was on as a contestant.
M.B. Bush - 5 years ago
Ken has been surprisingly okay. Better than I expected. No one can truly replace Alex. I suspect he (Ken) will be the eventual hire. I think many are missing the point of taking a break and having the guest hosts. Charity and entertainment and diversity -- increase the audience and ratings. Because of course Aaron Rodgers and Anderson Cooper would leave their current careers if offered Jeopardy.... Ha Ha. I am looking forward to the guest hosts. It sounds fun.
Elaine Brousseau - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings did a great job as guest host., and I would like to see him be the regular host of Jeopardy! He kept the focus on the game (not on himself), which is where it should be, and he was also very relaxed and engaging with the contestants. Bravo, Ken!
I am nervous about what some of these other guest hosts will do with the show.
Carol - 5 years ago
I will not be watching Jeopardy when Katie Curic is emceeing. She is far from my favorite. I would not watch the news when she was on. Please do not make her the permanent Host.
David Nagy - 5 years ago
somehow he just leaves me up tight. It's just not a relaxing show anymore, sorry.
Tom Reilly - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings has been terrific. Not a fan of some of his views but he deserves the job. If not Brooke Burns is my 2nd, and maybe top, choice.

Such a smooth transition!! Usually it is very strange having someone different but Ken glided right in!! I don’t want to watch anyone else. It will be strange!
Marcia - 5 years ago
Please please! Keep Ken Jennings! Alex liked him! And we do also, in our household. No need to go any
Further! You will lose your audience! Can’t imagine how some of these names came about? Katie Couric -
With her odd little voice and attempting to be charming mannerisms! Dr Oz - he is too dynamic, has lots of $$ and doesn’t need to cut in on Jeopardy! His mannerisms are intimidating!! Can’t recall others, sure
They need not be considered.
You have the perfect host Ken Jennings! He rose through the ranks. Contestants appreciate that he was
“One of them” not too long ago, has a nice kind, mellow attitude. His side comments are perfect -
Please please seriously consider keeping him as The Host. Alex would be happy.
Anita B Mabardy - 5 years ago
I find Jennings to be very insincere. As a contestant, he would pretend to not know an answer, then suddenly get the answer, then let out a fraudulent "phew". Very annoying.
Also, as much as he desperately wants people to believe he is the GOAT, he is not the GOAT. That would be the brilliant and authentic James Holzhauer. Not even close.
So, this forever Jeopardy fan send a big NO to Jennings as permanent host. I look forward to seeing people rotate in and out of the position.
Anita L Smith - 5 years ago
Please keep Ken Jennings as Jeopardy host. He's doing a great job. I know would want him to be the new host.
Gayle - 5 years ago
Please keep Jennings the host. His respect for the game and having the contestants and game be the focal point. It isn’t about him.
Jim b - 5 years ago
Jennings is a jerk past derogatorty comments about the south and midwest prove it
Stephanie - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings is the perfect person to follow in Alex Trebek's footsteps. He is smart, engaging, personable, funny, humble and most of all warm and endearing. I will continue to enjoy watching Jeopardy! with the scheduled guest hosts, and patiently wait for Mr. Jennings to return (fingers crossed) as the permanent host on Jeopardy!
Don Gibbons - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings is doing a great job in filling Alex’s shoes and definitely should be the frontrunner for the fulltime host. I will be watching Katie Couric and Anderson Cooper, but with the sound turned off!! Politicians and people with agendas should never be considered when trying to fill Alex’s shoes!!!
Gabriella - 5 years ago
My husband and I watch Jeopardy every night. We think Ken Jennings is doing an excellent job. Understandably, he was nervous at the outset, but we can see his coming of his own in this short period. We have no doubt he will get better and better because he has the intellect and humility to do so.
Ken has street creds that no other new host could ever have. He has history with the show; he is the GOAT contestant and is beloved amongst fans. Good grief, as host he practically doesn’t even need the response cards!
We will probably watch the other guest hosts if only to confirm what we already know: Ken is the right choice for permanent host.
One last thing, I wasn’t sure what to make of him thanking Alex at the end of each show, but now I’ve come to appreciate it is coming from an authentic place of respect and love for Alex
Michael Dillon - 5 years ago
Alex isn’t just a great winner, he is one of us-a longtime fan of the show!
