Alex did a masterful job of making Jeopardy about the competition, the questions and the categories. Ken Jennings has also managed to do that. The other host that have been named will all struggle not making it about them and their presence. Keep Ken Jennings, make it about Jeopardy, not some celebrity.
Darlene Sattersten - 5 years ago
I am sorry, I gave him all this time thinking he will improve. I love him being a contestant but not as the MC.
He is way too fast giving the answer and after. He acts like he is in a race and he has a fake smile. I know Alex was great and it took him awhile too but I will watch it if he became permanent but not for him but the questions , ( yes to see how I could do as contestant . I love James but he for sure would do a bad job but I think if Brad Rutter is host he would be great. I hope they give a few to try out and see. If they keep Ken, somebody PLEASE tell him to slow down and talk a little slower
Norman Grinnell - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings has done a fabulous job using the same successful formula as Alex. He has made the show about the contestants and not himself. Ken uses self-deprecation and warmth toward the contestants to truly make it all about them. He is lightning quick in making judgements about whether the response given by the contestant is correct, encourages them to do better and keeps the game moving quickly, just like Alex. I have been a Jeopardy watcher and fan since the show's inception and as an "expert" believe Ken should get the job permanently. I would be disappointed in anything less. I can't imagine any of the additional guest hosts lined up can hold a candle to Ken or Alex.
Dave L - 5 years ago
As a fan of Jeopardy since being a teenager in the 80's, Alex and the show was a steady constant throughout my life. My grandfather used to watch an earlier airing of the show and then somehow knew all the answers while my family watched during dinner. I was convinced he was the smartest man I knew until I learned his secret. Then I laughed at his ingenious ways. Alex cannot be replaced, but Ken has done an extraordinary job under very difficult circumstances. Alex had 36 years to perfect his craft. Ken has had mere weeks. He appears genuine and certainly humble to be the host. I'd love to see him continue in command of the game he & all the Jeopardy fans adore so much.
Barbara Wetherell - 5 years ago
Ken has done a wonderful job. He totally understands no one will ever be able to replace Alex and that is obvious with always thanking Alex at the end of each game. I feel the same as others, Katie and Savannah should not even be thought of filling in and Anderson Cooper will really not help your ratings. Why ruin a good thing , Ken has the personality and the humor that Alex would be proud of.
Linda - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings is doing a great job!! Jeopardy is an educational show not a variety show. Ken plays the way Alex did. The other guests are just tv “celebrities “.
I watch the show every day. I may stop if it becomes another”entertainment “ venue.
Susan - 5 years ago
I have been a fan for many years. I am sorry for the passing of Alex Trebek
I don’t like Ken Jennings,he is very consited,His smile is very faked.
At the end of the show he mimicked Alex Trebek, also in the beginning with his hands.
He should find a diferent approach towards contestants.
Also he keeps saying at the end Thanks Alex.I understand that, but over and over,he must do is own end.
Lee P. Bent - 5 years ago
I definitely think Jennings is great. Will not watch if Couric or Anderson Cooper is host.

Please leave Ken Jennings! I will definitely stop watching my favorite show on TV when these other "guest hosts" begin. My husband and I both plan our schedules each day so we can watch Jeopardy, but we both agree that the list of guest hosts following Ken make us ill. I bet Alex is tossing in his grave!!!
Dennis Pelkey - 5 years ago
I have been a faithful Jeopardy fan for over 30 years. I WILL NOT be watching any time one of those left-wing losers will be hosting. Ken has earned the host spot, there is no need for any other "posers" !
Cecile - 5 years ago
Honestly if Ken J. does not get to be the permanent host I will not watch Jeopardy again. He reminds me of Alex in many of his mannerisms. He is respectful, knowledgeable, articulate, can be quite humorous and hosts the show with a lot of heart. Alex would be very proud of Ken.
Ken genuinely loves the game.
Ti - 5 years ago
I really liked Ken as a contestant, and he's doing a good job as host thus far. However, I don't think his voice is strong enough to be the full time replacement for Alex.
Linda - 5 years ago
I think Ken is doing a great job, but am interested in seeing guest hosts too. Please add LeVar Burton to the mix, he has made his mission education and literacy. The show is all about learning and he would be a great fit!
As far as Dr. Oz, please skip him! His approach is not science based and we don't need his misinformation promoted. Aaron Rodgers, ok he's a lifelong fan and played well, but not for long term please!
On other GOAT options, please no for James. He's fun to watch but doesn't come across as personable or empathetic. Brad would be good to see though, he has a good sense of humor which is part of the job. He also seems to be able to manage his ego.
