Ms Taylor goes beyond the typical description of a librarian. She connects with all the girls on a personal level, and works to empower their academic strengths with the help of her unbelievable knowledge of literature. We are all very happy to have her in our lives at PLC; she has contributed to the success of many young girls on academic and personal levels. She is a truly remarkable woman.

Priya manages the Mirrabooka Library, set in an area the many social challenges including one of the higest migrant intake areas. I have worked along side Priya in deliverying new town centre infrastructure which over an 18 month period impacted library services. Throughout this time, Priya was accomodating and very professional, ensuring the essential services provided by the Mirrabooka Library was not compromised.
No one deserves this award more then Priya Lawton.

Holly Godfree is one of the most knowledgeable librarians I have every met! And she really connects with kids! The last time I saw her she had two children ages 8 and 11 literally hanging onto her arms! And the exctiement she brings to the books is amazing. She is THE BEST!!!

What makes a favourite librarian? HOLLY GODFREE! She's dedicated, tireless, enthusiastic, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and relates well to all age groups. When I started work at the Bentley Child Health centre, the children's ear;y literacy programme was suffering throughnot having a dedicated Children's Librarian. Francine came to work at Bentley, a very multicultral lower to mid socio-economic area and revitalised the programme, offering a much needed service to the community. Rhyme time for infants and their parents and story time for toddlers has been so successful that the programme has been expanded due to increased demand.
It was been a pleasure for me to work in a supportive collegial way with Francine during my time at Bentley.Francine is an amazing advocate for early literacy and her gentle ways are appreciated by the parents and children alike.

You haven't truly experienced the world that a library has to offer until you've had the pleasure of being with Jae Rolt. I truly feel sorry for the other School and that don't have her as a Teacher. She taught me to love literature, respect it and lose myself in it. I learnt so much which her as my Librarian and have taken it with me to high school and with life. Thanks Mrs Rolt, you are AWESOME!

Jae Rolt brings book characters to life for her students. For Book Week she has dressed as everyone from Maid Marian to Bellatrix Lestrange, Dorothy Gale to the Cat in the Hat. She is awesome!

I would like to vote for Jae Rolt as she is a librarian through and through! When her school library was burned down, she worked tirelessly with fund raisers, with community, government and anyone else she could get assistance from, she was responsible for the amazing library now giving her students a wonderful gift, "the love of reading and the love of books" Jae deserves to be "the favourite Librarian" !!!!!

I have been a member of this library for many years, and during this time I have on so many occasions seen Dominique at work. Watching her dedication whilst with children is really inspiring. You can see the children listening to every word and leaving the library with smiles on their faces.

She has passed her love of books onto young children and because of her love of books the future generation will know the pleasure of reading and holding a book.

Good luck Dominique you would be a most deserved winner of this award.

Jae Rolt has changed my child's life, supporting my son's love of books by encouraging him to write and draw as well as read. Now in year three, he is so excited to start his week with Mrs Rolt and borrowing books to read throughout the week. To see her interact with the students at the school is such a delight (especially in book week) & I believe it's due to her passion that so many kids love to read! I could never thank her enough!!

Jae is amazing. She bends over backwards to help people and makes the library a magical place to be for the kids. She is like a mentor to me as I am still pretty new to the role. It's great to know I can ask her anything no matter how silly I may think is sounds :)

Jae just lives and loves being a teacher/librarian - passing her love of books and knowledge onto the primary age children under her care. The children also think the world of her. Good luck - best librarian ever.

Jae Rolt does the best book fairs and all students and teachers participate with so much enthusiasm. She really brings the library to life. She is a blessing for all the kids at her school.