Sidney Louise Brown - 5 years ago
Ken matches the grace, timing, and humor Alex brought to the game. He is smart, crisp in look and sound, and he truly likes the candidates.
Elizabeth K - 5 years ago
Please consider keeping Ken Jennings as Jeopardy’s permanent host. Like so many comments I have read, his manners, positive spirit and knowledge stand out. I was skeptical at first, but he has truly proven himself a great and ideal host. His quick wit and ability to have the contestants feel as comfortable as possible are noticeable. Also, his relationship and adoration of Alex are never to be forgotten. His end of the show tribute of thanks is a beautiful gesture. MY VOTE is KEN.
Carol ann - 5 years ago
My husband and I love Jeopardy. It is part of our evening as we invite the show into our home. Alex was a gem. Please don't dilute the "feel" of this educational, no frills program with "celebrities ". If Ken will accept the offer to continue to honor Alex's memory and keep the show a serious, quality program and not a cheap game show, we will be genuinely thrilled. Otherwise I don't think we will WANT to see a super show watered down. Who is the next best thing to Alex? Who is Ken Jennings?
Karen C. - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings has proved himself a worthy replacement for the irreplaceable Alex Trebek. He is super at trivia and he has a confident style. He also shows his sense of humor. He ends each show thanking Alex and to me, that's a class act.
Melodie Tobias - 5 years ago
Been a Jeopardy fan since inception with Art Fleming. Alex was phenomenal and I have to admit I have been a fan of Ken for years. He has grown more comfortable over the past 5 weeks. I would be happy to see him ultimately get the hosting honor, but I think it will be interesting to see a variety guest hosts in the coming weeks. It is unfair to prejudge the newbies based on politics, etc. As far as I know there would never be an opportunity for the host to engage in a political discussion. This is a game show hosting position not a talk show. Meredith Vieira came from a news background and also spent a number of years on The View before landing a couple of game show hosting duties. She seems to have had no problem with her transition. One job has nothing to do with the other.
Patricia M Zararis - 5 years ago
Although I miss Alex very much, I feel Ken Jennings is doing a great job hosting Jeopardy. I’m sure Alex would be proud & happy to know it is Ken & someone who shares the same passion playing the game. Good Luck Ken & stay safe !
Ken Jennings was fantastic! Keep him as the host! He deserves it!
Dawnna Rieves - 5 years ago
Please Ken, continue as the host of Jeopardy! Your love of the game and your respect for Alex come through so clearly! I hate to think of some of the others who are lined up, because I feel that, while they may respect our Alex, their own stuff comes with them, while yours, like Alex’s, does not! Very grateful for the way you have stepped into big shoes so spectacularly! ????❤️????❤️
Jean Mills - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings is THE one to follow Alex! My husband and I have watched Jeopardy since Alex Trebek started hosting it. He would be SO proud of Ken. Ken is charismatic, sharp, intelligent, kind to contestants and has a history with Alex that makes him the perfect person to fill his shoes. He is doing a great job! Some say he talks too fast. Well you need to listen to Alex when he first started. He talked much faster starting out but in time slowed his speech down and so will Ken. He is still learning how to fit into his position as host but is doing an excellent job. It is so nice to see someone with his history with the show than seeing someone who is just thrown in with no history whatsoever with Alex or the show. Please keep Ken Jennings or my husband & I will have to give up watching a show we have enjoyed for 30+ years. Ken helped us accept losing Alex much easier, as we were heartbroken when Alex died.
Margaret - 5 years ago
It is wonderful to see a "brain" counting, rather than "so called Beauty". Mr. JEnnings is very handsome, but his intelligence is spectaculer. I hope and pray he gets this job full time.

I think Ken Jennings is doing a great job. He settled in after the first week.
I am not watching Jeopardy when Katie Couric, Anderson Cooper, Savannah Guthrie appear as guest host.