Don K - 5 years ago
I agree that Ken is a good fit as Alex’ replacement . He is obviously “at home” with “pinch hitting” for Alex, and shows his great respect for him. If you must, give your “guest hosts” one or two days and see the contrast they will show to the audience and themselves. All will welcome and be relieved when Ken returns as permanent host. No one can be another Alex Trebek! JDK
Betty Taylor - 5 years ago
I think ken is doing a wonderful job. I won’t watch while all these others are on.
Margaret myers - 5 years ago
Looks like the majority of the people has gotten used to Ken Jennings as well my family he is very intelligent so his voice is different big deal. He is a fine young man and deserves the spotlight. My family will stop watching also because we are against the ones coming up. They all have stages.
Kitty ray - 5 years ago
No. Ken is ok but lacks any pizzazz. Kind of boring
Judy Lorigan - 5 years ago
I think Ken Jennings should be named the permanent host. He is articulate, engaging and knows the game better than any other. He has earned this spot and I am sure Alex would agree.
John Black - 5 years ago
Critic's just like to be heard. This is simple Ken's doing a good job. Give him a little time. Don't forget no one will ever completely fill Alex's shoes. Keep up the good job Ken.
RIP Alex Ty ????????

Why would you want to throw all those other people at us when Ken Jennings is the perfect fit and only person to follow Alex Trebec. I will not watch the others. You will be the loser.
Teresa Krone - 5 years ago
Dr Oz???? Maybe he will sell us some of his snake oil as well, Keep Ken
Rita Herrera - 5 years ago
Just read the other guest host names, dont waste your time on them, definitely keep Ken Jennings
Amanda - 5 years ago
The show really needs to figure things out - it’s fine to keep testing hosts, but that laundry list of celebrities that nobody wants? Ken got his trial and it’s time to move on now. I don’t think Jeopardy realizes how crucial picking their new host will be. I love this show, but I really have no problem NEVER watching it again if they mess it up for the viewers.
Erzsie - 5 years ago
I'm surprised at the number of people who want Ken as the permanent host. He is so stoic. He's unsure of how long he should wait to ask a contestant to be more specific. And he definitely does not understand that he has a multi generational audience. His comment earlier this week to a contestant that he got to say butthole on TV sounded like a sketch from South Park, and definitely would not have been said by Alex who had the perfect mix of respect and decorum. His jokes were funny, not crude.
I don't know who Alex's permanent replacement should be, but the producers shouldn't choose Ken.
I'm actually interested to see how Mike Richards will do. He has been on the production team of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
Elaine Lavery - 5 years ago
It should be someone who at least participated in the show and who knew Alex--Ken fits that bill. There are some difficult words to pronounce and Ken has done a superb job and is very much like Alex I think Alex would have wanted Ken to take over his job if he could have a vote. The only other one I would consider would be Jeopardy Jim..
Jean place - 5 years ago
Ken has become comfortable in the role of guest host. He has a sense of humor and an easy way of interacting with the contestants that helps them relax and feel welcome. He has a nice smile and is well informed of the information he reads. If Ken is willing I would like to see him as permanent host. To give Ken a break you could do a celebrity week once in awhile. Please NO permanent celebrity, TV hosts or news people .... Im not interested in watching any of the other guest hosts. I don't think it will help your ratings long term. Ken would be able to keep things going in way that will honor Alex's memory.
Frances Schmahl - 5 years ago
NO!!! He talks too fast... his voice is not good and he seems to like to brag about his own knowledge....
bob jones - 5 years ago
Leave Ken he has won me over as well. He's smart and knows how to do it and explain the answers. Do not ruin a good show by choosing someone to be political correct. It will lose its appeal if you throw different people in there when Ken is the man.
Patty Anderson - 5 years ago
I wasn't sure about Ken Jennings as the new host for Jeopardy but he has won me over!!!! He is so respectful towards Alex's memory. He has relaxed the longer he is on T.V. I will NOT watch Anderson Cooper, Savannah Guthrie, Dr. Oz. I think it's an insult to Alex's memory to bring in these celebrities!!!! Try James or bring back Ken!!!!!!
Kathy Fuss - 5 years ago
Ken is doing a great job in an unusual circumstances. Just would like a chance to see others before I say let Ken have the job
Ruthie - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings is terrific. He should definitely be the permanent host I have on desire to watch ANY of the other suggested hosts especially Katie Curack or Guthrie Oz or Anderson Cooper ! I hope the producers listen to the fans and keep Jennings as host .
Dave - 5 years ago
Ken has done a great job and has the credibility to step into this role.
Do not even THINK about letting “Dr.” Oz host the show. He is an insult to the medical community and has no business being part of Jeopardy!, a program devoted to facts and truth.
