colorful area where frequent book-readings are given. Numerous book clubs are enjoyed by their members, one of whom has been inspired to write her first book. The elderly enjoy having a chat when their library books are delivered. Cindy has even learnt to knit so she could participate in our annual Knit-in.
Gundagai Library has become a real community centre with Cindy at the helm.

Sue is an asset to the library service in so many ways apart from her warm personality and aptitude for library work. She is filled with creative ideas and enthusiasm for displays and children's activities, creating props and examples of what the outcomes will be to encourage children to participate. She relates paticularly well to the elderly and those in need of assistance, whether advice on books and reading or computers for which she has a high level of skills. Whatever Sue puts her mind to she does well, always putting time beyond work requirements into it to ensure its success. Her promotion of the library in the community is an asset to both Council and the entire library service.

Sue Gammon in Bundaberg has made the library into the treasure it is for our city. She has created a great space, literally, as she oversaw the refurbishment of the library into a modern and userfriendly resource for the city. It now also has a cafe that raises funds for Bundaberg Health and Sue is very active in the community. She's creative, extremely well read - we love her book reviews on ABC Local Radio - and she's very generous - a reall asset to our region.

We love Heather's fantastic welcoming library decorations, unfailing enthusiasm, a willingness to help children, staff and Parent's with all sorts of things! She has a fabulous dedication to Book Club activities and the most awesome Book Parade Events! We never want to do without her!!

A very helpful librarian to young and old.
Julie is very knowledgeable about children, youth and engaging learners in literacy. As a student primary teacher, she helped me recently with an assignment and I learn so much from her about literacy in such a small period of time. She was totally willing to sit down with me for half an hour, and was more than happy to discuss what the library had to offer.