Laura Mathers - 5 years ago
We have been watching Jeopardy religiously for the last 25 years. We loved Alex, yet it was the game that compelled us to watch every night. We regularly discussed episodes with friends and colleagues if something unusual or special occurred, and found it is the one show that multigenerations can enjoy watching together. Our broadened world view and new knowledge about the vast and beautiful life on earth, along with trivial but fun facts, has greatly enriched our lives. Can't say we would have watched a new show if Alex had left Jeopardy to start a new game show, because it first and foremost is about the show - the answers that tested contestant knowledge and the contestants themselves. Regular people that we could sometimes relate to - excitement at winning, or crushing blow when lost. We were rooting for their success, and cringing for them when they did something embarrassing on national TV. No doubt Alex Trebek's hosting skills and abilities had 35 years to hone. Ken Jennings has done a remarkable job as host! He too will settle in after gaining more experience and getting comfortable in his role. For someone whose only experience in front of cameras was as a contestant, it makes his achievement even greater and gives me the confidence he will one day be as beloved a host as Alex. Anderson Cooper, Katie Couric, and some of the other announced temporary hosts will be bringing baggage and unavoidable politics into what was our daily 30 minutes of civility and fun. We will give everyone the benefit of watching at least one episode out of curiosity, yet suspect the TV to be turned off for the rest of their stint if we can't see past their past behaviors and beliefs. PLEASE KEEP KEN JENNINGS!!!
Jenny Bradford - 5 years ago
I agree with those who have nixed Ken. To me he comes across as a smart slick. I don't remember the gentleman's name, but he was in the last championship with Ken and James H. Slender, dark haired, good voice, self deprecating and nice looking. Though he didn't score well, I would like to see him take the helm of Jeopardy.
Charles Schaefer - 5 years ago
He has the same Charisma as Alex had.
Cathy Berger - 5 years ago
I think Ken is very good. I won't be watching the other controversial hosts like Katie Couric, Andrson Cooper, .
Savannahh Guthrie. They shouldn't even dare be on the same stage as Alex.
david dunn - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings has been amazing. My wife and I have watched for years. Be assured, we will not watchKatie Couric, Savannah Guthrie or Anderson Cooper.. We're shocked at your choices!
Marian E Crawford - 5 years ago
I'm definitely not a fan of Mr. Jennings, as a host of Jeopardy. He seemed to be cloning himself into an awkward form of Alex Trebek, however, the high pitched voice is annoying and nixes him from any TV host position in my opinion. My 100 year old mother, who has watched Jeopardy for decades isn't even enjoying it anymore, because Mr. Jennings talks way too fast! My goodness!! Even the captions aren't much of assistance at this point! All was well with Alex Trebek's hosting, so it isn't her! I've read the other comments and only fans of Ken Jennings can form an opinion so quickly without giving consideration to other hosts for the show. My husband, mother and myself are three who will not be watching, if he becomes a permanent host of Jeopardy. However, from what I've read recently, it would appear that ABC is going to be wise and not stop searching for the perfect fit for a permanent host, just yet!! Smart decision!
Bob C - 5 years ago
Ken is the perfect host to take over for Alex. He has bean part of the Jeopardy family for a long time and seems comfortable in the host role. He treats and interacts with the contestants in a respectful and pleasant manner. I hope he is the choice to take over the host role. There are several of the other prospective candidates who I would clearly not want to see in the host role and might well prevent me from continuing to watch. Although one one will ever “ replace” Alex, watching the show with Ken as the host feels very comfortable and familiar to me. Keeping my fingers crossed that he will be the ultimate choice
KEREN - 5 years ago
Yall lining up for everybody but who Alex said he wanted to replace him.
We know why smdh

Don’t call me between 7-730 pm weeknights. I’m watching Jeopardy and have since before Alex was chosen to host. What a great asset.
After watching Ken Jennings attempt to fill those very big shoes, I’ve noticed how he’s become much more comfortable in that spot. There’s not one other person on your list that would ever want me to tune in to jeopardy. If not Ken Jennings, give me the reruns. Keep Ken! He’s a diamond in the rough. Alex would be proud. ????.

My husband and I have watched Jeopardy for many years. We remember Ken Jennings as a contestant on the program. We believe he has done a great job hosting Jeopardy. We are in favor of him being named as the permanent host. Thank you for allowing us to comment.
Pat mc - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings constantly seems arrogant. He has a smile in his voice when he tells him the correct answer. You too often makes it about him. And I really can't stand him saying thank you Alex at the end is he thanking Alex were dying?
Gladys Coffey - 5 years ago
After Ken Jennings leaves I will no longer watch Jeopardy until he returns as permanent host. I am not interested in seeing Katie Couric, Savannah Guthrie and especially not Anderson Cooper as hosts.