Philip Linker - 5 years ago
If Ken Jennings wishes to stay on as permanent Jeopardy host, please give him the contract. He has been excellent If he doesn't want to become permanent host, then please ask James Holtzhauer. If Anderson Cooper or Katie Curic ever become hosts, I will stop watching the show. P.B. Linker
It will be impossible to find someone like Alex, for he was as near perfect as you could get. Ken has Jeopardy in his heart as you can tell and he needs to be the next Alex. Listen to your viewers!
Nita Pike - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings has done an excellent job. I have enjoyed watching him. I will not be watching anymore until he returns. I don't care to see who is scheduled to host.
Debbie - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings surprised me and is doing a good job. I will not watch Cooper, Couric, or Guthrie, so when they are on I will be watching something else. I like jeoparty and have watched for years but it would not ruin my life to stop.
Peter Steele - 5 years ago
Ken started off rather stiff but grew into hosting role quickly. He was "chosen" by Alex and should be chosen as permanent host. Ken loves the game, he loved and respected Alex. Ken deserves to continue in Alex's footsteps.
I have seen every episode that Ken has hosted and want to see him continue. I am not interested in seeing any of the other interim hosts and don't think Alex would approve.
Will Smith - 5 years ago
I have been very impressed with Ken Jennings as temporary host. His personality fits what we liked about Alex. I am not happy with your laundry list of potential replacements.None of them have the personality of Alex or Ken. I feel you will drastically change the personality of the show and ruin thirty-six years of outstanding hosting.
Just because these people are celebrities does not mean they are the right fit to carry on in the gap left by Alex.
THELMA E VIRKLER - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings has done a superb job as guest host on Jeopardy! His mannerisms, reactions, comments, and interactions with the contestants have been so much like Alex's! It's like Ken took over where Alex left off. I suppose it's due to the fact he was a contestant 74 times and probably knew "the routine." One thing I especially like about Ken is his response to a contestant when they give an incorrect answer. His "no" is a much "gentler" one than that of Alex's. I often felt sorry for the contestant when Alex would give an abrupt, "No!", wondering if the contestant felt embarrassed for giving the wrong answer. Maybe it's just me, but I appreciate Ken's softer "No." Also, I think Ken has much more knowledge about different subjects than other possible hosts would have. With Ken "on board", I feel the game would not lose it's characteristic and will remain the same demeanor as if Alex was still at the helm!
Brenda - 5 years ago
WHAT ARE THE PRODUCERS OF JEOPARDY THINKING!!! When you have the ideal perfect replacement for our dear Alex, WHY WOULD YOU LOOK ANY FURTHER?? Ken Jennings is highly intelligent, very pleasant, humble, bright, and kind and uplifting... an obvious intellectual without being arrogant or stuffy or talking down to people. He does NOT interject little snippets of his political views. He keeps the game going and his timing is perfect. I thought Alex's death would also be the death of Jeopardy. It would be with anyone else but Ken Jennings!! Ken so respects the game just as it is... the way it was established by Alex. Ken doesn't want to put his own spin on it as others may.want to do! Ken Jennings is the closest to the class act of Alex on this planet!!!! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE OUR JEOPARDY AIR TIME PARADING "AUDITIONS" OF PERSONALITIES AND CELEBRITIES WHEN YOU ALREADY HAVE THE ONE PERSON WHO CHERISHES, REVERES, AND COMPLETES JEOPARDY IN THE TRUE TREBEK TRADITION!!! We have watched Jeopardy for many years, but will not be watching any future shows with any host other than Ken Jennings.
William Merritt - 5 years ago
How about James? Everyone loves him!
William Merritt - 5 years ago
While Ken Jennings does a credible job, there are many other people that could be better. The person that is the permanent host should be someone with charisma, in the mold of Alex. It certainly would not be Anderson Cooper. I will stop watching if he is named permanent host.
Diane - 5 years ago
Please keep Ken Jennings as the permanent host. He does a great job honoring Alex's legacy every single night and he knows exactly how the show is supposed to work. Like Alex said in one of his last shows, the contestants are the stars of the show. I think the string of celebrity guest hosts is a bit much, even if they represent a charity.
Rebecca Frye - 5 years ago
I think Jeopardy will be ruined if they keep having guest hosts. It will turn into a celebrity show instead of the intellectual show Alex loved. Ken Jennings is doing a great job and we do not need pretty faces or celebrity of the month hosts.
Roxane Bergeron - 5 years ago
Ken jennings does a great job. He has great stage presence.
