Sue is a librarian who has been with the ACT Library Service for many years and has just retired last month. I have always found her to be very kind and helpful. Her reference skills are also outstanding and will be a great loss to us. When I was a new staff member her assistance was invaluable in helping me to settle into my role. She has been a great colleague and cares about our clients - often going the extra mile for them and us.

Kerry Wilson, Librarian at Stawell, is ever so dedicated to her work, her patrons and the children that are constantly flowing through the doors of this literary hub. Anyone who knows Ms Wilson would agree that she is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that your visit to Stawell's library is one to make you smile. Easy to approach and more than happy to research any topic that is asked of her, Ms Wilson is always there ready to greet you with a smile, something she has done now for as long as many primary/high schoolers can remember. Having witnessed her manner first hand, she is a credit to not only to the Stawell branch, but to the Wimmera Regional Library Corporation as a whole. It is easy to see that time, thought and hands on training from Ms Wilson go into each and every Stawell branch team member - clearly indicating that she values a particularly high level of standards in regards to the interaction between staff and public patrons. Go there. See it for yourself. Feel the warmth. Hear the laughter. You might just want to go back time and time again...

Alison Bambach's passion and enthusiasm for the role of public libraries in our community is infectious. Sue is always cheery when you see her in the library and has been the driving force behind a number of community literacy programs: - Rotary Readers which matches volunteers with primary school children to assist their reading skills and the combined Library and Bundaberg East Rotary book sales (all money raised goes back into the local community). Sue also regularly gives book reviews on ABC Local radio. Sue is very proud of the library and her passion shows in everything she does!

My 3 boys love Kristin and have for over 10years through Storytime.
It wasn't a Thursday without Stories with Kristen when they were growing up.
The boys are most comfortable going to the Library for homework help etc when they need.

Thanks to Kristin my boys know and appreciate our local Library.

Nothing is ever too much trouble for Eric. He will help without being asked, all the elderly ladies consider him their grandson and he will find the unfindable! He is willing to share his knowledge about the World wars and music too. Even the most difficult borrower is no match for Eric's good humour and problem solving skills.

Anji is a wonderful librarian, with all the qualities needed to cope with the someimes difficult area of the mobile library Not only do you need to be patient, kind, knowledgeable, and have a prodigous memory, but you have to be able to drive the behemoth around safely! Anji does all these things, while pregnant, and with a sense of fun and caring. She is without doubt Australia's best librarian!

Cesarina Carruthers is simply the best librarian I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Extraodinary service, gorgeous smiles and a fantastic fun personality make every visit to Karratha library a feel good experience. Cesurina can turn a bad day around in minutes. Karratha library has been moved a few times so this may make voting hard for many, but the people of the Pilbara know who the best librarian is!

Cindy is a tireless, extremely pleasant person at our local Library. Nothing is too big an effort for her. Cindy is constantly looking for new activities to introduce to the popular Library. These informative and educational activities are for all ages from babies and kiddies to seniors. Cindy often takes small animals (pups, ducks etc) for "show and tell" sessions and just for fun. Mothers take their children along to join in. We have never heard a grumpy word from our energetic, caring Librarian.