Susan Marshall - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings is doing an excellent job. We have had enough change in our lives and now want some stability so keep the same host. I will be so disappointed when Ken is finished. Another change that I do not want so will not continue to watch when he goes. We lost Alex and just used Ken and he is gone from the show.
Brenda - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings is doing an amazing job. I know Alex would be proud of him. I would like to see him become the permanent host. He has showed me that he can fill Alex's shoes.
Joseph Radacoy - 5 years ago
Ken is doing just fine. We do not need a bunch of TV egotistical hacks screwing up a great program. I say this as a Jeopardy fan from the Art Fleming days.
Judy - 5 years ago
Ken seemed a little (understandably) uncomfortable the first week or two but as he's relaxing into the position he is most enjoyable to watch. No one will ever be Alex but Ken is a close second.
M. Rau - 5 years ago
I do not like Ken as host. His voice is not distinguished enough for easy listening and his too frequent use of hand gestures is very distracting. He also has a non-relaxed stare into the camera before any breaks. He appears to not be enjoying himself.
After all of these weeks he has not proven himself enough to be permanent host, at least in my opinion
Susan Reno - 5 years ago
Ken should absolutely take over this position. I cannot even imaging watching some of the upcomming replacements handle it with grace and honor as Ken has. He is a natural and just as kind and unassuming as the wonderful Alex Trebek. Of course, in our household we believe that your producers have already noted this.
Seena - 5 years ago
Ken is absolutely amazing. You shouldn’t even have to consider anyone else. If he isn’t picked, I will not watch The show any longer. He is a natural and I’m so convinced Alex would want him too.
Frank - 5 years ago
He is outstanding and I have watched Jeopardy since I was 10 with Art Fleming. Couric will be horrible. Won't watch an episode if she hosts. Tired of her political crap . Hire Jennings now. You know he would have great answers for the ones he asks nightly. Great host. Keep him on!
bruce duxbury - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings is doing a fantastic job and has shown that he has the temperament to make the guests comfortable and welcome. Most are nervous and he eases the situation so, that they can do their best.
The last thing we need is some snarky news person with a reputation of polarized dogma.
THIS IS ONE SHOW ON TV THAT I AND MY WIFE CAN WATCH AND FORGET ABOUT THE POLARIZED WORLD WE LIVE IN.
Marlene P Rodriguez - 5 years ago
Why would you look any further ? I am positive Ken Jennings is the perfect host. He is Minnie-Me. You just know how much he likes the show, respects Alex so much, he's very intelligent, very humble, funny, and very kind to the contestants. He is The One ! Please keep him !
kAREN - 5 years ago
Ken is very respectful towards Jeopardy and what has come before him. He is humble in his role as host and carries on beautifully for Alex who can never be replaced. His knowledge of the show, how it works, how it is run and knowledge of answers is right up there with Alex. He has made it a smooth transition for viewers. I'm one of those that when he thanks Alex, I get tears in my eyes. Such respect. He has relaxed since the first few episodes and his demeanor with the show and the contestants is admirable. I hope he will be back permanently.
Sharon Brown - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings is doing a fantastic job. You can tell he really loves the show and is doing it to honor Alex. As much as e love the my husband and I will NOT be watching while Anderson Cooper and Katie Couric guest host. Please keep politics out of it. Those two would probably not be able to keep their mouths shut about current events on the show and would cause you to lose viewers.
“Katie Couric Fan Account” and “Ultra Lib” are part of what’s wrong with this world.
Beverly Strauss - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings is brilliant, has class and is humble. He is the perfect person to take the helm of this great game show. Other names offered do not measure up. Most are too controversial but more importantly, could they win the game? I’m not interested in a “fame name” , just a simple kind genius I can learn from and smile with. Don’t let him go!
caldwell carolyn - 5 years ago
Hard losing Alex. BUT Ken Jennings has risen to the job. He was uncomfortable at first but has relaxed nicely. DO NOT want to see Couric. Just much too difficult to see someone else yet her. Used to watch her on Today and always cringed at her giddiness. Never watch her on news. Much prefer Lester Holt. Back to Jeopardy. Ken is a perfect replacement. His personality is great match. Plus he knows the game. (Understatement of the year.)

Ken Jennings is perfect. Please look no further. We will not watch Anderson Cooper or Katie Couric. They are tooo political. No one loves the program like Ken. My husband and I both love Ken Jennings as host of Jeopardy. He’s grown into it and blossomed over his guest host time - hope he gets to be permanent host!!