Debbie - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings surprised me and is doing a good job. I will not watch Cooper, Couric, or Guthrie, so when they are on I will be watching something else. I like jeoparty and have watched for years but it would not ruin my life to stop.
Sami Fye - 5 years ago
Please keep Ken as our host! He is part of our Jeopardy family and knows us as we know him. It is comforting to keep it in the family, allowing us to go without the intrusion of someone who can’t understand the dynamic of our collective relationship.
M.Phillips - 5 years ago
Keep Ken Jennings! He loves the game!. He is personable and certainly can grow into the new position if he desires the job. Ken has done a great job so far! Keep it in the family.
Chris urquhart - 5 years ago
Ken is fine no need for the. News talking heads Cooper, Guthrie, Couric.
Bonnie Longoni - 5 years ago
I agree with comments, Ken Jennings got better and better. Not looking forward to the other guest hosts at all! Ken Jennings has my vote 100%.
Pam - 5 years ago
Ken was Alex's choice let's honor that. Let's face it nobody can replace Alex but the show must go on!
BAH - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings is doing OK but comes off to me as too much of a "know it all." Some of his reactions seem condescending and that is not what I want to see in a host.
SimLeee - 5 years ago
Jennings is smart and likable but not a Host.
A host requires more than intelligence or even a history with the show.
We need to watch the other guest hosts and decide after that.
The Wescoats - 5 years ago
We think that Ken Jennings is the perfect Jeopardy host and he's doing a great job! He loved Alex, the game itself, and will serve Alex's memory well! PLEASE KEEP KEN!!!
Dan - 5 years ago
Ken is doing just fine. I was skeptical at first, but he has exceeded my expectations. The producers must have been stoned out of their minds to select Aaron Roger's. Must have been in his Emmy award winning performances in the State Farm commercials. As for the other left wing whack job guest hosts, I won't be watching. Oh wait, I might watch Katie Couric if she can be "deprogramed" first. NOT
Rhonda Plummer - 5 years ago
Jeopardy has been my favorite show for a very long time. Ken Jennings has been excellent in his hosting. He has a sort of class and respect for the players as shown by Alex Trebek. He has been treated each player regardless of score with outstanding respect and actually makes them feel comfortable. Please keep him permanently on the show. It only fitting for the person that Trebek had so must respect for and had more winnings than any contestant to host Jeopardy. His closing remarks honoring Alex Trebek sends chills to me and tears to my eyes. . Please make him permanent.
Thank you
Rhonda

Ken rocks. Bottom Line. No need for all these guest hosts... Ken wins and that's it. RIP ALEX Ken has our backs!
Charles Smith - 5 years ago
This game show better stay with Ken. because switching around with guess host is going to lose a lot of viewers i'm one of them your lineup of guess host is terrible i don't think Alex would like what your doing . PLEASE STAY WITH ONE NEW HOST KEN JENNINGS. AND THAT ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT!
Jack - 5 years ago
Not sure who had the job of picking guest hosts for the show, but Aaron Rogers IS NOT host material. I'm not sure if anyone other than Ken could pull off the job. Sure, Ken was rigid and tense at first, but who's to say any of the others that have been named will be "professional" when they start ?
Why hasn't Brad been mentioned as a guest host ? I have my doubts the James could even come close to hosting one show, let alone several weeks. And his attitude is piss poor.... watch him on The Chase if you don't believe me !!!
Donna - 5 years ago
NO to Ken Jennings as host. I know it's difficult to replace Alex but this guy is terrible. I don't like watching Jeopardy now at all. He is so dull, no charisma, no "it" factor. I can't stand him. He needs to stay behind the scenes. I don't even like his voice.
Surely you can do better than this. NO TO KEN AS HOST !!!
Francesca Wellard - 5 years ago
I forgot to add that if C, B, S, A, are there for a month’s stint at a time we will not be watching our favourite programme.
DrSSB - 5 years ago
I would like to see more women as guest hosts before a final decision is made. But find women who don't use uptalk or vocal fry in their voices. Please.
Kathleen McGuire - 5 years ago
You are ruining the integrity of the show with the selection of guest hosts. You are making it a reality show
Ken is doing an excellent job.
Respect Alex and choose Ken. Don’t make it a side show
Francesca Wellard - 5 years ago
Total disrespect to Alex to have Couric, Guthrie, Balim, Cooper to host keep Ken who is honest and cared for Mr Trebek do not be ruled by ABC people go with the PEOPLE.
Robin Cuzner - 5 years ago
I wasn't sure I would enjoy the show without Alex. I have been pleasantly surprised with Ken as interim host. I have found Ken to be intelligent and respectful with a true love of this show. He is warm and engaging with the contestants. If Jeopardy feels the need to "try out" other hosts, couldn't it be for a single evening instead of an extended stint? I would love to continue to enjoy watching my favorite game show with Ken Jennings as permanent host.
Deb - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings should be the permanent host. He is doing an amazing job!! I have been watching Jeopardy and taping it for many many years. After his last show is up I will not be watching anymore.
Lisa - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings has gotten better and more comfortable each day. He respects the game and the contestants, which is obvious. And the contestants respect him as well.
I will not watch Katie Couric, Anderson Cooper, Savannah Guthrie, or Dr. Oz because I think they will tend to make it all about themselves - it’s what they do in their careers. Ken seems humble and a perfect successor to Alex.
Gary Wink - 5 years ago
I have enjoyed Jeopardy very much with Ken running the show. He has the know how and especially the intelligence to do the job. I watch it most every night I can but I will not watch it with others there. Ken is a part of Jeopardy and the others have no business even being there.
Steve - 5 years ago
I think it is a total disrespect to Alex that the likes of anderson cooper, katie courac and savanah guthrie are used as hosts!!! Their politics are all leftist extremist and have not place on the same stage as Alex Tribek
Sue W. - 5 years ago
Please, please keep Ken Jennings. I will not watch when Katie Couric, Savannah Guthrie, or Anderson are on. Let those guest hosts havé a one night visit if you must but what we want is continuity, not weeks of turmoil with these polarizing celebrities.
Flora - 5 years ago
If it’s not broke why try to fix it? Ken Jennings has been part of Jeopardy for quite awhile now and doing a great job as emcee. He knows the game, loves it, and takes his new role seriously. Why fool around with a bunch of celebrities who truly have no stake in Jeopardy’s success? Fingers crossed for Ken staying. Alex would have voted “Yes” for Ken also.
A. Briggs - 5 years ago
Ken Jennings is the obvious choice to host Jeopardy. If you start rotating left-winged NBC "celebrities" as Jeopardy hosts, I will be finding my own replacement for those 30 minutes that I now spend watching Jeopardy. Team Ken Jennings 100%!
Sandi Baxter - 5 years ago
This show is personal to Ken......it has made a great impact on his life and it is obvious from his actions. It would be an honor to him to be the host....it would not just be a job.
He has done a great job as host since he started and I will feel more relationship to the show with him as the permanent host.
Grace - 5 years ago
I loved Alex, he was a great person, he was very knowledgeable and funny. He made the show fun to watch. I miss him.
No one will ever replace him, but life goes on.
Ken Jennings is doing a wonderful job, he interacts with the contestants, he's funny and very likeable, I would love to see him take over the show permanently, he has proven himself a worthy host. Those are big shoes to fill, but he can do it, and I'll keep on watching my favorite show with Jennings as permanent host.
Thank you
D. Veater - 5 years ago
At 80+ years we have watched Jeopardy as long as it has been on. Alex was the true master and we miss him but Ken has so much respect for him and is Doing a superb job.. It will ruin the continuity of Jeopardy by having other personalities sporadically. If Ken wants the job it should definitely be his. We love how he interacts with the Stars, like
Alex called the contestants. Katie Couric Sanje Gupta and the others listed ... I don't think so!
John D Perry - 5 years ago
Ken competed many times with the best in the world and came out on top overall. No one else has done that, including Trebek. He deserves the position as permanent host because he has earned it. Showing us he is the most knowledgeable person ever on the show overall. He is as good as Trebek ever was, and shows more interest in the show than did Trebek. No one else can come close to Jennings in this role.
Jacque - 5 years ago
Please NO KATIE COURIC,SAVANNAH GUTHRIE OR, ANDERSON COOPER. My family has been watching Jeopardy for many, many years. We will not be viewing if and when any of these three are on. Since when has such a educational program become political???
Alex would be turning over in his grave.
We say keep Ken Jennings. Some of these Hollywood people would be better off keeping their political views to themselves.
Deb Nelson - 5 years ago
I am a long time fan of jespardy. After watching Alex for over many many yrs. I never thought I would like anyone else.Afyer the first week watching Ken, I have become comfortable with him hosting. He has the class associated with the show. He has the knowledge that also is required of a host. He is as kind as Alex was. I also feel he has a lot to contribute to this program. He is not Alex, but I don't want a Alex clone. I like Ken's attitude and as he keeps getting comfortable hosting I feel he is a good replacement. Thank you Alex.
Fay Howell - 5 years ago
I like Ken Jennings. Some of the others I do not know. Will not watch Couric, Guthrie, or Anderson. They are too political. I think Alex Trebek would be upset if one of these three would replace him. Trebek was always a true professional. I love the way Jennings always gives credit to Trebek. I do like Maylim (sp) as an actress but think Ken is the best choice. He has improved so much since that first week.