Megan - 5 years ago
Nobody will ever be Alex, but I cannot imagine anyone else hosting jeopardy but Ken Jennings. He took some getting used to but I think it's important to have a host that respects trivia and Jeopardy as much as Ken does. I don't want to watch Aaron Rodgers or Dr. F-in Oz make a mockery of the best game show ever. Ugh, it's disgusting. Keep Ken - he fits. Alex would have wanted it that way.
Ken Jennings has grown into the job of host of Jeopardy. He is super intelligent, kind, witty and his humour comes through more and more. He is perfect for the permanent position of host.
Although Ken Jennings speaks a little fast for me, without a doubt I believe he should be give the honor and privilege of taking over where the great Alex Trebek left off.
ABSOLUTELY A RESOUNDING NOOO, TO KATIE COURIC !!! ????????
Love Ken Jennings! Give him the job, no Katie Curick please!

I think Ken Jennings has been doing a bang up job as host. I think he is going to be another Alex with time. Please keep him on if he desires the full time job.
Ken is doing an excellent job at hosting and my husband agrees. Hope you make him permanent! Alex would be proud.
Ken is a natural. He had done an excellent job! I'll start watching the show again when he's back on.
Ken Jennings is doing a great job hosting Jeopardy. He’s so knowledgeable and presents the game as well as anyone could. Alex Trebek would be so proud to have him continue his legacy as host of Jeopardy.
Absolutely. Ken Jennings is a really good host. He’s very nice to contestants and is quite talkative with them. I like him. I’m sure there are lots of great guests hosts coming, but Jennings is just perfect.
Ken Jennings is doing a great job & absolutely should be named the permanent host if he’ll take it. I’m not looking forward to ANY of the other guest hosts at all!
No one will replace Alex Trebek, but to step in his shoes and keep Jeopardy alive and going, I believe Ken Jennings is doing a remarkable job ????.
Watching Ken Jennings is like watching Alex Trebeck. KEEP HIM AS HOST!
Can't stand his squeaky voice. If they choose him I'm done watching, unless on mute
Ken has exceeded my expectations. He still has room to grow and make it his own.
I would much rather have Ken Jennings than Katie Curic. My husband and I have always watched Jeopardy and both of us said that we won’t watch when Katie is on. Ken is doing a great job and people will find that with time they will appreciate him.
Did not think I would like having ken Jennings but I have enjoyed him a lot. I think he’s doing a great job and I think you should keep him as the host I’m sure Alex would be very very happy! love how he closes at the end of the show and thanks Alex
Keep Ken! He’s doing a great job and finding his groove. I’m not looking forward to the merry go round of guest hosts.
I will never watch Katie Couric or Savannah Guthrie. Neither are acceptable guest hosts. Keep Ken.
If Ken Jennings becomes the host I’m done watching Jeopardy !!! PLEASE anyone but him!!!!!’
I love Ken Jennings! I wasn’t sure before I watched him. He seems so kind, doesn’t miss a beat & I look forward to watching him. He does a great job. Hire him now! No one else could take his place.
Ken has all of the attributes needed for the show. He is knowledgeable, relates well to the contestants and follows their responses with intelligent responses. I think he is the absolute perfect host to cobtinuecthe
Nobody can be Alex but Ken Jennings is doing a great job. He should be the one. Who cares about all these other big stars who will just add the show to their resumes.
Ken Jennings did a fantastic job. STOP dragging this out with guest host after guest host. It does nothing for fans to have all these people use Jeopardy as a stepping stone. You are pulling Alex Trebek's legacy into the gutter.
I am not a fan of Ken Jennings. I probably won’t watch again if he remains permanent host. Jennings puts me on edge.
I will not be watching Jeopardy when Katie Curic is emceeing. She is far from my favorite. I would not watch the news when she was on. Please do not make her the permanent Host.
somehow he just leaves me up tight. It's just not a relaxing show anymore, sorry.
Ken Jennings has been terrific. Not a fan of some of his views but he deserves the job. If not Brooke Burns is my 2nd, and maybe top, choice.
Please keep Ken Jennings as Jeopardy host. He's doing a great job. I know would want him to be the new host.
Please keep Jennings the host. His respect for the game and having the contestants and game be the focal point. It isn’t about him.