Brenda - 5 years ago
Ken has been doing a pretty good job since he has been taking over on January 11th. As for the others I will see how they turn out. But Ken is my choice. He seems to just fall into the position plus he always says something nice about Alex every night.
Rebecca H - 5 years ago
Katie Couric NO! Savannah Guthrie No! Anderson Cooper No! Such horrible ridiculous choices! Let's change that channel at my house. Might watch a night of Aaron Rodgers just to hear him try to pronounce big words. Keep Ken Jennings and be done with it! He's the perfect fit.
Jacqueline Plante - 5 years ago
With all due respect, I will not watch political personalities Couric or Guthrie host. Alex would wince at those who convey that the show is all about them. For all his popularity, Alex exhibited humility at the highest level.
Ken Jennings has hit the right notes and will only get better as time goes on. I’ve enjoyed watching him.
Please shorten your list of guest hosts and the length of time of their “tryouts”.
Linda - 5 years ago
No Ken Jennings. No please....seems fake. The voice is wrong...he's nerdy smarmy...don't seem to fit..not in first week not now.....couldn't stand him as contestant. No k. J.please.
Connie henn - 5 years ago
I have been watching Jeopardy for years and I am 80.
Ken Jennings has big shoes to fill as have some talk show hosts. Ken, was pretty stiff in the first couple shows and now seems to be settling in and is much smoother and seems comfortable. If anyone watches Jimmy Fallen even a little , he has come a long way and fits right in. At first I thought ( oh no) but now, he is himself. IIt was not in Kens career plans to do this and he needs a chance. Besides , I don’t think anyone was ready to let Alex go.
Jeanne - 5 years ago
Keep Ken. I have been watching Jeopardy since Art Fleming was host and like Ken said “no one can replace Alex” but Ken is doing a great job. People are complaining that he rushes at times. Take a look at Alex’s early shows. He rushed it too. He could also be snarky at times but still was great. I will have a hard time enjoying Jeopardy with Couric, Cooper and please not Stefanopolis(sp?)
Louise White - 5 years ago
Look no further. Ken Jennings should become the new host. I feel comfortable watching him because of his closeness to Alex. No one other than Alex was on the game show longer! He is doing an awesome job!
V. Hartinger - 5 years ago
I think Ken Jennings is the logical choice. I think Alex Trebek would be proud of the chpice.
Friend - 5 years ago
I think Kens nerves showed in the first week but that is understandable. He has grown into the host role quite nicely and is very personable. He has changed up the segment where the contestants share information about themselves and seems to allow a bit more times. He is thoughtful in responding to their stories. He is doing a great job. I think he should be made permanent.
L.sessie - 5 years ago
NO KEN JENNINGS.
DO NOT CARE FOR HIM AT ALL.
WE ARE MANY YEARS VIEWERS KEN DOES NOT HAVE EVEN CLOSE THE PERSONALITY TO FILL ALEX SHOES....HES TO SNARKY...CANT STAND HIS VOICE....PLEASE NO KEN JENNINGS. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE /'HEARING OTHER OPTIONS.
Christie L Beal - 5 years ago
Ken is gracious and humble. He doesn't pretend to be Alex or compete with him. He is just himself; it's refreshing to see a regular person hosting a regular show. It's taken the heartache of losing Alex to a soothing compress of gentleness. To me, it's a natural transition---mentor to mentee.
Bruce Hall - 5 years ago
He is smart but does not have the "it thing"...lacking charisma !!! Anxious to see all the other talent coming up...such an important decision so don't get stuck on the first one????
Shari - 5 years ago
I am so impressed by Ken's performance. He has done a phenomenal job from day one. He is the natural and only choice to take on this role.
Mary - 5 years ago
If you put Katie Couric in as host I will never watch this show again like millions of other Americans after what Katie Couric said about Trump voters. I will also contact you sponsor and complain along with stop buying their products.
Nancy - 5 years ago
My thoughts on this have already been posted by others, but in case voicing them again has any impact — Ken is growing beautifully into the role of Jeopardy host. I would be happy to see him stay there. I definitely WILL NOT WATCH if liberal political commentators take over. And I have been watching since the days of Art Fleming!!
ken kaniff - 5 years ago
He has gotten so much better over his short tenure. I cringed at his voice and attitude at first, but he has adapted well is quick on his feet. I would like to see others but I doubt any of the upcoming hosts would want the gig full time like Ken would.
Linda - 5 years ago
He is smug and arrogant with an annoying voice. I've watched for many years and he could force me to quit. And only an idiot would try and make this political.
Bernadette - 5 years ago
I think there is know need to look any further, Ken is doing an excellent job. I truly believe that this is who Alex would want to take his place.
Alex did a masterful job of making Jeopardy about the competition, the questions and the categories. Ken Jennings has also managed to do that. The other host that have been named will all struggle not making it about them and their presence. Keep Ken Jennings, make it about Jeopardy, not some celebrity.

Ken Jennings is doing a great job!! Jeopardy is an educational show not a variety show. Ken plays the way Alex did. The other guests are just tv “celebrities “.
I watch the show every day. I may stop if it becomes another”entertainment “ venue.
I definitely think Jennings is great. Will not watch if Couric or Anderson Cooper is host.
When Ken is done, I am done.
Shag
Please leave Ken Jennings! I will definitely stop watching my favorite show on TV when these other "guest hosts" begin. My husband and I both plan our schedules each day so we can watch Jeopardy, but we both agree that the list of guest hosts following Ken make us ill. I bet Alex is tossing in his grave!!!
I have been a faithful Jeopardy fan for over 30 years. I WILL NOT be watching any time one of those left-wing losers will be hosting. Ken has earned the host spot, there is no need for any other "posers" !
I really liked Ken as a contestant, and he's doing a good job as host thus far. However, I don't think his voice is strong enough to be the full time replacement for Alex.
JDK
I think ken is doing a wonderful job. I won’t watch while all these others are on.
Looks like the majority of the people has gotten used to Ken Jennings as well my family he is very intelligent so his voice is different big deal. He is a fine young man and deserves the spotlight. My family will stop watching also because we are against the ones coming up. They all have stages.
No. Ken is ok but lacks any pizzazz. Kind of boring
I think Ken Jennings should be named the permanent host. He is articulate, engaging and knows the game better than any other. He has earned this spot and I am sure Alex would agree.
Critic's just like to be heard. This is simple Ken's doing a good job. Give him a little time. Don't forget no one will ever completely fill Alex's shoes. Keep up the good job Ken.
RIP Alex Ty ????????
Critic's just like to be heard. This is simple Ken's doing a good job. Give him a little time. Don't forget no one will ever completely fill Alex's shoes. Keep up the good job Ken.
RIP Alex Ty ????????
Why would you want to throw all those other people at us when Ken Jennings is the perfect fit and only person to follow Alex Trebec. I will not watch the others. You will be the loser.
Dr Oz???? Maybe he will sell us some of his snake oil as well, Keep Ken
Just read the other guest host names, dont waste your time on them, definitely keep Ken Jennings
NO!!! He talks too fast... his voice is not good and he seems to like to brag about his own knowledge....
Leave Ken he has won me over as well. He's smart and knows how to do it and explain the answers. Do not ruin a good show by choosing someone to be political correct. It will lose its appeal if you throw different people in there when Ken is the man.
Ken is doing a great job in an unusual circumstances. Just would like a chance to see others before I say let Ken have the job
Ken Jennings is terrific. He should definitely be the permanent host I have on desire to watch ANY of the other suggested hosts especially Katie Curack or Guthrie Oz or Anderson Cooper ! I hope the producers listen to the fans and keep Jennings as host .
Ken has done a great job and has the credibility to step into this role.
Do not even THINK about letting “Dr.” Oz host the show. He is an insult to the medical community and has no business being part of Jeopardy!, a program devoted to facts and truth.
P.B. Linker
I don't like his voice for a permanent host.
It will be impossible to find someone like Alex, for he was as near perfect as you could get. Ken has Jeopardy in his heart as you can tell and he needs to be the next Alex. Listen to your viewers!
Ken Jennings has done an excellent job. I have enjoyed watching him. I will not be watching anymore until he returns. I don't care to see who is scheduled to host.
Ken Jennings surprised me and is doing a good job. I will not watch Cooper, Couric, or Guthrie, so when they are on I will be watching something else. I like jeoparty and have watched for years but it would not ruin my life to stop.
How about James? Everyone loves him!
While Ken Jennings does a credible job, there are many other people that could be better. The person that is the permanent host should be someone with charisma, in the mold of Alex. It certainly would not be Anderson Cooper. I will stop watching if he is named permanent host.
I think Jeopardy will be ruined if they keep having guest hosts. It will turn into a celebrity show instead of the intellectual show Alex loved. Ken Jennings is doing a great job and we do not need pretty faces or celebrity of the month hosts.
Ken jennings does a great job. He has great stage presence.
Ken Jennings surprised me and is doing a good job. I will not watch Cooper, Couric, or Guthrie, so when they are on I will be watching something else. I like jeoparty and have watched for years but it would not ruin my life to stop.