Jennings is a jerk past derogatorty comments about the south and midwest prove it
Ken Jennings is the perfect person to follow in Alex Trebek's footsteps. He is smart, engaging, personable, funny, humble and most of all warm and endearing. I will continue to enjoy watching Jeopardy! with the scheduled guest hosts, and patiently wait for Mr. Jennings to return (fingers crossed) as the permanent host on Jeopardy!
Alex isn’t just a great winner, he is one of us-a longtime fan of the show!
Ken matches the grace, timing, and humor Alex brought to the game. He is smart, crisp in look and sound, and he truly likes the candidates.
Ken Jennings has proved himself a worthy replacement for the irreplaceable Alex Trebek. He is super at trivia and he has a confident style. He also shows his sense of humor. He ends each show thanking Alex and to me, that's a class act.
It is wonderful to see a "brain" counting, rather than "so called Beauty". Mr. JEnnings is very handsome, but his intelligence is spectaculer. I hope and pray he gets this job full time.
Please no.
I think Ken Jennings is doing a great job. He settled in after the first week.
I am not watching Jeopardy when Katie Couric, Anderson Cooper, Savannah Guthrie appear as guest host.
He has the same Charisma as Alex had.
I think Ken is very good. I won't be watching the other controversial hosts like Katie Couric, Andrson Cooper, .
Savannahh Guthrie. They shouldn't even dare be on the same stage as Alex.
Ken Jennings has been amazing. My wife and I have watched for years. Be assured, we will not watchKatie Couric, Savannah Guthrie or Anderson Cooper.. We're shocked at your choices!
I think he has done a wonderful job and should be the permanent host.
I think he has done a wonderful job and should be the permanent host.
Ken is doing an amazing job. And I like very much when he says thank you Alex. Keep it up Ken I hope you are the permanent host.
My husband and I have watched Jeopardy for many years. We remember Ken Jennings as a contestant on the program. We believe he has done a great job hosting Jeopardy. We are in favor of him being named as the permanent host. Thank you for allowing us to comment.
Ken Jennings constantly seems arrogant. He has a smile in his voice when he tells him the correct answer. You too often makes it about him. And I really can't stand him saying thank you Alex at the end is he thanking Alex were dying?
After Ken Jennings leaves I will no longer watch Jeopardy until he returns as permanent host. I am not interested in seeing Katie Couric, Savannah Guthrie and especially not Anderson Cooper as hosts.
Ken Jennings is doing an excellent job. We have had enough change in our lives and now want some stability so keep the same host. I will be so disappointed when Ken is finished. Another change that I do not want so will not continue to watch when he goes. We lost Alex and just used Ken and he is gone from the show.
Ken Jennings is doing an amazing job. I know Alex would be proud of him. I would like to see him become the permanent host. He has showed me that he can fill Alex's shoes.
Ken is doing just fine. We do not need a bunch of TV egotistical hacks screwing up a great program. I say this as a Jeopardy fan from the Art Fleming days.
Ken seemed a little (understandably) uncomfortable the first week or two but as he's relaxing into the position he is most enjoyable to watch. No one will ever be Alex but Ken is a close second.
Ken should absolutely take over this position. I cannot even imaging watching some of the upcomming replacements handle it with grace and honor as Ken has. He is a natural and just as kind and unassuming as the wonderful Alex Trebek. Of course, in our household we believe that your producers have already noted this.
Ken is absolutely amazing. You shouldn’t even have to consider anyone else. If he isn’t picked, I will not watch The show any longer. He is a natural and I’m so convinced Alex would want him too.
Why would you look any further ? I am positive Ken Jennings is the perfect host. He is Minnie-Me. You just know how much he likes the show, respects Alex so much, he's very intelligent, very humble, funny, and very kind to the contestants. He is The One ! Please keep him !
Ken is a perfect fit as Jeopardy host.
Ken is doing a pretty good job, but he talks WAY TOOOOOOOOO FAST. Slow down and enjoy the program.
Ken Jennings is perfect. Please look no further. We will not watch Anderson Cooper or Katie Couric. They are tooo political. No one loves the program like Ken. He is comfortable to watch and he is so grateful to Alex as we all are. Please don’t torture us with your list of other professionals. We will not watch Anderson as nd Katie! You will lose tons of us. Thank you for listening
My husband and I both love Ken Jennings as host of Jeopardy. He’s grown into it and blossomed over his guest host time - hope he gets to be permanent host!!