Please keep Ken as our host! He is part of our Jeopardy family and knows us as we know him. It is comforting to keep it in the family, allowing us to go without the intrusion of someone who can’t understand the dynamic of our collective relationship.
Keep Ken Jennings! He loves the game!. He is personable and certainly can grow into the new position if he desires the job. Ken has done a great job so far! Keep it in the family.
Ken is fine no need for the. News talking heads Cooper, Guthrie, Couric.
I agree with comments, Ken Jennings got better and better. Not looking forward to the other guest hosts at all! Ken Jennings has my vote 100%.
Ken was Alex's choice let's honor that. Let's face it nobody can replace Alex but the show must go on!
Ken Jennings is doing OK but comes off to me as too much of a "know it all." Some of his reactions seem condescending and that is not what I want to see in a host.
Jennings is smart and likable but not a Host.
A host requires more than intelligence or even a history with the show.
We need to watch the other guest hosts and decide after that.
We think that Ken Jennings is the perfect Jeopardy host and he's doing a great job! He loved Alex, the game itself, and will serve Alex's memory well! PLEASE KEEP KEN!!!
NOT
Jeopardy has been my favorite show for a very long time.
I forgot to add that if C, B, S, A, are there for a month’s stint at a time we will not be watching our favourite programme.
I would like to see more women as guest hosts before a final decision is made. But find women who don't use uptalk or vocal fry in their voices. Please.
You are ruining the integrity of the show with the selection of guest hosts. You are making it a reality show
Ken is doing an excellent job.
Respect Alex and choose Ken. Don’t make it a side show
Total disrespect to Alex to have Couric, Guthrie, Balim, Cooper to host keep Ken who is honest and cared for Mr Trebek do not be ruled by ABC people go with the PEOPLE.
Ken Jennings should be the permanent host. He is doing an amazing job!! I have been watching Jeopardy and taping it for many many years. After his last show is up I will not be watching anymore.
I have enjoyed Jeopardy very much with Ken running the show. He has the know how and especially the intelligence to do the job. I watch it most every night I can but I will not watch it with others there. Ken is a part of Jeopardy and the others have no business even being there.
I think it is a total disrespect to Alex that the likes of anderson cooper, katie courac and savanah guthrie are used as hosts!!! Their politics are all leftist extremist and have not place on the same stage as Alex Tribek
Please, please keep Ken Jennings. I will not watch when Katie Couric, Savannah Guthrie, or Anderson are on. Let those guest hosts havé a one night visit if you must but what we want is continuity, not weeks of turmoil with these polarizing celebrities.
Ken Jennings is the obvious choice to host Jeopardy. If you start rotating left-winged NBC "celebrities" as Jeopardy hosts, I will be finding my own replacement for those 30 minutes that I now spend watching Jeopardy. Team Ken Jennings 100%!
This show is personal to Ken......it has made a great impact on his life and it is obvious from his actions. It would be an honor to him to be the host....it would not just be a job.
He has done a great job as host since he started and I will feel more relationship to the show with him as the permanent host.
Thank you
At 80+ years we have watched Jeopardy as long as it has been on.
Ken has been doing a pretty good job since he has been taking over on January 11th. As for the others I will see how they turn out. But Ken is my choice. He seems to just fall into the position plus he always says something nice about Alex every night.
No Ken Jennings. No please....seems fake. The voice is wrong...he's nerdy smarmy...don't seem to fit..not in first week not now.....couldn't stand him as contestant. No k. J.please.
Look no further. Ken Jennings should become the new host. I feel comfortable watching him because of his closeness to Alex. No one other than Alex was on the game show longer! He is doing an awesome job!
I think Ken Jennings is the logical choice. I think Alex Trebek would be proud of the chpice.
He is smart but does not have the "it thing"...lacking charisma !!! Anxious to see all the other talent coming up...such an important decision so don't get stuck on the first one????
I am so impressed by Ken's performance. He has done a phenomenal job from day one. He is the natural and only choice to take on this role.
If you put Katie Couric in as host I will never watch this show again like millions of other Americans after what Katie Couric said about Trump voters. I will also contact you sponsor and complain along with stop buying their products.
He has gotten so much better over his short tenure. I cringed at his voice and attitude at first, but he has adapted well is quick on his feet. I would like to see others but I doubt any of the upcoming hosts would want the gig full time like Ken would.
He is smug and arrogant with an annoying voice. I've watched for many years and he could force me to quit. And only an idiot would try and make this political.
I think there is know need to look any further, Ken is doing an excellent job. I truly believe that this is who Alex would want to take his place.
